Well she said it herself in the last song. "Everyone's true colors are revealed in acts of lust." I think Odysseus is very lucky his true colors happen to remind her of whoever she was in love with rather than whoever it was who threatened her daughters before.
@@themis467agreed, it's more like sexual manipulation. Though I believe in the actual story Hermes says that Odysseus MUST go through with it or Circe will deny him his request
@@nerdbynature5190 YES, that would have been OG Circe's plan, and Hermes told Odysseus exacty what would happen, and he basically told him he would have to sleep with her, in order to free his men (and to rest a bit, which is a good plus given the situation). That is why Odysseus makes her swear that she wouldn't hurt him if they, hum, went for a more comfortable piece of forniture in Circe's home. She agrees and they go bed-testing, which is funny because first - Homerus cuts the scene with an hilarious "and I leapt on her beautiful bed" - second, after that a banquet is prepared and Odysseus is sulking, so Circe asks "why are you not eating or drinking?" and he goes "How could a man in his right mind drink and eat before freeing his comrades?"and, ODYSSEUS FOR ALL THE GOD'S SAKES, your priorities here, you just let her handmaids bath you and oil you up after a roll in the hay. All this seems to give Odysseus a pass for screwing Circe but the act is meh, a mere power struggle, not erotic in any sense of the word. The subtle way Odysseus keeps Penelope in his mind is in their exchange, when Circe says "come on OUR bed and let's make love" and Odysseus says "I'm not going into YOUR bed until you swear I'm gonna be safe". Now, he keeps Penelope on his mind at the beginning but he seems to forget with time? Since they stay there for one year and it's THE CREW who tells him "hoi, you wretched captain, if it's your destiny to go home get up and GO" and so he goes "a'right, a'right, I'm gonna ask Circe for tips". Also, this whole escapade with Circe seems to generate at least one son, Telegonus, and that wrecks total HAVOC on Odysseus' family (please do not look it up)
Yes... but given exactly when she changes her mind and how many ways she uses to control, I suspect she's also motivated by spiting Poseidon. "Poseidon, eh?" *immediately starts to help.*
I like that you emphasize that Odysseus is being coerced here. He is not a truly willing participant and his body language after he pushes away is defensive, flinching away from her touch.
There is coercion and then there is simple temptation. She put his hands on her chest. But HE started to grope her. He only pulled back at the last minute but all she did was TEMPT him. I’m tired of people trying to spin a seduction as SA when real SA is someone giving UP not giving IN. HUGE difference. He literally says he’s horny but should be loyal. That’s not SA. That’s an OFFER. Also, the second he said ‘no’ she dropped it. THATS NOT COERCION AND ITS NOT REMOTELY SA.
@@InsaneLaughter01 hey, it’s just an animatic, I was pointing out things I noticed. Also, I feel like you’re forgetting Circe was literally going to stab him, I feel like that might be something that means, hey, maybe she isn’t planning on actually following through with a sexual offer and instead is planning on literally murdering him as a last resort.
@@InsaneLaughter01I just rewatched that section of the video and am genuinely not sure how you got that from the video. He pulls away several times, she forced his hands onto her chest, he stopped fighting back for a moment with a look of horror and defeat on his face, then threw himself away from her. He made it pretty obvious he didn’t want to get sexual with her, but she quite literally forced his hands. I didn’t see any of the continued “groping” you mention; but even if I somehow missed it, considering the before and after context, it seems pretty obvious that it would only be done in an attempt to concede to and please the one clearly in power of the situation. To go on a rant about people calling something SA, under a comment where SA isn’t even explicitly mentioned….seems kind of like you’re looking for a reason to gatekeep? I don’t pretend to know your story, but I don’t see a reason to make an argument of it here.
@@InsaneLaughter01I'm sorry, but forcing someone to touch your breasts is SA. It does not matter if she doesn't succeed the first few times, and she only succeeded in doing so by sitting down and using the motion to force his hands because he was resistant. Imagine if Odysseus repeatedly forced Circe to touch his penis. That would be considered SA and if we treat the genders equally, this would be SA. It doesn't matter if he's "willing" later, just as it wouldn't matter if Odysseus did what she did and had her eventually accept his attempts to touch her or something after repeatingly telling him to stop. If the participant is unwilling at all at the beginning of the encounter, or in the middle of it, it is SA and sometimes rape. You back off the moment they tell you no. It's why you can't repeatedly ask a woman for sex and have it be "okay" once you succeed. It would still be coercion. Simple temptation would be telling Odysseus that he could and then, idk dancing around him or something. Or simply backing off at the beginning once he refuses or having him not resist until the end, when her realizes what he's about to do. He was actively trying to pull away from her but she was persistent. You're whole argument feels like you're angry at the world and men for acknowledging men can be victims too. I don't know if that's your intention, but it's how it's making me feel.
