The craziest part about yandere dev, to me, is that there’s nothing wrong with him. Like, he’s not a psychopath, I don’t think he’s naturally a pedophile, his biggest issue is that he was half-assed homeschooled. Lonely people do bad things. He’s genuinely a terrible person, of course, but the roots of his flaws are isolation during childhood; homeschooling; isolation in general. Lonely people do bad things. it's insane to me that he doesn't see that the reason women never liked him.. is because of his disgusting personality, melodrama, self loathing, misogyny and attitude overall.
It’s very interesting that people at every step of his life have been telling him to change his attitude. From his parents (though many people dismiss their parents’ critique), to 4chan, to Gaia, to Mike Z, to people on UA-cam and Reddit and real life. People who have a good attitude are easier to talk with and be in the presence of. Only people who dislike them are other miserable people. They start out semi self-aware, and probably most of them think they're doing something wrong, or something is wrong with them. That's when the predators swoop in and convince them that it's not actually their fault, but in fact it's society, and especially women who are the root cause of all of their woes. The incel misogyny is basically the result of them having derived their entire self-worth off of the notion that they are "a poor victim" and yet they are one of a select few who know that society is the problem (aka Tate's whole matrix BS). The way he talks about women in his EvaXephon days is fascinating. He really doesn’t see us as individuals, just vessels through which to realize his fantasies. And physical intimacy is just a set of game achievements and not a method of connection with another person. I’m sure he still thinks this way, he’s just slightly less obvious.
I wouldn't necessarily take forum posts which he primarily used to vent clearly as an indicator of how he felt about women on an interpersonal basis. But yea, the man clearly had an extremely skewed view of life in general, and sadly he didn't get the help he clearly needed.
Isolating children should be a crime. Not excusing his actions, but the dude wasn't ugly just literally had no semblance of how to create genuine connections with people. The young women he vies for become enemies to him for not being able to empathize with his strange behavior as little girls are not counselors. Later in life, he finds that younger people are more receptive to his recessed sociability plus a troubled sense for reclaiming for lost time not being able to have access to them when he was their age. But they are people, not objects for his gratification and self-fulfillment.
I agree entirely as someone who battled extreme loneliness as a result of homeschooling. He stewed in being absolutely abysmal and that was his problem - not the women, not the _girls_ he wanted, not loving couples, him. Isolation gave him the room to fester.

He is depressed that no woman is interested in him at all, but he also shuts himself in his house, never approaches them with any confidence or lightheartedness, and is basically only focused on sex. Not to mention he frequently sets high standards. He always says that he filters attractive women and he looks down on women who have already had sex. He’s essentially an average guy who refused to consider average women, and then won’t consider attractive women if they aren’t virgins. It’s really frightening how many young men in this world are becoming like this guy
You probably don't understand how hard it is to approach woman when you have social anxiety. I have some autism and I been always shy /introvert, even though I can be fully open to talk to anyone if they approach me, but my weakness is approaching them first, so no, you dont know shit about it. Some of the issues he has , are of many that a lot of men have. The only red flag is the "desperation" he gives off and the "wanting them for s#x " thing, but the rest, is a mental issue and it is incredibly hard to come out from.
@@mufmager Man, i also have crippling anxiety (im recognised as disabled in my country if that tells you something), i UNDERSTAND how hard it is to approach not only new people, but people you're attracted to (it goes for both men women and others). For the longest time when i was in love i also was in misery because of the anxiety (then the depression that came, then the bpd diagnosis). The thing is you cant force the person youre attracted to to be attracted to you back. You also dont choose who you're in love with. In my journey and misadventures with lovers (from every gender), i realised that the most important thing in order to have a fulfiling relationship is to be honest with yourself, with your other half, being ok with being wrong, and accepting that sometimes you lack maturity, and need to work on your growth as a person. Sometimes when i was in a relationship i focused too much on what the boy/girlfriend wanted or expected from me that i lost myself and when the relationship ended, i didnt know who i was anymore and how i was supposed to continue without my litteral "other half". Thats not what you want obvioulsy. But when you're like 20, 22, you think you have it figured it out. Im 24 now and i obviously still dont. But im honest enough with myself to say that i dont need a partner, and also dont have the mental space for it as im still pretty much disabled and need to work on said disability. All this to say (and sorry for the ranting), you'll be okay, social anxiety can make you meet people like you, you'll feel understood then (all my friends have some form of anxiey issues).
@@munbrazeh6700 I agree that both social anxiety affects both men and women, but because the dynamics are very different things don't play out the same. This first big difference is that guys are usually the ones to approach girls. This means shy girls will still have many opportunities (desirable or otherwise) to interact with the opposite sex without having to proactively approach. With shy guys, they have to proactively leave their comfort zone or their social skills fall behind. The second difference is that with socially retarded men, such as Yandere Dev, people are very eager to construe their actions as creepy or predatory. So on top of the anxiety of being labeled as a loser, there is the added anxiety that you're making the other person uncomfortable or terrified.
@@mufmagerSocial anxiety is one thing but it’s still pretty bad that he refused to consider anyone who wasn’t pretty enough and similarly a virgin. Even if his anxiety was reduced, his targets were far too high, and his attitude was all wrong.

