Dear Boeing boy.......firstly I want to say how much I appreciate the way you explain airline flying, even for non flyers. I am writing this to inform you & your viewers the importance of TCAS. Many years ago, I was flying a Boeing-747-200, from Karachi to London. I was over Iranian territory not far from Tehran at FL 350. Clear blue skies, not a cloud in sight. Suddenly there're is a TCAS warning. "traffic, traffic," the yellow square turns into a red ball. "Climb, Climb," it commands, with the dial showing a green arc upwards. Instinctively I disconnected the auto- pilot and pulled up. A Russian type of aircraft just flew under, right to left. Later I was told that there was mayhem back in the cabin. I saw the pax Windows and a/c logo on the tail. Later wrote a report. No outcome. Like in your video, this pilot was also flying in metric, AND was at FL 350. I am here alive and writing to you because of TCAS. I salute the scientists & researchers who invented it. Thanks & regards! " Laggay raho Boeing boy! Capt: Javed Muzaffar, ( PIA retired. )
@DEEP : THE GAMER you're like 11 or some shit. I bet you're not even done with middle school. When you grow up you'll realize that being a pilot is not as easy or as fun as it may seem. It doesn't pay well, either.
I can still not forget the day because one of my cousins was in the same unfortunate flight...what a day it was when we heard the news...i started recalling all those things 1-2 days before the flight....stories started coming from everyone she met last time...last moment or even the last hour before boarding the flight....she was supposed to travel a week later...but then her kids told her to come early so she changed her reservations to this ill fated day. On this visit she met even those relatives with whom she never met for many years....she even met those family and friends with whom her relation was broken for many years due to any reason...but this time she met all of them and said "I am sorry if I made you feel bad"...and then this news strikes after few minutes of flight and there was a complete silence and feeling of emptiness in everyone's minds...such incidents improve my belief that the DEATH is a reality larger than life....and when it comes it will come so suddenly...not considering age, gender, position, profession, value and conditions...it will not care about the reasons to catch you...it will not take your permission, it will not have mercy and it will not negotiate when the time comes.... my brothers and sisters...do good in your life with a firm belief that afterlife will get you your rewards for your actions...
Last night I was talking about this crash with my father. He's in Army and at that time he was posted in Haryana. In his words, never saw any plane crash more horrific than this one. He further added that people who actually witnessed the crash said seeing a huge plane like IL-76 falling off was horrific.

Hello Boeing boy..... You have recalled my memories.... I was at Dhahran airport and was waiting for my family to be arrived from Mumbai at same arrival time. All of a sudden, some press photographer's were clicking our photos. We realized that something went wrong. The announcement came up with "The Delhi flight has been CANCELLED". Nobody knew what had happened.
