First I would like to thank you and your family for there service. I enjoy your videos I am also a history fan. As a relatively new rider your videos help me out. So thank you. Stay Safe God Bless!
Personally I look forward to,your videos every week. While we can’t change the world, we have to do what we can to make our piece of the pie as enjoyable as possible. That means getting on the bike and doing what we love. Just came back from a motorcycle trip to Virginia and West Virginia. Made me appreciate what we have and forget about world issues for a while
I ride to relax, clear my mind, and enjoy the freedom that we have in this country. I want to thank your sons for allowing all of us to have this freedom! I hope you continue with this channel I look forward to watching these. They also help me relax and clear my mind. You do a great job of keeping it real and genuine.
Do what you want to do, and what makes you happy. I particularly enjoy watching your content. I joined the Army in 1989 for the college money and to only do one tour and leave. I left the Army in 2012 after multiple combat tours (Airborne Infantry) in Iraq and Afghanistan. The same year I retired, I talked my son out of an Army Ranger contract and took him to the Air Force where he got a great job as a Fireman. My wife was so relieved and so was I. Fast forward a few years and he was one of the last Airmen to evacuate a forward airfield in Syria, that mess. Last month I took him to the airport after he hugged his wife and kids goodbye on his current deployment to Africa. I tried to keep my nerve on the ride to the airport but i was really taken back to when I had told him and his brother and sisters goodbye so many times years before. I told him I was sorry he was going through the separation again, and wished I had taken him to the university counselor instead of the other branches recruiter. He said, “Dad, we do this for everyone else, now I know. It’s time for you to stay home and enjoy being an American. You taught me well. Oh ya, remember when you went back to Afghanistan and you told me you were going so I wouldn’t have to? Well what the hell?” My point is, get on that bike and live life. Politicians start the wars. They always will. Soldiers and families pay the price for our “freedoms “, and carry the pointless sense of not doing enough for others is quite common in Veterans and their families. You don’t owe anyone anything, and your patriotism is becoming. Your Veteran kids would tell you the same thing. The fact that you are patriotic is enough. Build your channel and keep on promoting our freedoms and your patriotism. Not doing what makes you happy as a free American would go against any sacrifices made by your sons and many others. I can tell you are very proud of your sons. I am sure they feel the same about you. Maybe associate your riding and videos with a philanthropic event or group that helps service members and their families? As far as Veterans go, we have more benefits and entitlements than any demographic in the world. We’ll be fine. Thats my opinion. There are some that may need additional help or motivation due to circumstance. Watch out for those A-holes that don’t watch out for us, and ride safe. For what it’s worth, I never lost sleep over any hardships or combat results while I was in the Army. When my son was in Syria, I had to resort to sleeping aids for the first time in my life because of the worry over what was going on and could happen. It’s not uncommon for family members, especially parents of service members, to carry some issues beyond a family member’s time in harms way. I say this because a common shared element of family members that experience symptoms of “secondary PTSD” is a feeling of not doing enough. Take care.
Wow, thank you for the kind words. I never served but having both my sons over seas I feel like I have. I never thought of it as secondary PTSD before. I also feel like military families have a bond no one else really understands. Thanks for being part of the channel. I appreciate your insights.
I think your videos are a welcome addition to the community, I can understand you feelings in these times with what we have running this country we all should be very concerned. I want to thank your sons for their sacrifice and service for this country. I don’t have any kids in the service but have worked with and have friends that have kids in the services the sad truth of it is they come back from war a different person and if they are in special operations it’s reality bad. At our age we know we only can pray things to get better and go for a ride and clear the mind, I say do what you want to do on your channel I will watch it I love the things Florida has to offer. Be safe out there the traffic is crazy down there!
I look forward to your videos every week. I find them relaxing and focused on what us " motorcycle enthusiasts" have in common not the things our governments and other authorities use to keep us divided. Up here in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada the dead centre of the continent, our riding season is too short and the weather even then isn't usually good so channels like yours keep me entertained and remind me of how much I love bikes and riding even when I can't ride myself. I get my fill of politics and other nonsense daily and need venues like this to remind me sometimes to stay focused on what really matters and there are good people everywhere. Even the ones who don't always agree with me on everything. Thank your sons for their service. As ex Canadian Infantry I know it's the soldiers, sailors and airmen who want peace the most as they are the ones who have to go do the fighting and dying. Ride safe everyone.
Honestly, I like the distraction. If I'm on my own bike or taking the time to see the sights of other riders on UA-cam, it is a nice break from the chaos of the world. I've tried to show my kids that it is ok to unplug and get away for a little bit. Quiet the noise of the world. That fort is pretty cool. Just about all of my wife's family served. 4 older brothers and one of the younger ones. Her father, grandfather, an uncle. My oldest served in the Air Force. We are fortunate that everyone made it home safe from their travels. I enjoy your videos and if you keep putting them out, I will keep watching. 🤘
As an immigrant from Honduras i love riding motorcycles since i was a kid i said to myself one I'll have one and enjoy it which now at 46 years of age and raising a family here in the beautiful state of Georgia for more that 27 years that im here in the beatiful USA, and one thing I can say that fot the freedoms we enjoy someone had to pay the highest price and sacrified a lot, love this nation, when I go back to visit Honduras I can see clearly the freedoms that those people don't have because of gangs and ignorance, so as for me and my family mt kids i teach them how great we have it here, love it and protect it and your content and videos teaches me how much sacrifice has been made to preserve this beatiful experiment in the world called America.
I just discovered your channel recently. I love your channel. I traded in my twin cam for a 2021 sgs all blacked out with only 267 miles on it. I think this is the one I’ll keep for a long time.
Well Said. Great editing. FYI - I look forward to your videos too. You're more than just entertainment. You took the time to give ME tips on how to improve my audio when I only had 59 subs. I felt a connection of Master and grasshopper. Teacher - Just not how we did it back in our day. 💪💪
HG picked up some highway pegs on your recommendation, look great, fit great. Time will tell. Carry on my friend we can't let them destroy our way of life. If we do, they win. CC
Keep riding, keep the channel, and the entertainment it provides. Yes, there are wars and fighting, and always will be until the Lord Jesus Christ makes all things new. Thank you for your time.
Social media and YT are slowly but surely a dying thing in a whole. Get good at a proper profession and learn some true work ethic and life stills. Itl get you alot further in times to come. Cheers!
I thank your children for their service to this country 🇺🇸

You can't stop it. You and I have no control over what's going on but making it a better place just doing what your doing.

St. Augustine is a beautiful city. Took my wife there a few years back and she fell in love with it 😎👍

An old biker once told me, "keep on keeping on".
Great video brother! Keep it up. Always educational, informative and fun!