I always found it a bit ironic that Yandere Dev is _Solely_ responsible for his game failing. Having trouble with emails? Why not just _stop_ replying to them? That will free up time to work on your game. Having trouble getting Osana done? Stop trying to add extra features no one cares about, and focus on what you want Osana to do. this it the way it should be, only enter a relationship if you can be comfortable alone with your own tought and dont need a partner for anything, this way you are not as likely to end up in a codependent unhealthy relationship that will scar you and make future relationships even harder to maintain. also you are more likely to end up in a relationship when you are not desperate who will take anyone that comes by and accepts you cause people will sense that and everyone likes condifence and wants to feel special to their partner not the only one they could get

@@breadforkit’s crazy how similar they are: Small indie developers Got their popularity from markiplier Has serious financial/social issues Only a year apart when they start But the difference between them is that Scott is a smart mature adult and willing to work with others. Not even so. From what I understand about his relationship, she was 16 when the story came to light, but she was 9 when they first started speaking to each other. This is pedophilia and predatory beyond a reasonable doubt.
The way he constantly sounds like he’s talking to a disobedient child really grates on the brain. For the life of me I can’t understand why he refuses to take advice from anyone
While it's hard to nail down the exact why, it's almost certainly related to the fact that he is designing the game for himself and not for other players. His game is set up like a sandboxy game, but obstacles are not handled as obstacles, they are handled as locks you open with Yandere Dew approved keys. For example, Raibaru is an obstacle that you can eliminate or bypass using certain methods he purposefully implemented, but other methods he often try to patch out when they are discovered. He doesn't want the players to play his game the way they want to, he wants them the play it how he intended. With that in mind, advice comes of as useless to him. You can give a man advice on how to make his game better, but it's hard to advice someone on how to better railroad the players into playing as he intends because you can't read his mind. Yandere Dew won't take advice since his goal isn't a great game.
Its very common with social awkward loner types to think they're special or different because they're lonely. It makes sense Alex would think he's like that since most of the social cues he learned from anime. He sees all these super badass character at the back of the class who are lonely because nobody gets how intelligent and amazing they are and probably started relating to them and to a point see himself as some weird type of unrecognized badass savant. Simply put, Alex has likely duped himself into thinking that, since misunderstood geniuses are often alone and he has lived a lonely life, then he must be a genius and treats everyone else accordingly to protect his incredibly fragile ego
@@randomperson093 It’s the speed at which he talks. As I said, he sounds as if he’s talking to a child and needs to talk slow so they can understand him. He also repeats many things that are actually quite obvious

