Koi Pond without filter... Possible!
Переглядів 3,2 тис.3 роки тому
Is it possible to create a Koi pond without filter system? This video answer it as "yes". I will make a video later to tell how is it possible (concrete pond size approx. 5,000 liters).
To be honest that is way over the top and a bit pointless. You could have built a much smaller more efficient system. Why use aeration? If there is enough oxygen in your pond water for your fish to survive then there is more than enough for bacteria to thrive.
When out let pump power is shut off how you stop the inlet water flow?
Hello mister
K1 moving bed filter should be moving right? To be effective
The duh?
how to make that?
your biofiltration should kept out of light because the bacteria there is not suitable to live under light, especially under sunlight where UV can kill them
Thanks for the detailed explanation on how to make this👎🏽
It is very simple. There is a water jet coming from the wall, just put a T conector with a piece of tube pointing up as shown in the video, and thats it, the water and the air is automatically mixed.
Cut the vertical pipe at a 45° angle, push into T with longer side towards water inlet side, water flow sucks air down the vertical pipe and creates a jet. Lol I never look at how old comments are my b.
Anyway of contacting you please
Hai sir... I want this aerator sir....
What pump are you using
Is there a longer video for this?
Ad anak kecil lewat...dikencingin..kyak ponakan gw.

Super
Great filter.. Really like it. I really enjoy looking at other peoples ponds and fish. I have 4 koi ponds and a fish room with multiple tanks. My ponds are surrounded by decking and trees. If you would like to view them that's great. If not that's ok too. Thanks again for sharing and take care.
I just viewed your setup and I have to say it is a beautiful bit of scenery you created there, be proud of that! Well done
@@RandomNameXY Thanks. I hope you drop by again
Super😲😲😲
Waaay too much gaps in-between the japmats and brushes, water will just pass in-between them.
nice & cool
Looking good mate I like it 👍
The brushes and sponges are pretty useless the way this is set up. You should fill the brush chamber completely (in rows ofc, but full rows) and the sponges should be rotated 90° so water actually passes through them. The last Hel-X chamber seems fine but needs a good amount of air pushed through it.
Oh and the UV Lamp is completely pointless as well. It only really kills bacteria and stuff in like a 10cm radius and water doesn't have a reason to flow by this one. You are better off putting it in a tube that's gets direct waterflow from the end chamber.
Awesome setup and that's coming from a African cichlids guy
Pretty awesome 😱
Nice filter chamber. Subscribed #1. Want to see the rest.
