I'm so happy he made it to Broadway, it's sooo deserved. Peter is a beautiful person, inside and outside. I've been to lots of his concerts, and he's always so giving, he has such a connection with his audience. Congrats Peter! Hope to see you in Norway again soon.

He's probably my favourite phantom. I really wanted to see him live but I didn't in the end. Heard some of his other songs and he has such an amazing voice.
Michael Crawford (the original Phantom) has a similar voice to Peter! I think his voice is very unique and there needs to be a contrast between Raoul and Phantom.
He's so soft-spoken, I can't believe he can just flip the switch like that. That being said, he sings the song too aggressively. He needs to be head voice for the first half of the song, not belting.
Obviously you haven't seen the musical dozens of times, or know that 99% of broadway phantoms sing it in headvoice because the song is supposed to be peaceful and enchanting, not a belting ballad.
socrlax i’m not quite sure why you consider that belting, he’s quite controlled in the beginning and there’s not much contrast between the first few verses and the last ones. He really doesn’t belt at all. His voice is fairly weak in comparison to most Phantoms and I didn’t find it aggressive enough personally
Sorry, but the phantom's voice needs to be deep. Don't care how talented he is, if he sounds like little guy when he sings it's just not a good fit. There's nothing intimidating or impressive about his voice.