What's crazy is that, as an autistic man, I find most of the stuff he said and did as a kid incredibly relatable. It reminds me quite a lot of my 12-16yo self, being unable to socialize or date or hang out with people, being incredibly jealous and resentful of happy people while I was incredibly suicidal, not knowing how to express myself until it came out in anger or pettiness, until I secluded myself at home 24/7 with cartoons and anime, all while living in an abusive home. If he had gotten mental help, he could have turned out so differently. Just because the world has failed you doesn't make you a lost cause, you have to start your own healing process, it gets easier the further you make it. I hope all the lonely, traumatized teenage weebs of the world find happiness instead of incelibacy.

1:22:24 The word choice here is brilliant. "There is no idea that you could possibly suggest, that I haven't already shot down." Notice how he didn't say try. He didn't mention an attempt. Alex simply "shoots down" any and all attempts at advice because they would require him to work.
His description of why he couldn't work with TinyBuild's software developer is a very long-winded version of "I cannot develop software in collaboration with another human, because I do not understand software development even a little bit."
Imagine how much he could have learned if he was just humble enough to admit that he had no real idea what he was doing and accept help from someone else.

Self isolation messes with people's minds. And when you throw social isolation with the unrealistic fantasy of animes (that comes from a place with high pedophiliac rates, most of them nowadays having overly sexualized chars and also, bad writing especially with the girl characters) you have Alex's mind. Edit: also the boost in popularity in the game with his already messed up mindset made he even more of a mentally fucked up guy

