I feel like so many people forget that bit. Like she's been alone for decades, likely centuries at this point. If I were her I'd latch onto anyone who turned up to an unhealthy degree too. She's a very disliked character, which is valid, but she's not evil the way people seem to think she is. Just lonely, desperate, and probably a little unhinged
@Nyx_404 can I ask, are you referring of the myth or to Epic specifically? My understanding of the myth is that Odysseus was a okay with cheating on Penelope and I don't think there's any indication that he was pressured into his relationship with either Circe or Calypso (I haven't read a faithful translating of the Odyssey though so I may be wrong there) And then in Epic there is no indication that they slept together att all, consensually or otherwise. I know she says they'll climb into bed, but her saying she wants that doesn't mean it happened. Ody's suicidal issues are all related to guilt from the deaths of his loved ones, nothing about Calypso outside of her keeping him trapped (which again, is a valid reason to dislike her, but also Ody killed a baby and sacrificed his crew and people still love him so comparatively speaking trapping someone on an tropical island isn't that bad)
I can't get over the fact that Ody is screaming for his last friend alive...and the way you portrayed that is just so heartbreaking. Him still holding his sword towards Calypso to push her back but then letting it go as his will to live is slowly but surely fading away
Omg, the way the spirits are pushing him towards the light, and then disappearing into it like they’re telling him to jump, and join them?? This is so good 😭
@@red_tomato_22753 You can see the ghost of either polites or eurylochus place a flat palmed hand on his back indicating they were pushing him forward, but his mother seems to hold onto his arm trying to hold him back
I kinda like the idea of the people he's grieving for is pushing him closer to the edge but his mom. It kinda looks like his mom is trying to pull him back, maybe im just overthinking it but it kind looks like the mom is trying to pull him away from the ledge
The mom just thinking "Now son I really liked that Penelope girl and I know you do to so I'm going to count to three and you will get away from that edge and back to Penelope."
3:46 Odysseus screaming, then calling for Athena is even more heartbreaking when you realize this is his FIRST time asking, no, SCREAMING for Athena to help him, not even knowing if she was listening. Why...? The mentor that appeared to him randomly one day, whose help he joyously accepted, yet NEVER requested, left him 10 years ago... Everyone he ever loved, he could ONLY remember now... The friends he was told to keep close were no more... The one who taught him "Ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves" killed 550 of his men, after his son killed seven, Scylla devouring six more, with the king of the Greek gods killing the rest, then leaving Odysseus to drown alone... And now, trapped for 7 years on an island with a (BATCRAP CRAZY) woman he does not love, not even knowing if Penelope and Telemachus were still ALIVE (his mother in the Underworld was a surprise for EVERYONE, what of his son and wife?), what is Odysseus left with? Nothing but his broken heart, mind, and spirit resounding in a single word... "ATHENA!!!"
I loved that angle in the beginning how we see Calypso from the angle Odysseus is laying, seeing her as she lies down next to the viewer being the first up vlose shot we get is a really cool way to get us into Odys head space! I also really liked how she looked almost....strained/apologetic when she mentioned how nobody can come or go. Like, "its how it is lets both ignore how bad it sucks and take comfort in each other", which isnt an UNreasonable conclusion she just leaps to it so quickly and obviously doesnt take no for an answer. The idea that shes been building up this domestic little fantasy in her head while he was unconscious in the beginning, bandaging his wounds, cleaning his clothes, being physically close to him and acting cutsey as he awakes to leave an impression of comfort and gratitude, and then the eage she mustve felt at that fantasy being shattered when he mentioned his wife. It feels like she was really imagining hed respond with something like "no one important" while staring awestruck at her beauty, like she had the scene built up in her head. Ive never really thought of it like that until this animatic but i think its makes sense. Incredible work as always!
When I first heard the song I always imagine a beautiful girl with a black dress but instead of legs she has six heads, snakeheads to be precise, and she would be sitting underwater while her heads did the work, rarely showing her face
OK, THIS IS SO GOOD! I love odysseus's eyes when he says, "I know." And then Calypso bandaged him up, her rage when he said, "She's my wife." him actually hidding from Calypso and her always finding him. The room where she wants to make love to him being in color and everything around it being gray. The transition between Calypso and Polites when they say open arms. Odysseus whipign the water off his face and hair and finally, everyone grabbing at Odysseus and that panel when he says "all i hear are screams" at 3:24 before odysseus says Athena LOOKS AMAZING!!😆
I love how you showed Calypso, popping up whenever Odyssey's is just trying to get away from her. Then sad part, how Odysseus is leaving the bedroom that he's been forced into for 7 years and finally having his breakdown. Calypso is trying to get near him, and part of the cliff breaking! Then showing everyone either pushing or pulling him from the cliff, amazing!
i loved how you made the island feel/look settled, like people (or ya know, a goddess) actually live there and have for a long time. i also appreciate that Calypso didn't just leave him lying there lol; she treated his wounds and cleaned his clothes. this is the first animatic i've seen with either of these aspects, fantastic work!
@@Kirbydude-zb7gvI think Aeolus was either male or non specified in the odyssey, so in epic she's either been genderbent into a girl or is nonbinary, idk for sure.
