Thank you very much Ady! This beach can be a little overwhelming when we first arrive, haha, but we are slowly learning how to adjust our eyes to the different areas we search... on this beach we try to focus on bright colours, and glass pieces, or else we think we'd be in the same spot for hours x Thank you for watching :)

Hello There Everyone, on this Beautiful Sunny Day here in Nor Cali US. Been raining buckets every day, with out many breaks in the last month, so I'm very Thankful. Kate, The black ring you found was most likely a bakelite shade pull, from the early 1900s?
Here is a description of (Jet) and it's origins ....The black tile may be jet, the way it looks before being carved into a button or? Jet comes in soft and hard, coming from the wood of the family of trees known as Araucariaceae, said to be from millions of yrs ago. The Hard Jet is formed by the compression of the wood and Salt Water and the Soft is from the wood being compressed with Fresh water. Fleur, The jet you found on the beach on a video a few weeks ago, that even had wood grain on it, Must have been hard jet? Learned this from info I got from the Denver Gem Show. Thought you and the viewers would appreciate it. : )
Sweet little acorn, begging to be cast and made into a pendant. Also Love that pretty rose/floral pottery piece. A Glorious Sunset Cabochon, fashioned from Superb piece of Agate? I'm wondering if the black was a glue used to repair the break. Many earlier glues darkened over the years. Lead school pencil to (our right) of the gobby stone. My favorite finds are All of the Beads, the Sunset Cabochon and the Doll Cup. BTW I am very proud of you Fleur, the way you spotted the tiniest of finds. Big ((Hugs)) to You Both and a pet-and-a-scratch for Sunny.

Regarding the teeth, never underestimate the outcome of a rousing bar-brawl. I am sure that kind of extraction by surprise, when dubiously numbed, was much better than dentistry of the age? When my son was little, he banged his front tooth on a metal folding chair and it came out. It has a long root on it. (The dentist said not to worry because it was a first set tooth and the second would come along soon enough. And it did.) But I still have this tooth in his baby book. Glad there are two films ; so many lovely finds on the beaches all frosted and gorgeous ; cant wait to see the mysterious bead revealed . Yes ; being pooped on by a seagull is lucky ; i thought the crows that live on the beach were bombing me with stones but they were just smashing up their fresh muscles haha . Love crows. Anyway bought myself a coin case which houses my agates now . My grandfather would have made these brooches and pendants ; he seemingly also loved agates and was a jeweller so it is in my genes somewhere and I like that connection . Second favourite is the echinoid fossil possibly agatised also . The third is your terracotta cup ; lovely . Seaglass beads and buttons have such depth to them beautiful . Looking forward to the next one.

I often think back to watching your very first film and it is wonderful to see how you have developed your skills, your secondary filming is so good and atmospheric. Now Kate, how can someone who goes bonkers for colour be in love with beige, the dullest colour on earth? That tiles with the unidentified veg on reminds me of a rose hip or something when the seed is gone and the covering is left. If you teeth are from discarded remains, I think you will find that teeth will last a lot longer than bone so maybe these are the last remains of those poor people. Great film, looking forward to the next.

Thank you Nick & Jane! We are quite proud of our new films compared to our first ones, haha, we really had no idea what we were doing. I think it is because beige is the colour of mushrooms and is a very warm colour, but mum doesn't understand my love of it either! Oooh! It could be rose hip husk! Thank you as always for watching :)

Great little finds. Kate’s agate pendant is lovely and in the colours she likes 🙂
I could have sworn there was a tiny little red bottle right next to the white leg/boot that Kate found but I don’t know if it was broken or you just didn’t see it!
The fruit on the tile Kate found is a pomegranate I think 🙂
Looking forward to part 2 as I’m dying to know what your bucket list find was 🤔😉

Re the hole in the Cowrie shell. Sea creatures feed on shells by piercing the shall to get to the food inside. Octopuses are one such animal 👍👍

So jealous of your treasure beaches. My husband would always know exactly where to find me on the (I'm sure) many, many times I would come up missing. :)

We are very lucky where we live, and Mr.Caboodler would definitely know the places to check first if we went missing too 😅

in thee 1920 and 30s a company called J A Deknatel & Son made these beads to put on new born infants in busy hospitals. It came in a box with beads and this was a security measure to keep baby safe and matched with the mother.