When YandereDev turned down Tiny Build that was the beginning of the end. What a truly awful decision that was. His game was a buggy mess and frankly he isn’t a good enough coder to fix it. So, in came a company willing to overhaul his code, let him keep full ownership of the game as well as total creative control. A miraculous deal; yet he turned them away. If YandereDev had an ounce of humility and was able to admit his code needed overhauling, chances are the game would’ve been finished by now and he would’ve raked in a ton of money with little effort. Ironically, he got what he deserved in the end. A dying game, his VAs leaving the project and a rightfully ruined reputation.
The worst part is that TinyBuild already had the recoded version available and ready to go; many people downloaded it and reported massive FPS increases just from the game not being a million else if statements wearing an anime themed trench coat. But of course the idea that someone could've made his anime game way better than he did is almost an offensive idea to Yandere Dev
He could still do it himself with the AI DEV/TEST software thats been out for the last 3 years. I wouldn't let some 3rd party company steal my product either. He doesn't even need VA's now either.
The way he talks about wanting a girlfriend sounds so gross. I understand loneliness but he speaks as if he wants to own a girlfriend, like a check off a list.
People like him, for whatever nature or nurture reason, see things as objectives. "You're not a real man if you can't keep a woman." But instead of perceiving a sentiment like that as inspiration to be a real man and change yourself into a real man that a woman would naturally be attracted to, it's interpreted as obtaining a woman will magically bestow you the title, the achievement, the badge. That you are already a man, you just have to unlock the recognition by passing this level, by utilizing this glitch. It's not skill to them, it's not a lifelong goal of growth and adventure. It's an achievement that requires nothing from you, like marriage in Skyrim. It's like early Ash Ketchum, or any gamer really. It's not about getting good or growing, it's about wandering around enjoying yourself, finding what you're good at and then expecting inevitable success. That your worth is in collecting, not improving. It's a mindset that seems to be ingrained. It's the ,"I don't want to put in the effort, but I want the rewards," as well as the, "I do not want to do this at all but have to," mindsets. For me, a clear memory is from being in LDS Young Women's Personal Progress. I hated it and the whole "prepare to be a docile mother/ incubator/ sex toy" so instead of doing anything proactively, I would take things I'd already done and tried to make them apply. "I made this art project, it totally counts as homemaking." Or, "I've always read my scriptures every day, so why do I have to start a journal now when I'm in the middle of Isaiah? Can't I either wait until I'm at a good starting point or can't we just count all the times you've heard me discuss what I've read and thought abtout it?" Sometimes they'd pass it off, other times they told me I needed to start the project with the goal in mind. The thing was, I never wanted it, the necklace was dumb and signaled that I was willing to jump through hoops for attention, all while doing activities to make me appreciate womanhood or whatever objectification. ("Think about a time you responded with kindness and uplifted others. How can growing that talent make you a better mother in the future? Ask your own mother or grandmother how being kind helps her in her responsibilities." Seriously. Every project and question was like that, every achievement or skill was ALWAYS twisted into popping out babies and you had no merit until you were cleaning up diapers. Create an art piece? Perfect! It's about how you will love your future family, and any other meaning is worthless.) YandereDev was never willing to work for what he claimed he wanted. It was all about having fun, appeasing his base instincts. Killing girls, taking panty shots, reliving high school where everyone's an enemy, fighting for affection? And it fell apart when he overloaded actual programming and play testing with Osana. It wasn't fun anymore to him, and it wasn't getting him girls irl. He approached things like he was entitled to them, not with the mindset of living and growing and improving and how can I do better. Whether that's how he was born or what he grew into with his sheltered life, the end result was a man who felt no accomplishment despite creating something millions of players were interested in. "Ideas are cheap. Implementing them is expensive." -Thor (the streamer guy)
home schooling doesn't make you a ALEX, it just means that you are homed schooled. Its kind of disturbing that the original involuntary celibate project was about people expressing their difficulty in finding relationships oftentimes due to very real marginalization, only to be picked up by a bunch of men who used it as an excuse for hating on women.
Those people still exist, just doesn't help that simps and progressives have appropriated the term to shame any men who are critical or observant of either women or feminist ideologies. [You will instantly recognize her voice.]) *_HOW THE FUCK DID ALEX MANAGE THE GET THEM!?_* He fumbled the bag to an EPIC degree...
The thing about Yandev is that I think he absolutely adores his fame, but he hates being responsible for it. He would rather we all sit back and metaphorically stroke him off, but not require anything of him and just let his fame exist. The idea that he is responsible for his behavior is a foreign concept if you just blame everyone for expecting anything of you.
And that’s honestly the real reason why he will NEVER finish the game. He’s tied his persona so intrinsically to the game. So finishing it will, in his mind, leave him with nothing.
Absolutely. He loves the idea of being famous but hates everything that comes with it. Receiving tons of mails and having to stay in contact with his fans is too much for him. Working on his game is too much for him. He wants all the benefits of fame (simps and money) without having to work for it.
It’s exactly as you say, I think that in the moment that he went from a “nobody” (as we saw, he gets to feel important when someone gives him attention, even so if it’s female attention) to someone popular, but just like what happened in the past, it’s not like he tried to improve himself or ask professional help when he got rejected and when the girl he kissed leaved him and so the cycle continues and when he got famous he did not do something to improve the game or himself but just tried to find ways to make that moment last longer, and it did, but the thing is that if he would have done something meaningful and worked hard (on himself and the game) people now woukd respect him, a lot. People need hope and he could have been a symbol of hope if he had just gotten help, it really sad if you think about it
I wish you spoke more on the tiny build thing. One of the higher up's wife liked the game and pulled strings for him, and he was rude to the person they assigned to help him til they ultimately pulled out
I get it. I really do. I have autism. I understand not really getting the whole social interaction thing. I understand processing the world and social interaction through the lens of anime and video games. I still do that to this day. But there are certain basic things you learn as you grow up that are universal, regardless of such things. Real life is more complicated than even the most realistic animation, and not understanding that is a road that leads to nowhere. Not every romance is going to be a perfect fairy tale story, and trying to seek one instead of letting it happen naturally is going to lead to an endlessly unhappy life. And DON’T. FUCK. KIDS.
Thank you! You have the best take on this entire issue, like I'm not even an incel, I've been on relationships but they've all been showed because both me and my partners were just looking for company and trying desperately to make ourselves fulfill each other's needs. Romance should happen naturally, you have to get very lucky to just stumble into a happy relationship.
I’m the same way. Similar to Alex, I didn’t have a “normal” high school experience either; didn’t go to any school events and never had a partner. Socializing has always been difficult for me. As much as I hated school, I’m glad I wasn’t homeschooled. I learned social skills I wouldn’t have learned at home, unlike Alex
As a female shut in, I was groomed, abused, and forced to do things like take naked pictures of myself for 2 years. From the age of 13 to the age of 15. Not only did I have a psychopath like Yandere Dev threatening me that he would kill me and himself if I didn't do what he said, but my family found out and treated me like a "dirty little girl" instead of supporting me. My friends in high school (Freshmen year) are who helped me get away from him. To this day I don't know his real name or age. Stuff like this happens daily. Yandere Dev just had a platform that made it easier to be a predator and by extension exposed. We have to remember that these people are victims. Forced into situations where they think they have to obey. It's sick and disgusting. Don't blame the victims. Help them get out.
I'm so happy that you're out of that, and by proxy so angry that your family didn't offer any grace when they found out you were being abused. Thank goodness for your friends ❤
And then guys like him have the nerve to cry about how mistreated they are. Yeah, it's sad he was bullied and didn't have luck in love. But at some point he lost perspective and never really had a sense of accountability for how his life was going. So he just did the most heinous things and used his sad circumstances as an excuse for them.
If I was an indie game developer getting 4000 a month, i'd forget that emails fucking existed and be up late most days learning to code more efficiently to keep that cash flow coming.
The email thing is genuinely the funniest part of his whole incompetence, especially the snide, arrogant dismissal of the many practical and easy-to-implement solutions. I hope he gets trillions of spam emails a day.
My personal theory is that the end of the universe is tied to the completion of this game, and some time traveler keeps going back and preventing Alex from completing it to save humanity.
This man is made of self-pity. First it’s because no one likes him, then because he didn’t date the girl that did like him, then because people were mean to his shit fighting game, and then because people were giving him too much attention over yansim. All he can ever do is feel bad for himself.