Things I love about this animatic: The designs (I won’t elaborate on this one cause I could go on for days o how much i lovelovelove Duvetbox’s designs.) Calypso: She has so much personality in this, like the scene where she splashed him at the start, and she also seems so self-aware. In a lot of animatics (which I love but) she either brushes off how she is literally imprisoning Odysseus or is completely oblivious to it aside from the goddess scene, but in this she seems aware that she’s hurting him, she just doesn’t care. The ledge scene. The way he pulled out the sword? I’ve never seen anyone do that and it hadn’t crossed my mind, but after all the trauma he’s endured “fight or flight” response is to be expected, and honestly after everything fight seems the most natural thing. And the way he is utterly dead inside at the start? The way the expressions were drawn was outstanding. The Polites trigger was timed so perfectly and the way they were all trying to drag him down with them is so realistic, because Odysseus would think they resent him and WANT to see him fall since he caused their deaths. How he pushes them away just to call for his mentor? I love it, the whole scene is by far my favourite depiction. The transitions in the time dive. Athena’s short hair. THE HAIR I LOVE THIS ATHENA DESIGN SO MUCH Literally everything🤍🤍
1000%. I interpreted it as her caring but not wanting the alternative so shes forcing herself to keep him here. Cause the alternative is more loneliness
Calypso isn't imprisoning Ody, it's Zeus's curse that won't let either of them leave. It takes like 7 years and god intervention to get Ody off her island, again because of Zeus. When I think it was Hermes comes to get him, Calypso is disappointed but lets him go without any drama.
@madame.rosier uh it's possible you may be mixing Calypso up with someone else, Calypso is like the one non malicious person Odysseus meets in the entire story xD
She is just seeing the student she saw grow all his life, who life was basically destroyed by her people, the same student she abandoned and literally ranted about how he was a *waste* of her time cry and call for her help in the most desperate moment she has ever see him be. I'm surprised she didn't broke into tears
Thank you for actually making Calypso feel like a scary predator, because oh my God her lyrics and the whole situation portray that. Very good! Poor Ody :( Absolutely my favourite animatic for this song.
She is technically a sexual predator to every person that washes up on her aisle except fir when the gods like hermes and hephaestus come to say hi and stuff. Because she is like billions of years old and the people that wash up on her aisle are at their mid 30-40s MAX. The age difference is truly terrifying
2:22 - Now this is interesting. She looks genuinely sad here when saying that it's impossible to leave or arrive. And since we know she's been trapped on that island for years, then as Athena said, "time can take a heavy toll".. Also, as already known from you, the drapery is amazing here lmao. Sometimes I wished I could legit wear some of those capes lol. Amazing work, Duvetbox! Have a good day :>
It’s also interesting that no matter how bad things got he didn’t even try to call her. This moment is so much him literally on the brink. At his darkest moment he calls out for her
I see it as being both. I think one of the greatest features of the musical is how it depicts the relation between mortals and gods as a mix of friendship, terror and utter devotion, as a polytheistic pantheon should be depicted.
OMG THIS IS AMAZINGGGG!! I love how we actually see Calypso's reaction to Odysseus calling for Athena because it always weighed on mind since the release like WHAT WAS HER REACTION HER EXPRESSION TO ODY DOING THAT?? And this captured what I thought she'd react so well!!
3:18 you know you're a bad person when you see a man in the middle of an emotional crisis and all you can think is how hot he is.... Is this how calipso felt??
2:20 I love how you reminded us to sympathize with Calypso with her facial expressions, since she was also unfairly kept captive. Kind of like she was saying “Hey, I know it’s sucks but I don’t make the rules here, oh well.”
the madness in odysseus' eyes? the subtle insanity in calypso? and the ghosts pushing him to the edge? i love this interpretation so much, one of the most memorable cliff scenes from all the animatics i've seen
This was amazing!!!! The colours, the movements, the designs, and the facial expressions were all gorgeous! I was telling my girlfriend a while ago that I wish I could animate so I could make an animatic where Odysseus saw Politesse instead of Calypso when she said "stay in my open arms" ( 3:33 ) AND YOU DID IT!! She sent it to me just now and I'm so happy!!
Gonna rant rq, I love this. Calypso's design is like, both really cute, while also being kind of creepy with how obsessive she looks at times. I like the brief moment when she says no one can leave the island where she looks upset. -She- cant leave the island either, Im pretty sure shes cursed to be there forever. Pretty sure thats mentioned in the OG myth, as well as in a later song. I REALLY like how Athena pulls out a scroll with art depicting Ody's life. I love it when people reference the Goddess of the Arts aspect of her. I wanna do something like that too myself. Sidenote, while her appearence is very brief I love your Scylla design, very awesome. The last scene was extremely beautiful, while also pretty dark. Overall a fantastic animatic, one of my favorites of yours while almost definitely my favorite Love in Paradise animatic
I love how unhinged Calypso looks half of the time. Also WOW the emotions on Odysseus' face. Especially from 3:17 to the end it's absolutely BREATHTAKING.
This was amazing! I loved the somewhat crazed look in Calypso's eyes. It really highlighted how this is a woman who has been alone for so long and finally has someone that she truly wants to keep with her.
