Hey, thanks for playing Merg! i was the sprite artist for this little project and it's cool seeing someone as big as you play it lol. The team was very small as you saw so development got a little rough at times and being the only artist on the team made things a little difficult lol, but i'm pretty proud of what we managed to do with it.
You see someone basically get shot in front of you, you’d also be less inclined to be an asshole. This probably all felt like pretend up until that moment.
@@NovaBoi7 I think then you have to consider the math with that. with 30-46 damage (Avg 38) hits you can only die in a minimum of 4 hits but an average of 5 hits (198/38=5.21 hits). If you only get hit twice then logically you should have enough health to take 2 more hits on average. If you have 93 health or more this is guaranteed. Healing above 93 health means you're being too cautious or you're trying to top off because you can't die in less then 3 hits despite how low the number looks.
Kris’s soul possessing somebody else is just the coolest shit. Like that’s been an idea in my hand for that to happen officially for a damn long time and to see it in reality is so cool.
Well I mean, the soul is basically just a representation of the player. Basically kris is the puppet, the strings are the soul, and the master is the player.

A couple of them are too difficult. If Sans would hard then this would be near impossible. Especially if Merg, someone who’s been doing boss fan games for years, is struggling as much as he did, I couldn’t imagine how intense it would actually be.

Probably the second best deltarune fangame I've ever seen (the first one been deltatraveler). The sprites are so well made and the attacks are very creative. I especially like the idea of spamton taking queen's big robot to fight, It's so epic. Thumbs up for the creators!

While DT is fairly interesting because of how it mixes deltarune and undertale together, this one is just a really nice, really fleshed out deltarune fangame that I think the fandom's been missing for quite some time. Apart from Vs. Mike, this fangame is really good, and stays true to the original. If I had to rate what was best game mechanics wise, story length wise, and creativity wise, I'd say DT. But this one? It really sticks to the original. It feels like something Toby could've came up with (apart from a few rough parts here and there), and it just overall looks very pleasing and smoothed out. It's by no means a masterpiece, but relative to the other fangames it is a gem.
That song is a fan made boss theme for a boss called Snowgrave Neo, which is basically a version of spamton that survived Snowgrave. It works really well for this boss too!

Holy I don't usually find fighting games that interesting but dang this is insane. This is seriously one of a kind and I cannot imagine how much love and effort was put into this fangame.
Hey, Merg! There's another Spamton fangame I think you should check out if you haven't seen it already. It's called the Salt Route and I won't get too into it, but basically Spamton loses his keys, we try and help him by giving him our SPARE button and we have to find little grains of salt all around the city before fighting Spamton.

this is the single best fight fangame i've seen. the dialogue and humour is one of the most on-point and toby-like i've ever seen (someone gets spamton's typing right finally!), the attacks feel fair and balanced, the general design ideas are really cool (that frozen bar is really cool) and the spritework is incredible - i could see this being official! great work to everyone involved in this project!
Heal prayer keeps you alive, which makes it feel as if this is two titans of enormous, if differing, power fighting, each trying to kill the other as quickly as possible, and at the same time both refuse to freaking die already.
woooow this is such an amazing fangame!! The story, the dialogue, the attacks, everything felt so on point. (Also it´s been a while since I´ve seen Merg this frustrated ksldfsdf clearly this was quite a challenge)
Love how this is one of the few fangames that has spamton completely in-character Like, him literally starting out by having fun with fighting noelle but then dropping the act when he fails and actually starts to beat noelle up himself (shockingly intimidating too)
Something interesting about the credits is that it talks about “Starwalker Sprites” and “Spamton CD” Music and sprites that aren’t seen in the game Additionally… there is that sleepmist option I feel like it’s a possibility that there’s another route to this battle
This fangame had a lot of EPIC moments, and I kinda wish there was more to this than one video. This video made me also want to rewatch your deltarune ch2 series, so... at least I have something to do for the next couple of hours.

I still cant believe this was made in scratch, very impressive! It imitates deltarune very well, you could say its a modded version of the game and i would believe it.
Man these Deltarune fangames always seem so official. The boss fight was so good and the music was great. Although I wish The World Revolving was more prominent in the theme, it is in their but it is mostly overwhelmed by Spamtom's theme which I guess make sense but I was hoping there would be a World Revolving section like how there was a couple segments where it was Noelle's theme. Still an amazing fight though. The devs out did themselves.
Think of it like this The world revolving track seems to represent the secret bosses in general, and so far Jevil and spamton. Right now spamton is literally god, he owns it all, has it all, can do literally whatever now as a towering god, way more so than in the original snowgrave, and not in strings. The strings held him back and tied him to that leitmotif, which is related too Jevil, theoretically mike, him, all of that Spamton has ascended that here, and it’s his biggest moment, so of course it’s gonna be his leitmotif the whole song (with a tad bit of megalovania)
@@TheGhostOf87 the original one was for a Spamton that survived a Snowgrave, so I feel the Megalovania is meant to fit how its an incredibly strong, incredibly desperate final boss at the end of basically a genocide run that’s fighting for their life and everything they care about. (Spamton did just usurp Queen, after all.)

The creator will argue with you and defend that the game isn't THAT difficult, but then you have the two hearts attacks, the onslaught of explosions cornering you, along with other attacks that makes it feel like you're cramped.
I mean it really depends on what you consider difficult. I beat it after around 20 tries, I would say it was around medium difficulty. For other people 20 tries might be in what they call easy or it might be what they call ahrd
when Spamton's eye turned like that in 10:29, in my head I just imagined him saying the Bill Cipher quote: "I got some children I need to make into corpses!"