I LOVE how even when she's being helpful there's these *little* tiny hints about just how utterly inhuman and dangerous she is. Like the flash of her face before she does her MAGNIFICENT twirl and changes his men back. I also LOVE how all of the gods and other god adjacent creatures get those void like faces. Like their divinity truly is something horrific to behold and is practically beyond incomprehension. IM LIVING FOR THIS ANIMATICS.
Oh yes! She is very dangerous and Odysseus was lucky to gain her favor. Her other lovers did not end well :D Her ability to change others into animals is further highlighted by the story of Picus, an Italian king whom she turns into a woodpecker for resisting her advances. Another story tells of her falling in love with the sea-god Glaucus, who prefers the nymph Scylla to her. In revenge, Circe poisoned the water where her rival bathed and turned her into a dreadful monster!
SO COOL!! I love your Circe so much, she definitely fits with the musical interpretation of her character, being like a protective mother and a badass femme fatale. Not only with her design, but the way you animate her movements and expressions too! So amazing omg
There's one extra layer to Circe's change of heart that people might not immediately think about. Obviously she's moved by the fact he wants to remain faithful to his wife even after 12 years apart, but whats arguably even more impressive is that he confronted a minor Goddess to save his men, despite having so much to live for himself. Add onto that the fact that he's clearly knows first hand how cruel a god can be if you cross them, and his choice to risk it all instead of run becomes insanely admirable.
I love that shot where she's holding the knife behind her back and her fingers twitch like she considered to help but then thought better of it before ultimately deciding that she doesn't need to be the monster. I also like that moment where Odysseus can see the knife and realizes that he was at her mercy and keeps his guard up before realizing she would help.
To be fair to Odysseus, she did phrase that offer in a pretty ominous way at first. "I'll send you to the Underworld" sounds kind of threatening until you get some context!
Yeah, going to underworld cant be simple task and can result in more casualties. But Circe won either way. Even if they get out of underworld (which they did), they wont bother her or her nymphs again.
@@Lady_Sinclair I mean it could be both, I personally wouldn't be happy at all if I had to fight a damned goddess and endure her seduction to save some dumbasses, and then be told in the most condecending and eerie way that I have to go to the fucking underworld JUST to get the chance to ask what the heck I need to do to avoid ANOTHER, MORE POWERFUL god, Circe basically hit Oddy with the "sorry, but the princess is in another castle"
I love how you showed the expressions in circe understanding that this is a good man and deserving to live, he didn't fail her test and she respected him for that
Also really liked how her lifting her hair into a ponytail reveals her siren ears which also serves to show she's being open with them rather than hiding her secrets.
@@jasonsmith6219 This is a great scene! I like how it shows Circe's lineage, after all, she is not only the daughter of Helios, the sun god, but also Oceanid nymph Perse. Such a family! Her brothers were Aeëtes, keeper of the Golden Fleece and father of witch Medea. Her sister was Pasiphaë, the wife of King Minos and mother of the Minotaur! :D I wonder why Perse bore Helios, the source of all light, such dark and mysterious children!
3:18 love that you only start showing the men transforming when the chorus comes in. Furthering Jorge idea that BGV can only happen when there are other people to sing them. Also matching the lyrics “so much power” to the men feeling the magic of the transformation, and then singing the lines they were singing before they became pigs “no she’s not a player she’s a puppeteer”
I always dig how the colors get used to highlight things that are more blatantly supernatural, like Circe letting the more humanlike mask slip when discussing guiding them to the Underworld (and I still dig how her hair waves like she's floating underwater even when she's not) or the glimpse of it before going full color in the final spinning magic. (also the half frame shot of Circe with a somewhat suspicious grin while all the soldiers seem blissfully happy isn't ominous or anything). And you didn't have to, but that dip down below the island to Poseidon's fucking creepy ass horse eyes really hammers in how basically Odysseus has no way to get home EXCEPT travelling on something that is out to kill him and just *waiting* for him to step off land to finish the job. And I noted in the WIP, but again, that clench as Circe draws Odysseus in for the backstab is simultaneously both really hot and sensual and also deeply uncomfortable at the same time. The freaking leg lift and Circe's hand gripping the back of his tunic are just choice in that shot. It's darkly ironic that Circe is genuinely trying to help here by sending Odysseus to Tiresias because he showed his kinder side and she responded in turn, but the lesson Odysseus will end up taking from THAT encounter is "I should've been more ruthless, like Circe." Circe: Motherfucker, that was the exact opposite of what I was trying to say. Tiresias: Fate be doing a little trolling, it seems.
