Great filter.. Really like it. I really enjoy looking at other peoples ponds and fish. I have 4 koi ponds and a fish room with multiple tanks. My ponds are surrounded by decking and trees. If you would like to view them that's great. If not that's ok too. Thanks again for sharing and take care.
The brushes and sponges are pretty useless the way this is set up. You should fill the brush chamber completely (in rows ofc, but full rows) and the sponges should be rotated 90° so water actually passes through them. The last Hel-X chamber seems fine but needs a good amount of air pushed through it.
Oh and the UV Lamp is completely pointless as well. It only really kills bacteria and stuff in like a 10cm radius and water doesn't have a reason to flow by this one. You are better off putting it in a tube that's gets direct waterflow from the end chamber.
To be honest that is way over the top and a bit pointless. You could have built a much smaller more efficient system. Why use aeration? If there is enough oxygen in your pond water for your fish to survive then there is more than enough for bacteria to thrive.
Nice filter chamber. Subscribed #1. Want to see the rest.