I love when Athena says for seven years he's been there it showed Ody blocking Calypso's lips on her tapestry/scroll! It really shows that she's aggressively demanding while Odysseus is keeping a stern but safe distance! And the spirits!? It was so conflicting like some were pushing him and others were pulling him back! Such a great way to show his own mindset and break down!
I love how you showed how selfish and possessive Calypso is and how she held him captive. So many others made her out to be “sweet, naive, and innocent.” When in the book she literally Rs him for seven years and he hates everything about being there and let’s all his depression and regrets finally consume him completely where he either begs for Athena or Ends it himself. This was a master piece
I think this is my favorite depiction of Calypso because she is trapped as much as he is. I love him pointing the sword at her and everything. Keep up the good work!
Probably looking to much into it. But I absolutely love that the souls are *PUSHING* him to take the jump. Rather then the reinforcement or the haunt they are typically shown to be. Just the idea that Odysseus here's these things and truly believes he must jump because its such a terrible memory it physically moves him to commit the sewer slide. Only really breaking it when he over powers the deep sorrow and calls for the only person he thinks can still hear him. Its tough and is just magnificent. And as typical another fantastic animatic that I think is just the standard of what people should be watching on their Epic watches.
OH MY GOSH. THERE'S SO MUCH HERE THAT'S...well... EPIC SKDFHSKDFHKDSHFD. I LOVE HOW UNHINGED AND POWERFUL CALYPSO LOOKS- AND YOUR CHARACTER DESIGNS ARE ALWAYS SO STUNNING!! ALSO WHEN IT GOES "Time takes a heavy toll" AT 2:46, IT PANS TO CALYPSO- WHICH HAS SO MANY MEANINGS ASDFHADSFKJH I LOVE IT- TIME HAS HURT HER, AND HER TIME WITH ODYSSEUS HURTS H I M (Anyway I'l go back to fangirling quietly :)
Might I just say, when he yelled out for Athena, that was amazing! Also, calypso trying to not lose it when she realized the only man sent to her island where she was kept alone was already spoken for and one of the most damned loyal men to ever walk the earth. A guy literally willing to fight gods and all the fates to return home….
My first thought upon seeing this on my feed was "Sweet, time to see how Duvetbox portrays the second half!" My second thought was "Heheh Circe go magic whoosh." Another great animatic.
0:37 SHES THE TONGUE!!! I LOVE THIS! so good!! Ody's eyes lighting up at "i know" omg Calypso about to have a breakdown at hearing he has a wife lol The ghosts pushing him towards the edge!!!!! Athenas lip scar!!! This is so good! Love this take
You did an amazing job on this! Your scylla looks scary cool! Love the design for the underworld prophet. And how the scroll is just burnt at 0:53. I loved how you gave Calypso a palace. The lighting and colors look amazing!
Ohhh having Athena viewing Odysseus' journey as one long continuous scroll of information, I love the swirling visual and it feels more natural than, say, a screen like shes on the uss enterprise or something. and it ending with a literal ragged, scorched edge where zeus used the thunderbolt is just *chef's kiss*. I love your calypso design, shes so cute but she immediately has like NO personal space or boundaries and theres always something just a little off with her expressions (the eyes feeling unnaturally wide and pupils too small, i think?) that makes you feel SO unnerved. Your expressions and body language continue to be phenomenal across all characters, and the ghosts clinging to Odysseus and urging him towards the cliff is SUCH a nice touch. Never seen a version of this were he pulls a sword on Calypso at the cliff either, its an interesting variation. I really do love your artstyle, its so angular with such fun shapes and tapering; my brain is telling me that if I could eat it it would taste like starfruit, for some reason??
THANK YOU FOR ACTUALLY MAKING HER CREEPY AND CLINGY 😭 that sounds so weird when i say it outloud BUT THANK U bc everyone makes us sympathize with her and she’s rather forceful but soft?? Here she’s a bit more rough with her advances bc she can bc she’s a god and can get what she wants. She’s supposed to be yet another adversary in Ody’s roster 😭 Also I appreciate that she’s not hugging him in the end bit either and instead of hugging him as if she cares and understands his pain and boundaries, she’s just calling him back in to forget abt it like he’s some robot or a dog. Ooh I love this animatic sm and the visuals are outstanding!
To be fair, Calypso has been stuck on that island completely alone for thousands of years. She finally gets a companion, it only makes sense that she is obsessive. For all she knows he will be the last person she will see for all eternity. So she tries to drown him in pleasure and joy, either to satisfy her own needs or in some attempt to try and keep him too happy to leave. After all, he can leave at any time, but she is stuck forever.
Things I noticed/love: - Odysseus getting so bored and exhausted of Calypso - Urgency in her expression when she says 'under my spell we're stuck in paradise' - The motion of him sweeping the spirits away from him at 3:54
Amazing! I love how you animate the eyes, so much emotions in them! And your Calypso is so creepy at times, how easily she just ignores Odysseus's boundaries because he's little more than a toy to her she can play pretend with.
Omg this is amazing 😭🙏 1. I LOVEEEEE how Calypso had this look like she was delivering bad news to ody when she said "no one can come or go" bc every single depiction I've seen so far in Epic animatics hasnt portrayed that Calypso actually HATES her island and the fact that shes trapped 2. Athena marry me 😩 3. CALYPSO TRANSITIONING INTO POLITES ACTUALLY MURDERED ME 😭 it hurt so bad, but it's so good 😭😭
HOLY SHIT THAT FIRST SEQUENCE WITH THE TRANSITIONS WAS AWESOME! YOUR SCYLLA DESIGN IS SO COOL! ATHENA WITH SHORT HAIR IS SUCH A VIBE! THE LIL ANGRY MOMENT AFTER 'SHE'S MY WIFE' LOLL The scroll is such a good idea! Calypso's crazy eyes are scary man THIS IS AMAZING!