lol exactly! Circe: Maybe sharing one act of kindness leads to kinder souls down the road. Odysseus: Oh, so you mean ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves?
@@moonchild4648 Circe: Maybe one act of kindness will lead to kinder souls down the road. Odysseus: Got it. Eurylocus, light six torches. Circe: Wait, what-
The thing that makes Odysseus cry? Oh it's not his men dying in droves, them being viciously slaughtered or turned to pigs. It's the thought of betraying Penelope out of weakness. Truly an idol. What a guy. I really love how you made him seem genuinely distraught by the thought cheating on her/ never getting to see her again. Great work, fantastic animation
Being loyal doesn’t require strength though. Just basic manners. And in the real story, He knocks up Circe with glee because he thinks she AND the kid cannot follow him back to ithica.

@@wiilov It's a fucking musical about a greek myth, not an anime with power scalling, people love her because her songs are some of the best in EPIC and she is somewhat of a charming character and also the most important force in her own saga, it's not so much of a "who is a better character" it's more of a "who is done the best musically speaking"
..Circe looks and sounds so *elated* to have a decent reason to undo her magic. God, the way she spins and swirls the magic around her as the music swells into a positive beat, aaahhh! You captured it beautifully!

"Poseidon, eh?" *immediately starts to help.* Given exactly when she changes her mind and how many ways she uses to control, even singing about it after switching to helping, I suspect she's also motivated by spiting Poseidon. I think I remember that he did something unpleasant to her lover, although I can't remember what. If that's the case, this doesn't have to be mercy. It could be about thwarting an overwhelming enemy in a way which doesn't risk him actually moving against her.
Obsessed with how uncomfortable and tormented Odysseus looks in this. especially 1:07 when he pushes himself off of her and looks like he's going to be sick
I can’t say how much I adore the scene of Odysseus noticing the dagger Circe left behind. The reflection and realization is immaculate. I love that detail so much.
I do like your interpretation that Circe's proposition is more rebalancing power since Odysseus had surprised her in a more direct confrontation, but Odysseus finding a line he won't cross even when it seems he has no other way forward (betraying Penelope) reveals his character in a way Circe wasn't expecting. I gotta say I really vibe with how Epic's humanized Circe as a deadly but ultimately not cruel enchantress, and one who finds some fellow-feeling with Odysseus as someone with people to protect and powerful enemies. (Makes me wonder if she sees a less world-weary version of herself in Odysseus, and if she'd be saddened to know he ultimately goes down the same path she did because of what he saw in the underworld!) Also poor li'l nymph. Don't worry, kiddo, I'm sure Circe will find you another pet soon. :(
I do like this version a bit better since in the orignal myth he just straight up went for it. It still paid off but this is a lot more impactful, that even with a beautiful actual goddess telling him he needs to do her if he wants to leave, he still refuses for his wife. And thats all she needs to see to trust him
I mean in the Original, the only reason he immediately went into it because Hermes told him that if he denied Circe's request he'd never get his men back-- so he had to by force. He wanted it to be quick and over with 😭✋🏾 he had no attraction to her whatsoever
@@SIMPLY_GJ He had no attraction whatsoever is a bit of a 'eeeeh'. He obviously did. It is physically impossible to be straight and male and not have a physical attraction to an actual goddessnymph - that is simply how it is. But normally his love for his wife would win out. He would do what he found right. He didn't because he wanted his men alive.
i love how because these are normally not coloured in, everytime color does appear you know it related to deities and hits like a big wave! (pun intended)
I've gotta say the inverted black and white and 0:53 was a great choice for the scene; it really emphasizes how close Odysseus was to falling for her trap. Had he been a weaker man, Circe would have killed him, and she was just a second away from it.
