- In this unboxing video I take a look at the latest variant of the M9 from Beretta. This is a pistol that is the next step after the M9A3 and offers a few more upgrades like optics mounting and forward cocking serrations. I wanted to unbox this and show off its features. I am excited to have this in my collection now.

Man, that is probably the coolest packaging that I've seen for a firearm! I agree they should give you a sticker though. The unboxing experience adds to your purchase for me.

You forgot to mention that the trigger bars are entirely different on the M9A3 and M9A4. The M9A3 uses a more stock trigger bar that can be found on the M9A1, 92FS, and other legacy models, but the M9A4 uses a trigger bar similar to that of the Beretta 92X Performance. It's a short reset trigger bar, and the reset on the M9A4 is noticeably shorter on the M9A4 than on the M9A3.

Love me some Beretta!! I absolutely love that platform. I have the A3 and A4 and 3 other models and I absolutely love them, so I guess you can say I’m a sucker for Berettas😂.

Is there an appreciable difference between the A3 and A4 for someone who doesn't plan on running a red dot in your opinion?

I wish there was an easy answer. In my personal opinion and experience NO there isn’t,other the having the advantage of mounting a red dot on the A4. But I run both with iron sights only. But if you’ve never shot an M9 platform you definitely should get either one of these models. You are in for a treat!😁
I purchased one a few months ago. I got the right mags with mine all three came from BERETTA. It’s my everyday carry

So glad I have an Italian made M9A3 black. It's like shooting a freaking laser gun. I can understand why Beretta went back to the original decocker angle with it being decocker only with no safety.

had a beretta clone a pt92af alot of years ago was my first carry gun in my old life it saved my life i always wanted a real one
You should save up and get one. Used ones and police trade ins are pretty affordable

I’m thinking about getting one for a suppressor host.
So with the *A4 *they went backwards with the safety/ decocker and removed the higher cant. Do you know if an armorer can modify the *A4* and apply the cant?

I don’t know if the M9A4 or the Beretta 92X or XI will prove be the best system for combat. The features of the M9A4 seem to be most needed and are available now. Well Done, Beretta…
Agreed. I am very impressed with it.
mine will not easily break down. ie, the slide lock lever is impossible to turn down without using a dowel or rubber screw driver. at the gun smith now, hopefully he can figure it out. other than that I absolutely love it. shoot mostly suppressed.
Nice review! I'm debating between this and the 92X. I've heard the A4 optics mount isn't ideal and rides pretty high, so I'm wondering if it's worth just getting a 92X & using the extra money to send to Langdon Tactical. 🤔
That's a tough choice. As I like military stuff, the A4 is my choice but as a shooter, the 92X might be better
@@thetexasgunvault I carried the plain M9 in the Army for 6 years and liked it. I'm wanting a longer barrel 9mm that's DA/SA so it just seems like a good choice.
Nice comparison between the Beretta M9-A3 and the M9-A4. Are the M-3's still being made to your knowledge? Beretta makes a classic and beautifully pistol and I do believe I would like to own one of these in the future. Thanks for another good presentation.

please help i’ve picked mines up yesterday & i’ve found that mines is missing the changeable grip as well as the other packaging ? can you tell me if that is by standard or did a shop just nick extra parts ?

Good morning, Jason, you bought another gun, but why a Beretta, I know you collect guns but the only Beretta I own is a Carcano rifle. And we all know about the rifle that killed a president. But I will admit that the ammo can pistol case is really groovy. But that is where I will stop. Love your channel, seriously missing some 1911A-1 action, Cheers😅

Out of curiosity, why do you prefer the “F” model over the “G” model?
Good question. Two reasons...
1. I like guns having as many options as possible.
2. It is how the military would have wanted it.
I am a collector and I think in those terms.

I do not know. UA-cam is very anti-gun and I think makes it harder for us