You already solidified yourself as my favorite epic artist okay you dont need to keep going THIS FUCKING HARD. I love the art style so much Odysseus just looks badass 100% of the time and your interpretation of Athena is peak i just cant stop watching your animatics. Please teach me your ways.
I really love how overbearing Calypso is shown here. She is like always by Odysseus side. Even when he tries to go away she ALWAYS finds a way to be by his side. It must be maddening to never be alone, everyone needs some kind of space for some time but never having it is so much worse. Calypso immediately running to search for Odysseus when he leaves her side shows how much she truly depends on her
MORE! I CRAVE MORE! God, your animatics are one of my favorites I LOVE your style. It carries weight and emotion and your models and the way you depict these characters are divine.
WAHHHH I COULDN'T WAIT!!! I like your artstyle so so much and I knew you gonna portray "Love in Paradise" interestingly. You have such incedreble ideas - I like how Calypso actually looks obsessive there, I like how she is concerned about Odysseus - and the ledge being so weak. I actually imagine that he didn't even notice how loose it is. I like how you portrayed Oddyseus pain, and hin keeping her away with sword. Also, I've been thinking about it a lot that I would like to see Calypsos reaction to "Athena!" because like!! it has some potential innit. And this one frame kinda feed up my hunger for it. Also I like the seeting. On side note, I love her hair :3
The “No one can come or go” line looks like it’s delivered with actual sadness, but with a twist of “How can I make him have _any_ emotion besides distaste towards me?” I’m not sure if that was intentional, but it’s how it appeared to me. Emotional manipulation would also be very on brand for her.
AHHHHH THIS IS SO INCREDIBLE I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW TO EXPRESS IT. You did a fantastic job I loved the opening sequence, Athena’s design is so awesome, and obviously the ending is so gorgeous in your style and you did such a good job portraying it. I LOVE THIS ANIMATIC SO MUCH ITS SO COOL
Your work only gets better with each release. So much I wanted someone's take on Calypso to be a bit more grandiose when revealing her true self, but you're the only one that really brings out her immortal form, really makes her stand out as not human. You have absolutely nailed every character's design in these animations in ways that no one comes close to. I cannot express how much I'm looking forward to your take on God Games, or hell, the rest of the series, tbh.
This actually broke me, them slowly pushing him along the cliff your beautiful animation it's just so good and you have quickly become one of my favourite epic animators
3:29 did you notice when calypso says open arms like polite did that’s when Odysseus remembers about his friends and mom and that’s the part I hate because calypso is just making it worse and not any better like she’s trying to
You have to remember Calypso knows nothing about Odysseus’s treasure and lost of friends, shes just trying to help and if she isnt you cant blame her because shes been alone all time, she doesnt cant understand well how to console people when shes been all alone
Your Calypso is so threatening! I love how, after Odysseus realizes how much of a threat Calypso is, she is lit by a harsh red instead of the soft colors like earlier! The movement in the characters is also so good! Especially in Odysseus's actions
2:53 you could *hear* the concern in her voice she went from mindless lust to true love and concern❤ also NOT THE GHOSTS OF HIS FAMILY/FRIENDS AT THE END😭😭😭
I love Calypso's reaction to "my wife". Usually it's depicted as an awkward moment, but the way you drew it makes it look like she's just thinking "Of course... OF COURSE the ONE Greek who actually really loves his wife!"