Also I like how INTENSE the events of this version are. Circe laying her seductiveness on really thick and intent to kill, Odysseus' tears, Circe's scary-looking form when she brings up the underworld and then fading back to her normal form at 2:16. It's hard to put it into words but the characters feel very conscious and have so much personality.
What’s with people acting like fidelity requires ‘strength’. It’s not a disorder or curse. It’s basic respect. If you ‘struggle’ with loyalty, you should be eternally single.
@@InsaneLaughter01 Most of the time, yeah. But it’s not like Ody’s considering doing it with Circe because he’s can’t resist beautiful women or whatever. The part that requires strength is refusing comfort (sex) that would distract him from killing a baby, the death of his loved ones, not seeing his family in 13 years, etc. Having said that, I have no sympathy for cheaters in general. I would certainly like Odysseus much less if he had given in and slept with Circe.
Tbf in the Original book he sleeps with ehr, And calypso.. Calypso is VERY dubcon, imo, i mena... You know she's..herself. @@InsaneLaughter01 I'd agree with you in normal circumstances but Odysseus hasn't seen his wife in TWELVE YEARS. Yeah, it gets a little hard to resist a woman practically throwing herself at you when it's been THAT long since you've recieved a shred of intimacy.
1:56 Man… you can just see in his eyes how he just wants to go home and didn’t want any of this. He couldn’t bring himself to do it, and seems so tormented and tortured…
The colour inversion in the moments before Odysseus snapping away seems to suggest that Circe was using her magical influence as well, which I love because not only is it so in character, it was also kind of foreshadowed in hermes’s song talking about her magical powers including turning people to animals, making them fall in love
I love how Odysseus noticed the dagger and had a little moment of "oh she was still totally planning to kill me", such a good bit! I love her big shadowy monster frame, it looks so cool!
I really like this depiction of Odysseus here. In other animatics, most show him as either nonchalant and uncaring or only showing him missing his wife but seems more calculated. One example I can think of being Gigi’s animatic, where even if it was great, Odysseus acted more carefree and clever to convince Circe. Though I do like more how this animatic showed Odysseus actually growing through his emotions while still trying to convince Circe. He literally witnessed his entire fleet of men die in front of him, he now has to rescue more of his men, he is thinking about how much he misses his wife and wanting to go home, and especially with the 70 men who died with the cyclops, Odysseus would most likely at that point start feeling extremely emotional at that moment. I do understand why people make him more calculated here, though I feel like at some point the man would break down. Especially if he broke down for killing a baby that looked like his son. Even if he went through a war, losing loved ones is tough. So this animatic would probably be how I imagine this scene in the Circe Saga.
I love the added detail of Odysseus not only crying, but he stares at the knife with angry tears. It's him enraged but I'm assuming he doesn't want to fight anymore.
THE WAY SHE FRIGING WIPES HIS TEARS I CAAANT Also, I believe no other animator has emphasized this yet: Circe has a Sun symbol on her dress cuz she's Helios's kid, that's BRILLIANT
Oh this is so frigging beautiful! I love how you portrayed the back and forth between Circe and Odysseus, especially with him nearly giving in only to come to his senses so suddenly!
The way he looks up at her at 1:58 he looks like a lost little puppy you just want to cuddle. I couldn't stop myself from going awww~🥺🥺🥺 You are so awesome your depiction of the story is so well done, such great detail and such wonderful art!❤
@@metrohighlights3053 In Flama's video about Done For, when Cerce sings "the last time we let strangers in we faced a heavy loss" she depicts four nymphs not three. There the fourth older nymph has a bracelet that looks exactly like Circes headband.
I like that you don't have Odysseus smile when he recovers his men. He still doesn't fully trust Circe, especially when she implies in her song there might be another puppeteer needed to take action. Adds weight and a certain foreshadow.
