    Must have been frustrating to have been a big bad linebacker, in a top 10 program, and get run over ... and then, have to watch a 240 lb guy outrun your 180 lb defensive backs ... as you get up from the dirt.

      @@MadMax-lw3ri no actually the first year he had 9 yards on 5 carries while LSU getting shut out 17 - 0 I’ve been a fan of his since he was a freshman, but freshman or not there isn’t an excuse for that kind of performance. And his second year AR won AT LSU 31 - 14
      Yes he had 91 yards and scored a 2 yard TD later in the game when they were way behind, while his longest run was 13 yards(not terrible numbers but actually go back and watch the game you’ll see he was completely shut down and was not a factor whatsoever)And then yes the final year when Arkansas was actually favored and looked like the better team LSU whooped them and Fournette had a good game. I remember being nervous and thinking to myself before that game “what are the chances Arkansas will be able to shut down Fournette for the 3rd straight year? He’s due for a huge game against us and is gonna be determined not to let it happen again.” And I was right he definitely had a big game. I still picked AR to win that game though because if you remember that was really kinda the one where everyone saw the potential of what LSU could look like under Ed Orgeron.
      But that’s what I loved about the AR-LSU rivalry because it truly never mattered who was favored, the games were always insane and came down to the wire every year

    His offense of line did all the work...any body that get through a hole with speed ....there gonna tear it up!!! All I see is an amazing offense of line and great run blocking. D. Swift is a beast!!!

      ThePhillysports4ever We can handle WR in free agency. This draft we need RB & CB. There's a ton of talent at CB so a RB round 1 wouldn't hurt much

    One of Fournette's biggest weaknesses no one chooses to address. Is the fact that he doesn't succeed well if the O-Line has no gap opened immediately. He lacks patience and uses his strength to overcome it. That could result in a career of injuries and let's face the fact...He's not running and trucking NFL players like he did in college.
    Just examine his games and highlights to see what I'm talking about.

    • @jamieflanagan4110
      @jamieflanagan4110 7 років тому +39

      HipHop Lover No running back will succeed if there is no gaps open. The only back that could do that was Barry Sanders. Zeke can't do it. Emmitt couldn't do it. Adrian can't do it.

    • @lyricalequation7198
      @lyricalequation7198 7 років тому +5

      Notice I said gap opened immediately. Which means he lacks patience. Which is needed for a RB. That's something Zeke lacked early in his NFL season, before learning it quickly. There's plenty of backs that if they don't get a gap opened in seconds. They'll bounce to the left or right. Davonte Freeman is a back that constantly does this. You don't need to be Barry Sanders do it. This is were backs like A.P & Fournette's ability lack. They're agility and cut aren't that well for them to succeed at it. Let's say like a Davonte Freeman, Dalvin Cook, etc.

      Fournette can not cut like Mccoy. Barry Sanders and Shady are on other planets in the field of elusiveness when it comes to RB's in the past 25 years, that comparison is foolish

    I remember watching that game against Auburn in Death Valley, it was so damn hot, it was 105 at field level. He ran thru the whole Auburn defense all afternoon, he wound up with almost as many yards as the entire Auburn offense! Shaking the guy off his back will always be one of my best memories of him :)

      Fsu08 Alvarado No we don't. Bradberry and Worley have proven their selves. As rookies they were very good for being thrown into the fire after all we lost the past season. We're secure at that spot, we need a SS for our defense to tighten up our secondary. Corner isn't even in the top 5 needs for us at this point.

    • @niirvash
      @niirvash 7 років тому +2

      Fsu08 This is typically what people who don't watch our team say.. Bradberry was very good last season and Worely was solid for the last half of it. Getting another CB at pick #8 in round one in 2017 when we drafted THREE CBs last year would be one hell of a reach.