My favorite piece of YanDev lore is that he got perfected in Guilty Gear by only getting hit with air throws, and that MikeZ trashed his inability to code and program and was his start of darkness.
I feel like something you kinda skipped over was his comments about how he developed the game, with one in particular standing out. "Adding an easter egg in Yandere Simulator only takes 30 seconds." The only way it would take 30 seconds to add an 'easter egg' is if he just downloaded an asset from the Unity store and haphazardly duumped it into the game. He basically said that instead of making the game he'd pretty much just get an asset online, place it into the game, update the game, and collect ad revenue and Patreon dollars. That explains so much.
The fact people were confusing YanDev with Chris Chan only bolsters my desire to write an essay on these type of people from a psychological perspective.
@@dfire828 I think my hypothesis would be surrounding proper socialization in individuals who display anti-social/asocial tendencies, also accounting for Chris Chan's autism and how that played a role in his story, and also mention how socialization online is a sort of psuedo-socialization that oftentimes only exacerbates the behaviors of these individuals. It's reflective of the attitudes seen in the anime he likes.
Which is pretty much just hentai.
Ah yes, the woman, a mythical beast that roams the outer world
The craziest part about yandere dev, to me, is that there’s nothing wrong with him.
I hate this guy, but I kind of sympathize with him, I spent my childhood isolated in an abusive and broken home. I just didn’t become, you know, a ravaging porn addicted, pedophilic, misogynistic yet desperate obese japanophile narcissist. Everyone responds to trauma differently, I guess. Moral of the story: love your children and please don’t isolate them.
(ominous whispering tone in an Australian accent.......yes it's just Steve Irwin lol)
Right....... Now, we've almost finished the summoning spell, we've got a protective circle set up with some tampons, chocolate, and ice cream to placate this mythical beast while Terry readies the tranquilizer dart and Bill readies the net...... It's time to catch us a woman boys
Eco-chamber (subreddit) and trapped by your own bubble instead exploring different kind of people and interacting with them does that to you.
He was getting 4000$ a month for working on his own dream-project as a game developer, and wishes he could go back to the days where he had no supporters, because he's too busy responding to emails and making update posts. If that doesnt tell you how delusional that man is, then I dont know.
$4000 a month sounds like a lot, but it's $48k a year, pre-tax? Which sounds like a bunch if you're like 20, but much less great if you're 35 and even a slightly competent programmer. His real problem is that he's spent the last decade messing around and barely actually working, so of course he _can't_ just go get a real job now.
@@Nassifeh4k a month is more than enough to live on, if you're being careful. I think that's what hes talking about. Especially back then, before renting prices exploded so aggressively. Unless you are living in a major city, 4k a month is enough to float on.