Getting Poseidon vibes from Circe... Or maybe all gods like to manhandle Odysseus? Did you rotoscope yourself doing the movements or something? Love everything about this ❤Ody thoroughly creeped out, Circe barely containing her murderous fury at having to stoop so low, until he draws away all big-eyed and vulnerable like some anime ingenue and she goes 'awww he ain't so bad ok you can stop crying I'm putting the boobs away now'. I SCREAMED when I got the notif I swearrrr Their expressions are incredible, the hints of Circe's literal inhumanity, how you made it clear that NEITHER of them wanted this to go the way it was going, Odysseus noticing the dagger and then getting fixated on it before realizing what Circe really means (because lbr "I'll send you to the Underworld" is a VERY ominous sentence), Circe's god-eyes being the only ones with pupils even if they're odd bc she's part human, the COLORSSSS!! I knew you'd knock it out of the ballpark because you always do, but you surpassed yourself!!
THE LITTLE NYPH WITH THE PIG!!! THE PIGS LOOK SO FREAKING CUTE AND THAT MIRROR SCENE WHERE SHES LIKE, “I GET YOU TO THE UNDERWORLD INSTEAD” IS JUST SO TASTY AND EPIC AND NOMNOMNOM
I love how Odysseus while almost falling shows a done with this face, a disappointment face and also a regretful face when he almost falls but when he picks himself up it’s only the first face. Like he’s truly done with the thought of lustful temptation when he pulls away.
0:43 I can’t stop replaying this part; it’s just SUCH a good visual representation of manipulation through intimacy! And it’s so damn smooth and just matches up perfectly with the song itself. Honestly it’s one of the best shots in the whole damn thing and I’ve been looking forward to seeing this shot again since the WIP!
It’s really awesome how you tied it back to Circe’s original life as an ocean nymph in her true form! You don’t typically see that much detail and loyalty to the original myths in animatics and it’s awesome that you went ahead and included the mythology
AHHHHHH absolutely loved this, first with it Odysseus obviously being very confused and uncomfortable, then understanding the meaning, also love Circe trying to convince him, the little rock and back motion was also very smooth, the colours blacking as soon as Circe is about to stab him was a great choice, then him pushing away, BTW I fucking love the little lip sync you did with "My Penelope" also saw in one of your previous posts that you technically don't have a design for Pen which is fair, but I just love that sequence, absolutely loved Circe typing up her hair and drying away Odysseus's tears, then the whole sequence was incredible, with the pigs slowly turning back into men (love the little nymph that cried because one of the pigs were taken away) just absolutely loved the vibes here and it might be my 2nd favourite of your Epic animatics
The "un-der-world" bit with the instrumental change is so nice and for some reason makes my brain feel happy and I'm not sure why. The way you animate her during it is amazing.
I love this one SO much man. 1, the portrayal of Circe is so fucking cool, and different than what I’ve been seeing in animatics/animations! And also 2, I just love the idea of Ody being 2 seconds from caving to Circe and then just bursting into tears like “MY WIIIFEEE.. I MISS MY WIIIFEEEEE” meanwhile Circe is standing there, staring at him like :| Also also.. him just being a pouty, teary eyed little guy while she’s telling him how she’ll help him
0:44 It feels so much like a physical and emotional swing at the same time. Wow, how harmonious it looks!! 1:16 - 1:50 My heart was literally trampled by these moments - Odysseus is literally in despair, crying in front of Circe. Circe can barely believe him, she seems to want to, but she seems to be sitting with a sullen face, although she gives up in the end. Although we remember perfectly well what the men did when Circe trusted them - they harmed Circe's assistants. The mysterious eyes of Poseidon and Penelope, who is embroidering a carpet. Honey, you've painted everything so beautifully and harmoniously, wow!! 1:53 This look literally speaks about all the experiences of Circe, which gradually disappeared from her soul: "This man can be trusted, because he really speaks with love. And the tears are real. I can finally relax a little bit!" 2:49 Circe is an incredible sunshine!! She puts her hair in a ponytail, which, I think, literally means that she feels safe, strokes Odysseus' cheeks to wipe away tears. 2:54 - 2:58 This is a peephole paradise, I tell you, art lovers, this is a peephole paradise! 3:02 - 3:09 Circe's look at the nymph is like: "Honey, I'm sorry, it looks like this case is good and kind people got caught, so give me the pig" 😭💘 3:15 That was the last blow right to the heart! Incredibly beautiful and pastel colors, Circe who circles, pigs who become men again - this is something cosmic and incredible. I can't even imagine how long you've been mounting this!

Boy was quite literally being se*ually assualted and that just makes me feel so bad.