Man, I remember listening to this battle's song on its own a while ago. Didn't think it'd get turned into a fangame. This is really cool though! Probably one of my favourite fangames, everything about it just feels so faithful to the original game. The dialogue, the sprites, the attacks, the story, even the concept as a whole, all feel so simple yet really interesting and unique, which in my opinion is what toby's style is all about in the first place. This is actually a really fantastic fan game! You don't get stuck by repeatedly dying, but get stuck by enduring till you get better, and it's as if you're fighting a long war! I actually preferred this than the repeating revives because you are progressing through real time skill and not just memorizing very specific positions just to progress to the next attack pattern then just die to that pattern then go back to the beginning. I also noticed that all of the attacks here are rng battles, so the enduring concept is actually the perfect type for this kind of boss. What a fresh idea for a fan game! Great job to everyone that helps into creating this game. And for you Merg, wow, all that no hit skills under your belt made you survive that unfair double heart attack and endure all that! This might actually be the longest time I see you alive and the first time I see you not constantly dying! That's just how great this fan game is! I also love how much salt there is in this gameplay btw xD. Very awesome video. I'm pretty sure no hit will be just right in the corner soon xD
this is a really weird thing to think of but 29:54 reminds me of this one club penguin star wars minigame where you had to like duck behind cover and shoot down stormtroopers (i think the penguin you play as was dressed as han solo) probably because of the angle you see spammy at where he’s in the distance but faced towards the camera while noelle is behind an ice wall at the forefront that aside though this is the best undertale or deltarune fangame ive ever seen honestly, this is just so sick and every attack is so creative

I still cant believe this was made in scratch, very impressive! It imitates deltarune very well, you could say its a modded version of the game and i would believe it.
Man these Deltarune fangames always seem so official. The boss fight was so good and the music was great. Although I wish The World Revolving was more prominent in the theme, it is in their but it is mostly overwhelmed by Spamtom's theme which I guess make sense but I was hoping there would be a World Revolving section like how there was a couple segments where it was Noelle's theme. Still an amazing fight though. The devs out did themselves.

Think of it like this
The world revolving track seems to represent the secret bosses in general, and so far Jevil and spamton. Right now spamton is literally god, he owns it all, has it all, can do literally whatever now as a towering god, way more so than in the original snowgrave, and not in strings. The strings held him back and tied him to that leitmotif, which is related too Jevil, theoretically mike, him, all of that
Spamton has ascended that here, and it’s his biggest moment, so of course it’s gonna be his leitmotif the whole song (with a tad bit of megalovania)
@@TheGhostOf87 the original one was for a Spamton that survived a Snowgrave, so I feel the Megalovania is meant to fit how its an incredibly strong, incredibly desperate final boss at the end of basically a genocide run that’s fighting for their life and everything they care about. (Spamton did just usurp Queen, after all.)

The creator will argue with you and defend that the game isn't THAT difficult, but then you have the two hearts attacks, the onslaught of explosions cornering you, along with other attacks that makes it feel like you're cramped.

After beating it after like 10 or 20 attempts I can safely say:
Skill issue.
I mean it really depends on what you consider difficult. I beat it after around 20 tries, I would say it was around medium difficulty. For other people 20 tries might be in what they call easy or it might be what they call ahrd
i love that at the second fase merg goes into every attack so confident and the moment after gets mad because he got hit.

Man, I remember listening to this battle's song on its own a while ago. Didn't think it'd get turned into a fangame.
This is really cool though! Probably one of my favourite fangames, everything about it just feels so faithful to the original game. The dialogue, the sprites, the attacks, the story, even the concept as a whole, all feel so simple yet really interesting and unique, which in my opinion is what toby's style is all about in the first place.
Glad you played it, doubt I'd have come across it otherwise.

I think he has admitted defeat, but just scolded the player/soul for what they are doing

17:54 Idk how the game works٫ but it was 48% last time. I think it had something to do with the Internal Heating system meaning you do have to be fast about it. Makes sense when you realize the suit was built to defend against the cold. Hope that helps. 😇

This is actually a really fantastic fan game! You don't get stuck by repeatedly dying, but get stuck by enduring till you get better, and it's as if you're fighting a long war! I actually preferred this than the repeating revives because you are progressing through real time skill and not just memorizing very specific positions just to progress to the next attack pattern then just die to that pattern then go back to the beginning. I also noticed that all of the attacks here are rng battles, so the enduring concept is actually the perfect type for this kind of boss. What a fresh idea for a fan game! Great job to everyone that helps into creating this game.
And for you Merg, wow, all that no hit skills under your belt made you survive that unfair double heart attack and endure all that! This might actually be the longest time I see you alive and the first time I see you not constantly dying! That's just how great this fan game is! I also love how much salt there is in this gameplay btw xD. Very awesome video. I'm pretty sure no hit will be just right in the corner soon xD

this is a really weird thing to think of but 29:54 reminds me of this one club penguin star wars minigame where you had to like duck behind cover and shoot down stormtroopers (i think the penguin you play as was dressed as han solo)
probably because of the angle you see spammy at where he’s in the distance but faced towards the camera while noelle is behind an ice wall at the forefront
that aside though this is the best undertale or deltarune fangame ive ever seen honestly, this is just so sick and every attack is so creative