For context... An average 30 second ad read here on UA-cam starts around $2000 for a channel around 100k subs, And the bigger your channel the more they're willing to pay you. So every basic boring reaction channel that has an ad read every week is making way more than whatever yandere dev made. And they didn't even have to learn how to code 😄
Lets just keep that in mind when we start talking about how much work someone is doing to actually earn their money 😂

The only Credit i can give the creator of Hello Neighbor is that he did finish his game although the other two where meh he didn't went that long like yandereDev....
The fact that Cuphead, a game where each frame is HAND-drawn in imense detail, had a full length and a DLC game in the time where Yansim added one rival is baffling to me
See here's the thing it's even worse: The first season of the show *and* the dlc were released before the """official demo""" for Yansim came out.
Hand-animating Cuphead took seven years and Yansim didn't have a demo for like eight lmaooo
dont forget how the cuphead devs lost their entire home and life temporarily to disaster and STILL did all that before the first rival was made
Even then, Cuphead has the greatest excuse to come out late, and even then we got a masterpiece that couldn’t be rushed. And the creators put there all in it, even at the cost of their home.
Yansim had _premade_ character models and object, collision program that just needed to get downloaded. And Alex self-sabotaged himself (i.e. Turning down Tiny Build, complaining about emails, insulting his audience, and dilly-dallying).
This + Scott Cawthon creating an entire video game empire (I feel like Osana could've been finished by the 3rd fnaf game) + Omori + Toby Fox Undertale, Deltarune + ConcernedApe Stardew Valley (only took 4 years) and a whole bunch of other indie games.

it's insane to me that he doesn't see that the reason women never liked him.. is because of his disgusting personality, melodrama, self loathing, misogyny and attitude overall.
People like this tend to lack self-awareness.
But even then, at my most miserable, I wouldn’t want to be around Alex since he always plays the victim card and only cares for himself.
And his response to any kind of criticism...wait hes a misogynist? Holy shit thats hilarious
He hasn't interacted with enough real people to realize this
Incels are like a flock of razing sheep, surrounded by predatory grifters ranging from the parasitic grift of Jordan Peterson, to the gluttonous ravishing style of Andrew Tate.
I'm impressed, that's a very evenhanded view of the situation. Thank you for sharing.
I agree entirely as someone who battled extreme loneliness as a result of homeschooling. He stewed in being absolutely abysmal and that was his problem - not the women, not the _girls_ he wanted, not loving couples, him. Isolation gave him the room to fester.
Homeschooling ruins kids. I was extremely lucky to turn out okay and be self-aware enough to seek therapy.
@@james-m-8285 Thing is, even when you're home schooled you can still find ways of interacting with other kids, whether it be sports, clubs, camps or anything like that. Some places also have co-op classes where you go like once a week to meet up with other home schooled kids to build a community with. Obviously it's not ideal but home schooling in of itself does not predestine you for total loneliness.
This feels like an extreme case where his parents made absolutely no effort at all to socialize him with other kids his age and kept him completely isolated, leaving him to stew in his own negative thoughts as he grew up without any proper intervention or assistance to help him develop normally. Add his diagnosed autism to the mix and it becomes even less surprising that he turned out the way he did. Not defending Alex or his actions but it's pretty clear that he was not set up for a good life.
@@gabrielabato9939yeah exactly, homeschooling or loneliness would not be the whole cause of him becoming an incel. misogynistic society / male gamer culture / echo chambers online don't help either. plus his refusal to ever improve himself is his own fault. homeschooling has good purposes and is sadly commonly prohibited in my country, despite e.g. chronically ill immunocompromised kids/parents having a high need for it. no need to demonize everyone who homeschools kids.

