How amazing that when John sings about regret, or message and protest type songs, we don't feel sad, we all just feel uplifted and HAPPY. Hugely powerful voice, he just loves performing, loves his fans, and what comes through is great positivity. ❤❤❤❤
John, these thoughts come from an enthusiastic listener since 1988, your absolute and great voice from Germany. I wish that after the operation and therapy, you will recover and be discharged from the hospital full of strength.
I love this! John you are the pride of Australia, we love you. I am so happy that I can continue to enjoy these video's. I have lived my life with you!
Missed the 80s, live in UK so unaware of the majority of aussie music, so having a big catch up. Not heard this song before. Just gorgeous, my insides just melt. ❤❤
I marvel at how he shared his inner spirit of love and joy so generously with everyone. Its awesome to see Gods amazing and happy grace in action!! John made and makes the world a wonderful place. Always love and prayers to John Farnham.
maria, in my humble opinion a very wise ,perceptive comment ,it's a sort of aussie version [that people can latch onto ] of spreading the presence and mind of god [haven't quite figured out who god is but in my book he's a top bloke and also does a bit of fishing and doesn't mind sharing ,{as crocodile mick dundee so shrewdly put it .i bet strop had something to do with that ,for the american market }] .it's totally understandable why we regard him as more than a bloody good singer .he's a patriot and has earned our love and respect . and we listen when he speaks . like with his drought/fire appeals . one of our best . and that band .they were more than a band .they were on a mission .

Bit disappointed with John's stance on those affected by the tyrannical lockdown in Melbourne using his song You're the voice as a rebellious anthem against a bloody disgraceful injustice inflicted on the people of Melbourne......Sad really.......But that's my opinion........I'm sure he'd rabbit on about safety or licensing....Whatever.....Should have just been happy people were singing his song.......
@@havanadaurcy1321 That's no good about your uncle. My mother has COPD....Why should she be forced to wear a mask making it difficult for her to breathe, when young health people are treating her poorly for not wearing a mask ? Why should I have to? I'll take my chances and I'm far from healthy....Who are these people who think their worries should be owned by me or my problems owned by them for that matter ?...More people are killed by sugar every year than by viruses, yet the government doesn't stop people from having sugar.....The whole argument is rediculous. You look after yourself and your uncle, I'll look after myself and my Mum.
What a disgraceful comment. I am from Melbourne and was more than prepared to lockdown and wear a mask. The mask is to protect other people, not just you , you selfish moron.
John has always been about love and compassion for others, especially the vulnerable. Covid was real and killed his best mate- Are you for real? Sheesh.
Hey John. Feeling a bit foolish now about freedom mass Australian rising? Still upset about everyday Aussies singing your songs for peace and freedom? Sidining with the man and not the common people. Who are you? Shame.

Yay-yeah
I had the worst reputation around
For chasing all the women in town
I thought changing my way of living was hard to do
But the worst habit to break baby, is loving you
I've done everything I've tried to do
But it's going to take a miracle to get over losing you, oh
I'm trying to live my life without you babe
