  • These weird movements of your tongue may seem like a strange way to get rid of TMJ pain! But they will help you relax your jaw if you do them gently and go with the process. For most people the movements of their tongue are unconscious and there is a great deal of strain they can let go of by doing these movements.
    To get the best results, go slow, be gentle with yourself, and do less than you know that you can do. You may find that these exercises help eliminate pain and strain in your neck, and face as well. Some people report sleeping better after doing these sessions. You can experiment with doing them while lying down and in bed at night.
