this is how you make a comparison video. no BS, no futzing about. it seems so simple yet not many seem to know how to do it like this. bravo!
Definitely your comparison and showroom videos are the best on the internet.
Now THIS is a comparison video. Wish they were all laid out like this
And he's letting the cymbals do the representation and hitting them like crash cymbals, not trying to become the next trick drummer on YT
for me - light ride, medium crash and heavy hats :3
MagneticWhistler couldn't agree more with you yes!!!!
Heavy ride, light crash and heavy hats.
light crash and heavy hi hats
It's wonderfull to have a comparison like this!
Heavy ride,Light Crash, Med Hi Hats sounded the best to me!!
Agree on all
agreed thats what i thought too that should be the players pack they dont have any packs that have this order
Thank you so much for making the best comparison video on the internet. I'm buying a whole set of these in about a month and I could not decide which ones to buy. I definitely am sure now, thanks again.
Love that light ride.
Heavy Ride, Medium Crash and Heavy Hats
FINALLY!! I found what I needed.
Those light hats are certainly quieter than heavier models, so I'm thinking of ditching
this Roland HH and getting back to a real HH.
No rubber electronic HH will ever have the range/feel of an acoustic HH in my opnion.
I just got the light hi hats… comparing to the Roland HH the acoustic light version is still way way louder… be aware…
Thanks! I did not understand a word but your demo is very helpful. Drum on!
20" Light ride could work really well as a crash.
I use it as a crash opposite to my light 18" crash and it works great!
Medium one crashes really nice too
The light cymbals sound amazing!
I like all the thins the best!
Great video.
I had a Paiste PST 7 Light Ride, very good... but I exchanged it for a Paiste PST 7 Heavy Ride, excellent.
Чётко и по делу! Спасибо, они все хороши
I just got the 20 light. can't decide on hats?? Light or medium or maybe the pst8s would go well? does anybody know??
I'm just playn whatever beats for myself.
The 18" heavy crash was a tad "Gongy" but the other 2 sounded great. That was the only one I didn't like, the rest sound great.
I agree with you about the 18" heavy crash. Weird overtones. What did you think of the Light Ride? It had no presence at all, to me.
is it still alive ?
18" thin crash could pass for a crash/ride if you needed it to get through a gig
I like the light ride and crash and the medium hats.
Annnnnnd now I want 3 rides. For no reason. haha.,
Best cymbals review I've seen so far!
Thanks a lot!
Can you do me a favor and play the 18 thin like a ride/crash.
(not a crash/ride)
Going from left to right: heavy hats, thin crash, crash, heavy crash, light ride.
Very good Side by Side comparison
Thanks for this video. I think medium weight is more versatile.
Well done, thanks! Any considerable difference in volume? (Especially for the rides)
Great comparison! Thanks!
medium by far the most versatile and musical
great video- thanks
I appreciate this video. I probably seen it 20 times and still can't decide between medium and heavy. Does anyone know which Hihat he is using in the first two tests?
Perfect comparison!! Thanks!
Great video! Thank you for this!
I heard that the formula for the PST7's is the same formula as the 2002's. Which ones would be closest to what John Bonham played??
the light crash and ride with the medium hi hats sounds great to me
Great video nicely done thanks for posting !
Loved the thin crash
IMHO - best: Light Ride, 18 "Crash", Medium HH
For me : Light Ride, Light Crash, Light Hi-Hat
I prefer the sound design and the 2002 series..😮 Anything they make it top shelf equipment....
Thank you so much for this video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
for me: light ride, 18” thin crash, and medium hats.
The names are confusing, the heavier it is the higher it gets, and the lighter it is the lower it gets.
Heavier cymbals are higher in pitch.
Perfect video
Brilliant
I’ll have one light, one medium and one heavy in each size please
Great video
Universal
Medium crash is nice. These are great value.
Medium across the board.
Good demo.
14" heavy - 18" light crash and a 20" heavy ride.
I have recently bought an 18" medium crash, and I was wondering if it was normal for it to have this sort of high tone in the backround? I'm not sure if I like that sound so much.
pst7s sound generally higher
@@aleksandarcurguz2428 Are the medium crashes good for metal
@@theonlysurvivorfromthearea7447 hmm maybe the 19medium... But I would go with 20 inch light ride for crash and 18 heavy crash
@@aleksandarcurguz2428 what about the 16 inch heavy?
@@theonlysurvivorfromthearea7447 well you can use it , but larger is better for metal
cool the heavy ride
light hi-hats is so cool
thanks
heavy hats light crashes and heavy ride
yo the heavy hats sound SOOOOOOOOO good
thin crashes are nice too
