The Borrowers series by Mary Norton is about little people who live in the walls of big people. there is an anime version by Studio Ghibli called "The Secret Life of Arriety."

Hi - I'm Canadian. I recognized that Villager puzzle name - Banff - it's one of the most famous tourist towns in Canada - it is pronounced with a short a as in apple - banff. And the nff is sort of like when people say hrmmph or sounds exactly as it looks but with emphasis on the ff. I hope that helps! Loved your video!

Re: Sunsout puuzzles. I keep being drawn to the imagery on their puzzles but I do wish they would improve the quality of the pieces. I like the random cuts, just wish they were a bit sturdier. Their boxes could be smaller and sturdier too. I keep buying them though, because the price point works for me. I've seen the Indegenous Art puzzles on Puzzle Warehouse's web site; I look forward to seeing you do the owl. Love those colors.
I just finished 1000 piece "Out West" by Blue Kazoo. Blue Kazoo has absolutely awesome quality. I just wished that they had easier images. Blue Kazoo seems to have reduced their prices recently to be more competitive which is awesome.
They are tricky but at least your getting a lot of puzzle time in for the price!

@@thecasualpuzzler I just finished my second puzzle from you. The gradient was the first one I did and that was really cool. It had some hard areas but I liked it a lot. And I just did the quilted kittens.

OK I LOVED this puzzle haul. First up, Richard Scarry was around when I was a child- which was more than half a century ago. Then the puzzle that reminded you of the Borrowers - a series of British books by Mary Norton - also from my childhood, and therefore also more than half a century, lol. Incidentally, there was an anime film made in 2010 called The Secret World of Arrietty, loosely based on the books - I hated it, but my girls who were probably 10 and 12 at the time really liked it. What I mostly remember about it is that the old woman in the story is voiced by Carol Burnett. I am glad you are trying the Indigenous Art Collection. I have two, and love both of them. They use artists from all over North America, not just Canadian (it is a BC company) - one of mine is by a Cherokee artist. The artist you have chosen, Andrea Kimble is from Tsawout, which is one of the two Indigenous communities just down the road from me. Incidentally, Coast Salish territory traditionally encompassed the entire Puget Sound area, so her art style would be familiar in your area. AND I adore Villager puzzles and am super excited about her new collection. That Banff puzzle is on my wish list (birthday coming soon!). Banff is pronounced like camp, except with an f at the end. I have no idea why we say it with an M, lol. it is a resort town in the Rockies. Muskoka is also on my list (you were close - that middle o is like coke) - it is a lake region and cottage country in Ontario. Loved the Halloween puzzles too. And not to forget the Wentworth puzzles - looking forward to seeing you do these!

I do not use one but I know some use trifolds that you can get at Michaels. If you look at my puzzle accessory videos I know people have mentioned some options previously.

Thanks for sharing your latest puzzle haul ☺️👍🏻🧩♥️! I love the concept of the puzzle company that supports women in domestic violence etc. Just find them a little too depressing when I look at them. It's probably to represent all the emotions we go through when we experience heart break/hardship but for some reason it's not vibing with me even though that's a cause I would get behind in a heartbeat 💓!!
I am literally doing the Richard Scarry one right now with my kids! It’s the perfect family puzzle for older elementary age and a grown up. And of course the Blue Kazoo quality is amazing. My daughter wants to put it on her wall when it’s done ☺️
I really like the Victorian woman reading one, might have to get my hands on that. Not sure my kids would be as pleased, haha.
I’d love a video on smaller count (250-500) pieces puzzles, I don’t know if anyone on YT does those. I love 1000 pieces as the mainstay, but a good 500 piece is so relaxing and satisfying, and great for social puzzling with people (or kids) who are not serious puzzlers! New York Ouzzle Company and Buffalo make great 500 piece puzzles, but I don’t know of any other companies that are as high quality. Would love if you know any or could share some!
Actually I usually do under 1000 pieces. You should check out my Puzzle Round Up series. i share the puzzles I do in the month and 75% of them are 500 pieces or less.