This is so good 😭
Scary
I always thought they were pulling him back, telling him to keep living for their sakes, but that is so much darker and I love it.

I kinda like the idea of the people he's grieving for is pushing him closer to the edge but his mom. It kinda looks like his mom is trying to pull him back, maybe im just overthinking it but it kind looks like the mom is trying to pull him away from the ledge
That’s what I thought too.

@@benjaminscott6008oh that’s why she looks scared around the cliff because she knows it’s danger, *she’s probably jumped off it-*
3:46 Odysseus screaming, then calling for Athena is even more heartbreaking when you realize this is his FIRST time asking, no, SCREAMING for Athena to help him, not even knowing if she was listening.
"ATHENA!!!"
The way you just worded this made me cry

Peak writing doesn't exi-
I loved that angle in the beginning how we see Calypso from the angle Odysseus is laying, seeing her as she lies down next to the viewer being the first up vlose shot we get is a really cool way to get us into Odys head space!
The Scylla design horrified me, I love it
same, I think it's scarier than gigi's
When I first heard the song I always imagine a beautiful girl with a black dress but instead of legs she has six heads, snakeheads to be precise, and she would be sitting underwater while her heads did the work, rarely showing her face
Check out VirusAp's design. It's my favorite so far.
@@jagne1767 Oh my goodness. I just did and it’s amazing thank you for the recommendation!
Ok but the way Odys cape is on beat at 0:13 is so satisfying to me 😭
How'd I not notice?😂
It's the small details
Me too :D
Real
3:40 I GOT GENUINE CHILLS
Everyone be talking about calypso and Poseidon’s design but no one talking about my girl Aeolus 😭
She was my favourite!
She's Great!
Aren’t they a he? I thought they used he him pronouns in the song
@@Kirbydude-zb7gvI think Aeolus was either male or non specified in the odyssey, so in epic she's either been genderbent into a girl or is nonbinary, idk for sure.
Also I am talking about Poseidon because I am a stupid little simp with three braincells.
The way you do Oddy's eyes is genuinely heart-breaking, mans looks tired and fed up with everything.
Things I love about this animatic:
The designs (I won’t elaborate on this one cause I could go on for days o how much i lovelovelove Duvetbox’s designs.)
Calypso: She has so much personality in this, like the scene where she splashed him at the start, and she also seems so self-aware.
THE HAIR I LOVE THIS ATHENA DESIGN SO MUCH
Literally everything🤍🤍
1000%. I interpreted it as her caring but not wanting the alternative so shes forcing herself to keep him here. Cause the alternative is more loneliness
👏👏👏
Calypso isn't imprisoning Ody, it's Zeus's curse that won't let either of them leave. It takes like 7 years and god intervention to get Ody off her island, again because of Zeus. When I think it was Hermes comes to get him, Calypso is disappointed but lets him go without any drama.
@@Pein718 i don't recall Zeus imprisoning Calypso? as far as i know she's there of her own will, at least in the version of the odyssey i read
@madame.rosier uh it's possible you may be mixing Calypso up with someone else, Calypso is like the one non malicious person Odysseus meets in the entire story xD