Lol. Lmao even.
Last time he got help from another programmer fixing with the spaghetti code by simplifying it and cut all the excess code, that ended up worthless as the programmer left and YandereDev undo all the hard work his helper did by redoing the spaghetti code all over again.
And that was YEARS ago, when YandereSim was at its height.

He honestly sounds like he's looking down on the audience when he's talking, can't exactly put my finger on it but he sounds so full of himself

Man you have never read girls checklists in highschool have you. There are women that still live with them to this day.
@@Deneteus The problem is that YanDev never grew up he still had that checklist.
Perfect! It's about how you will love your future family, and any other meaning is worthless.)
YandereDev was never willing to work for what he claimed he wanted.

I hear kids these days are even more isolated in public school due to how overbearing and work intensive the school system has become.

The thing that blows my mind the most is the fact that Alex was able to secure several AAA voice actors for his game, people who other studios would kill to have, and he managed to drive ALL of them away.
We're talking about people like:
• Kari Wahlgren (Ashe in Final Fantasy XII, Celty in Durarara!! and Anemone in Eureka Seven.)
• Trevor Devall (Andrea Rhodea in Final Fantasy VII Remake and Ravus Nox Fleuret in Final Fantasy XV.)
• Shara Kirby (Candace in Genshin Impact.)
• Erica Lindbeck (2B in NieR: Automata, Kaori in Your Lie in April, Morgana and Taliyah and Zoe in League of Legends, Cassie Cage in Mortal Kombat 11, Black Cat in Insomniac's Spider-Man and many, MANY more roles.
• Alejandro Saab (Jules in Final Fantasy VII Remake, Yuri in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Cyno in Genshin Impact.)
• Sean Schemmel (ADULT GOKU IN DRAGON BALL!!!)
• Yuri Lowenthal (Sasuke in Naruto, Peter Parker in Insomniac's Spider-Man, Marth in all Fire Emblem media and Suzaku Kururugi in Code Geass.)
• Laura Bailey (Lust in Fullmetal Alchemist, Serah in Final Fantasy XIII, Lucina in Fire Emblem: Awakening, Maka in Soul Eater, Kid Trunks in Dragon Ball Z and many, MANY more roles.)
• Troy Baker (Snow in Final Fantasy XIII, Pain in Naruto Shippuden, Joel in The Last of Us, Booker DeWitt in Bioshock Infinite and many, MANY more roles.
• Caitlin Myers (Dunya, Safie and Shaghayeh in Genshin Impact, TONS of background characters in various animes, and is currently a very popular Vtuber for the largest Vtuber company in the world. [You will instantly recognize her voice.])
*_HOW THE FUCK DID ALEX MANAGE THE GET THEM!?_*
He fumbled the bag to an EPIC degree...
Saying he'd pay them instead of actively putting that money into actually completing his game
Erica Lindbeck didn't voice 2B tho, she was voiced by Kira Buckland
@@He11JumperIronically, she was also in Yandere Simulator as a voice actress.
Seriously that cast is something out a dub of a triple A like japanese game.
God, if I fucking had Yuri Goddamn Lowenthal as a VA on my game, I’d get my shit together and make sure what I’m making is A-class shit 😭
@@J-manli We could have gotten Yandere Simulator 2 by now
People need hope and he could have been a symbol of hope if he had just gotten help, it really sad if you think about it
One thing is for certain. Whatever is coming next year. He won’t survive to see it.
And DON’T. FUCK. KIDS.
I mean many autistic people let it happen naturally and it never comes lol. That being said he certainly has no excuse to be a predator of all things.
His problem is he never takes accountability. In his mind, it's him vs them
Well said brother
I hope you can recover from this. I hate how it's always the girls', the women's fault. We are made whole the moment we were born.
I'm so happy that you're out of that, and by proxy so angry that your family didn't offer any grace when they found out you were being abused. Thank goodness for your friends ❤
so youre a femcel now? or what?
gonna stay inside all day like alex now?
Disgusted just reading this. I hope you're living your best life now and can move past that.
The thing that gets me the most is that the main character and mascot of his game was a store bought unity asset that anyone could buy and use
And no changes are coming!
XD
and he has the audacity to shame fangame devs for using it
@@BarioIDL he really thinks it is his own, HUH?!

