I've had my 2018 Mercedes AMG C63s Coupe for a year and a half and put 20K miles on her, it's been driven through all kinds of weather and snow can be fun but also life threatening lol

@@DuBstep115 Mike is not exactly the same type of car guy we are, just a regular dude that is into cars and might know a bit about cars but snow tires in snow is pretty much common sense
I drive my AMG in the winter all the time. My 2016 C63S is also tuned and modded. You just need great winter tires. The car is a great daily driver up here in Canada.
I’m in the Midwest where we have about 5-10 days of heavy snow a year (max). I’m looking at at amg now. You’re saying with proper tires and maybe some wright in the back you have no troubles? Blizzaks or?
@@hayesunified3670 late response. But in canada they are required to have winter tires. Some of the best tires will be blizzaks, and the x ice snow from Michelin. Weight would help in the back depending on the car. But winter tires do improve traction

You can drive any car in the snow with snow tires. I daily drive my C7 z06 in snow (285 fronts and 335 rears)

i hate winter so much, we had -35/40 here and quite the blizzard but today down to -12ish now, and stopped snowing. it will hopefully be gone soon so you can have fun in your car again. i know how much you enjoy doing that. loved your video as always

in Europe Snow Tiers are mandatory in winter but you dont want to use them in summer because they are made from softer rubber and heat can damage them
And also winter tire in summer is like summer tire in winter... Slippy as hell :D
Only in certain countries in Europe (that are known to have snowy winters in some area's), not in all countries..
@A real petrol-head But at least the Americans do not get screwed over bigtime by their governments when they buy a car.. Overhere we have taxrates of well over 100% on new cars, totally crazy.. Price BMW M2 in USA, 60.000 USD, price in my country, 100.000 euro!! So double the price, just because of stupid tax..

When you have no real cinematic eye or video editing skills, you have to just rely on "good content". But the only content he makes is stupid tail light swap mods or his car is broken down.
When you have invested +200k in cars that you are going to lose them if you dont keep those vids coming,
and the idea isn't even "new."

Mike, thanks for the C63s content (nice change from all the pickup truck content lately) What you should do is film more C63s content when the weather is nice and hold on to it and release it during the winter months. You're welcome.
Many summer performance tires have a minimum temperature that's considered safe for the rubber compound. Using some summer performance tires below the recommended minimum temp can result in cracks in the tire rubber compound.

You should’ve done an experiment of swapping out your tires /rims with dedicated snow blizzack tires to see if your c63s can actually drive through snow

Mike, Great content!!! I believe that you should do some tire reviews-not necessarily you C63, but your daily F-150. Get those loud, "maybe" illegal tires off and try some Bridgestone Dueler Revos for light trucks that will fit underneath your fender flares. Oh Yeah, great job on parking lot drifting!!!

How was he able to do all of this on summer performance tires and rear wheel drive? I have Pirelli P-Zeros for my Mustang, and I got stuck in like less than half an inch of snow.

Would the car be able to handle the snow if you had a set of cheap rims for some decent snow tires? Or put snow tires on the stock set of rims.
You should do a comparison of driving on summer tires and on snow tires. Would be good content also
