@@zachgreen759 the A&M game last year. Made zero sense. But here’s the thing! I knew it was going to happen. We are feeling great about our team. A&M has been abysmal all season. I hate A&M and it’s the one team I beg LSU not to lose to each year. I can tolerate losing to just about any other team, but not A&M. So naturally A&M plays their best game and LSU plays like crap
I was at that game. It was hot as hell too. Game started at 2:30 and it was September. Me and my dad went and we were like “if they don’t come back we’re leaving.”
I was there for a bunch of these moments and the loudest moment I remember was during the Florida game in 2007 when they announced USC had just lost to Stanford, the place went absolutely insane, the band started playing and you literally couldn’t think because it was so unbelievably loud
I was at the 2007 Florida game. It was crazy loud. I can remember when Tebow threw the last second Hail Mary. The stadium was deadly silent when the ball was in the air. Then the ball hit the ground & the place went crazy. The was the best game I have ever seen at Tiger Stadium.
I was there at that game as well as it was my first LSU game as I drove 5 hours from northern Mississippi. When they announced that Stanford beat USC it was so loud almost painful. I’ve been to stadiums all over the country, and that moment was indeed the loudest I’ve ever heard. LSU rallied to beat the Gators afterward
There’s no video, but the announcement of Stanford upsetting USC during the 07 UF game is the loudest moment of 2007, and was the third loudest recorded crowd (at the time)
I was there. We went absolutely nuts for a solid minute. Then to witness that game, in particular that 4th quarter, still the greatest LSU game I've ever seen.
@@andrewmcnicoll4268 I was there too with my dad. One of my fondest memories with him. Went to both playoff games together in 2019 too. Our entire relationship revolves around LSU football. It brings us together like nothing else.
Going into this game USC was ranked #1 and LSU was #2. I have been to many, many games in Tiger Stadium including most of the games in this video. I have always said that the loudest moment that I ever heard it get was when it was announced that USC had lost to Stanford.
That moment is why that will always be my favorite game I’ve ever been to. There were a lot of great moments in that game, but I will never forget that announcement and the crowd’s reaction.
1:41 - I was at that game with my dad as a freshman at Louisiana-Lafayette. One of the best moments I saw in Death Valley ever. Keep in mind they lost to Troy the week before *at home,* so that was a crushing blow to that LSU team. This re-invigorated the team and pushed them back up for the rest of the season.
last year against Bama was insanity. that OT going for 2 I couldnt hear anything at all. Didnt even know they scored until the fans started running on the field
I worked on a flight line heard C17, A10, B52 but walking into death valley was the loudest thing i heard in my life. I never seen a large concrete structure shake under me, after about 10 minutes you cant hear anymore, you just know it ever louder than before but its that initial walk in that was insane to me.
You missed the loudest moment during the 2007 game against Florida. There's videos of it on UA-cam, but when they announced #1 USC lost in Tiger Stadium the crowd went absolutely bonkers. LSU was #2 and new if they beat Florida they'd be #1 the next week. Florida had the lead at that time. The crowd going so wild even got the bench fired up. After that everyone knew LSU would come back to win that game.
Add 2 more times the earth shook at this year's 2022 LSU vs Alabama game. Jayden Daniels OT TD run and the 2pt. conversion both registered on the Richter scale!
The 2 years Tebow came to tiger stadium! I was at the 2007 one. You couldn’t hear your own scream it was so loud. & it was like that all game! The 2009 game looked crazy too. The crowd did everything it could but that was when our offense & qb play started getting awful
loudest I have ever heard was the 2004 LSU vs Auburn (AU hit upright in OT) and the 2007 LSU vs Auburn... dear God.. was there in the student section and it was insane!!!!
Out of curiosity what makes LSU night games so loud and electric compared to other night games at large stadiums? How does a LSU night game stack up against a Penn State whiteout?
I’ve been to both. Went for white out game last year when auburn played and have been to LSU-Auburn game multiple times in Baton Rouge. Happy Valley isn’t even in the same league as tiger stadium. LSU will forever be the loudest environment
@@cane870 It was a question to someone a year ago. There are other big stadiums in the SEC. So I was wondering what makes an LSU game louder and more electric then a game at Tennessee, Bama, FLA..etc...There stadiums are just as big. And a Beaver Stadium is better, louder, then all SEC stadiums with the exception of maybe LSU. Penn States student section has won best student section for several years. You people in the SEC think you are the only people that play football. Meanwhile Michigan just clobbered Nick Saban into retirement and the Big 10 won the Natty.
And it all got started in 1959 on that Halloween night a legendary punt return for which clinched the Heisman Trophy Award for a young man named Billy Cannon covering 89 yards and to score the games' only TD and stopped Ole Miss Rebels QB Doug Elmore keeping him from going into the end zone denying a winning TD from being scored in the games' closing seconds to secure a 7-3 win in the '59 Magnolia Bowl. Then on New Years Day in 1960 Ole Miss paid them back on LSU with an convincing 21-0 country whuppin' in the Sugar Bowl.
The 2012 alabama game (yes I know how it ended) when Jarvis Landry caught the td pass to take the lead, you can hear a literal roar from the crowd. You can hear just from the UA-cam clip how loud it must have been. I mean it's a damn roar and I'm sure the emotions were high at that point cause they took the lead in the 4th qtr so I'm sure everyone thought this would be the revenge.... but it wasn't. Fuckin bama
Maybe add some graphics, to make it more clear what game it was. I think you missed MS State 2000, OT game. At the time, LSU fans ranked it 3rd. Horrible experience personally…lol