I'm surprised she didn't broke into tears
HOW ARE YOU MAKING SUCH BEAUTIFUL ART IN LIKE 3 SECONDS?!???!
Animators are magic
Fr, one frame takes me like 3 days, bruh it's genuinely so impressive ❤
The speed at which the incredible animators in the epic fandom work astounds me in the best way
REAL IVE BEEN STUCK ON AN INTRO FOR ONE OF THEIR SONGS FOR LIKE A WEEK LIKE WHAT??
Of all the Epic animatics, yours is the best Poseidon design. No contest. 👏
Have a good day :>
3:56 I like the idea that when he reaches out to Athena he is not calling to a goddess, but to the one who has always been there for him
It’s also interesting that no matter how bad things got he didn’t even try to call her. This moment is so much him literally on the brink. At his darkest moment he calls out for her
Welp I’m crying
I see it as being both. I think one of the greatest features of the musical is how it depicts the relation between mortals and gods as a mix of friendship, terror and utter devotion, as a polytheistic pantheon should be depicted.
OMG THIS IS AMAZINGGGG!! I love how we actually see Calypso's reaction to Odysseus calling for Athena because it always weighed on mind since the release like WHAT WAS HER REACTION HER EXPRESSION TO ODY DOING THAT?? And this captured what I thought she'd react so well!!
I get that it's sad and all but you did NOT need to make Odysseus look that fine at 1:16 😫🙏

3:18 you know you're a bad person when you see a man in the middle of an emotional crisis and all you can think is how hot he is.... Is this how calipso felt??
This comment made my jaw drop.

You’re so real for this dw
It's really impressive how your art has improved so much over the course of these animatics. That is some FAST development!
Haha thanks. When you draw epic for literally every hour of the day you’re free for three months you learn a couple things😭😭
the hair pullback that he does in the rain was so well animated
2:20 I love how you reminded us to sympathize with Calypso with her facial expressions, since she was also unfairly kept captive. Kind of like she was saying “Hey, I know it’s sucks but I don’t make the rules here, oh well.”
the madness in odysseus' eyes? the subtle insanity in calypso? and the ghosts pushing him to the edge? i love this interpretation so much, one of the most memorable cliff scenes from all the animatics i've seen
"Subtle" insanity??? Calypso left "batshit insane" in the rearview mirror centuries ago

Best I've seen
2:34 YOOO that's the same shot from the start of the Legendary animatic! Like father like son!!
I love how unhinged Calypso looks half of the time.
Also WOW the emotions on Odysseus' face. Especially from 3:17 to the end it's absolutely BREATHTAKING.
I think this is in my top 3 favorite Calypso designs.
You _absolutely_ did the Time Dive justice, I love it!
“Spectacular get me 14 of them right now”
Also this feels so much sadder after the vengeance saga. I want to give everyone in this animatic a hug 😭

So good!!! 🤗 I loved the opening transitions especially Athena with her helmet @0:21 and all your character designs are so cool!!
The ghosts of the people he knew making him descend further into madness(and closer to the end of the cliff….) is just incredible. This is so goood😭😭😭
She’s supposed to be yet another adversary in Ody’s roster 😭
Also I appreciate that she’s not hugging him in the end bit either and instead of hugging him as if she cares and understands his pain and boundaries, she’s just calling him back in to forget abt it like he’s some robot or a dog.

God you made Calypso look so unhinged, I love it. I just love how angular you style is, Its so sharp i love it.
