The middle eastern countries community frown on couples getting a divorce. And ladies usually are not remarried. Where it is easier for the men to remarry. And her family must take care of her. This is a financial burden to poorer families.
@cqammaz53 this is the case in many Muslim cultures sadly, including Asia and even in Turkiye which is my ethnic background. This is despite the sahabah marrying divorcees, and even our Prophet (pbuh) married a divorcee. In other words, it was very common for divorcees (both men and women) to remarry.
@ It is Consider a shame for a women to divorce. My husband is from Jordan 🇯🇴. And I’m American but I lived in Jordan for 17 years so I saw a lot of Jordanian life style. I’m not impress with the lack of equality between men and women and a few years ago Jordan changed its law that if a women request a divorce that she automatically forfeit her diary.

You guys are talking about very very important subject, especially about shariah and Muslims life, you must start with Bismillah in the name of Allah SWT Both of you not qualified to talk about divorce or any other major issues or subjects Asstaghfurallah i’m not being disrespectful.