This is really good.
Haha 😂
Sounds like the containment procedures of a Keter SCP
They're the one sending him all those emails

This man is made of self-pity. First it’s because no one likes him, then because he didn’t date the girl that did like him, then because people were mean to his shit fighting game, and then because people were giving him too much attention over yansim. All he can ever do is feel bad for himself.
i have seen a lot of people being like this, covering it up with self deprecating memes and stuck in a limbo forever. its kind of sad a lot of people dont realize their self worth and never tried to chase self actualization

@@t3hgraemek shame alex's improvement as a person hinges on a romantic relationships. maybe its because im autistic and by proxy don't 'human' the same way neurotypical people do but I don't get why alex didn't just have a proper sit down with himself and examine why he is the way he is on a genuine level. like. 'you can't help someone who doesn't want to help themselves' is a saying for a reason.
My favorite piece of YanDev lore is that he got perfected in Guilty Gear by only getting hit with air throws, and that MikeZ trashed his inability to code and program and was his start of darkness.
yikes, that perfect sounds genuinely embarrassing af
The worst is that mikeZ wasn't even that harsh, and was genuinely trying to tell him that he needed to work on his coding skills.
Absolutely brutal, I would simply quit the game.
is there a recording of the guilty gear moment or is it in text only?

@@woketacha6112 It's under his EvaXephone name in #R, here on youtube.
He even commented on it 15 years ago using his secondary channel.
I feel like something you kinda skipped over was his comments about how he developed the game, with one in particular standing out.
"Adding an easter egg in Yandere Simulator only takes 30 seconds."
The only way it would take 30 seconds to add an 'easter egg' is if he just downloaded an asset from the Unity store and haphazardly duumped it into the game.
He basically said that instead of making the game he'd pretty much just get an asset online, place it into the game, update the game, and collect ad revenue and Patreon dollars.
That explains so much.
Considering the inconsistency poly counts on the all the assets, that's exactly what he did.
Isn't the main character just an asset flip?
Like I have nothing against using assets but c'mon, even the main character?
"It's so hard to wait for volunteers to make assets" says the guy with enough money to pay them all once for it.
Right? Even if he doesn't think they deserve a salary, they could be paid per asset!
The fact people were confusing YanDev with Chris Chan only bolsters my desire to write an essay on these type of people from a psychological perspective.
That would be a genuinely interesting read.
(I also think being autistic and having experiences that may lend to the hypothesis could help!)
Dude part of me wants to go back to college, get my PhD in psychology and do my thesis on Chris Chan or some equivelant person
Well, there's always GenoSamuel and his over 100 hour long documentary on Chris Chan which is still going. Chris Chan himself watches it and Geno even got to interview him recently.
That would be hands down super interesting
The email saga is the funniest thing, especially when he is acting smarter then everyone who made legitimately great suggestions 🤣