Also matching the lyrics “so much power” to the men feeling the magic of the transformation, and then singing the lines they were singing before they became pigs “no she’s not a player she’s a puppeteer”
I sincerely didn’t catch that they were still singing the lyrics there were singing as they were transformed, god that is a BRILLIANT touch!
It's darkly ironic that Circe is genuinely trying to help here by sending Odysseus to Tiresias because he showed his kinder side and she responded in turn, but the lesson Odysseus will end up taking from THAT encounter is "I should've been more ruthless, like Circe."
Circe: Motherfucker, that was the exact opposite of what I was trying to say.

(Makes me wonder if she sees a less world-weary version of herself in Odysseus, and if she'd be saddened to know he ultimately goes down the same path she did because of what he saw in the underworld!)
Also poor li'l nymph.

AHHHHHH absolutely loved this, first with it Odysseus obviously being very confused and uncomfortable, then understanding the meaning, also love Circe trying to convince him, the little rock and back motion was also very smooth, the colours blacking as soon as Circe is about to stab him was a great choice, then him pushing away, BTW I fucking love the little lip sync you did with "My Penelope" also saw in one of your previous posts that you technically don't have a design for Pen which is fair, but I just love that sequence, absolutely loved Circe typing up her hair and drying away Odysseus's tears, then the whole sequence was incredible, with the pigs slowly turning back into men (love the little nymph that cried because one of the pigs were taken away) just absolutely loved the vibes here and it might be my 2nd favourite of your Epic animatics
circe: *grabs pig from child*
child: *WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
circe: *danceing away while singing"
The ultimate big sis move
The "un-der-world" bit with the instrumental change is so nice and for some reason makes my brain feel happy and I'm not sure why. The way you animate her during it is amazing.
I love this one SO much man. 1, the portrayal of Circe is so fucking cool, and different than what I’ve been seeing in animatics/animations! And also 2, I just love the idea of Ody being 2 seconds from caving to Circe and then just bursting into tears like “MY WIIIFEEE.. I MISS MY WIIIFEEEEE” meanwhile Circe is standing there, staring at him like :|
Also also.. him just being a pouty, teary eyed little guy while she’s telling him how she’ll help him
I love how adorable and sad Odysseus looks in this really shows the emotion. I mean just look at that face at 2:32
0:44 It feels so much like a physical and emotional swing at the same time. Wow, how harmonious it looks!!
1:16 - 1:50
My heart was literally trampled by these moments - Odysseus is literally in despair, crying in front of Circe.
1:53
This look literally speaks about all the experiences of Circe, which gradually disappeared from her soul: "This man can be trusted, because he really speaks with love. And the tears are real. I can finally relax a little bit!"
2:49
Circe is an incredible sunshine!! She puts her hair in a ponytail, which, I think, literally means that she feels safe, strokes Odysseus' cheeks to wipe away tears.
2:54 - 2:58
This is a peephole paradise, I tell you, art lovers, this is a peephole paradise!
3:02 - 3:09
Circe's look at the nymph is like: "Honey, I'm sorry, it looks like this case is good and kind people got caught, so give me the pig" 😭💘
3:15
That was the last blow right to the heart! Incredibly beautiful and pastel colors, Circe who circles, pigs who become men again - this is something cosmic and incredible. I can't even imagine how long you've been mounting this!
This animation is incredibly beautiful, smooth and wonderful! The explosive boom of pink, orange and yellow flowers at the end was a pleasant surprise. Cry Odysseus, Circe, who trusted him and turned the pigs back into men, just everything is at the highest level. Thank you very much, really, thank you, your animations on the Epic are a masterpiece, I really look forward to continuing your animations on the musical! Thank you for you and for your vision of the characters! 🎉
Thank so much!!! 😭💜💜
*Odysseus looks Soo ADORABLE with those puppy dog eyes of his and I can't help but imagine Circe thinks the same*
I love how aloof she was and first, then turned compassionate, the wiping Odysseus' tears was heart-warming
Wiping his tears is just wholesome and is kinda the sweetest thing that he could have experienced after all this yeara
Can we talk about how Odysseus is trying SO HARD to keep eye contact lol
I love how Odysseus is tempted, but his loyalty and love for his wife outweigh everything else - he really is just a man, but Penelope and Telemachus are the only things he wishes return to
Odysseus is a wife guy, his most important personality trait is that he loves his wife. Amazing
