@@ArcFX1 Well, New Dawn sets after the nuclear explosion and the event of Far Cry 5. It proves Both of these games share the same place in Hope County with the characters from Far Cry 5 like Joseph and Deputy.
SPOILER ALERT:
In case what happened to Deputy?, they've became the Judge in New Dawn by Joseph. That means they join with Joseph's side or cult after the end of 5 or before New Dawn. The scene appears in the DLC of Far Cry 6, Collapse.
This makes me think that New Dawn proves as the continuation(or second part) of Far Cry 5 which sets in the post nuclear explosion of Hope County. We play as another player due to the fact that Player from 5/Deputy became Judge in the game.

I like it, other than the fact that Dep became The Judge. I hate that you had to fall to all that conditioning, but a 3rd of the way thru, you just knew.
It's like how 3's Brody just felt mentally corrupt near Vaas's death.
I loved primal. Just the sheer enjoyment of riding on a sabertooth to battle as I fling bees towards my enemies makes me do just that.

I loved it on my first play and would defend the shit out of it on a lot of forums when it got hate.
I played it again about a year ago and started noticing a lot of flaws in the game, it's just overly simplistic. The enemies become predictable in combat and only perform like 3 moves, so taking them out becomes incredibly easy, especially the more you level up and unlock perks.
The game felt like it needed more of a challenge.
I don't regret playing it and I think there is a lot of potential that could go into Primal 2 if they ever decide to take that risk again. That world and environment was amazing. Just traveling around exploring the map and taking all of it in was a great experience.

I agree with the Shangri-la segments getting a standalone. I think it arguably did Buddhist mythology better than Uncharted 2

@@xpert577gaming3In the Mystery Box, it’s a pretty hard gun to get so I’d suggest focusing on perks and other weapons before you start putting points into getting it.
I actually really enjoyed Blood Dragon. It was a nice release from the usual serious nature of the series.

Peronally Far Cry Primal gets more hate than it deserves. For me Primal is ranked Best of the Spin-offs.
Nobody really hates it per say. It's just that there are others that are better.

Honestly I enjoyed primal more than any far cry release after 4, I wish the village system had a bit more than just 2 or 3 upgrades per area but I genuinely found it more entertaining than most other releases. You're encouraged to explore and to upgrade your equipment and skills far more than the other games

To me the best part of New Dawn was getting to finally kill Joseph Seed. I am STILL pissed of that we HAD to kill Jacob Seed but we couldn’t kill Joseph, who I deem a worse character, until the very end of New Dawn!

Far cry primal is still one of the best far cry games out there. They took a risk with changing the game COMPLETELY compared to anything else that came before, and it is a really nice game. It's just sad that they were bullied back to the original theme because people couldn't just accept any change.

It may not have the best story but the gameplay is one of the best experiences I’ve had out of a far cry game
I really really loved the idea of New Dawn. It's also one of the most beautiful, most visually striking games I've seen in a while.
I would find myself just standing somewhere looking at the greens the blues and the pinks. I wish it was a stand alone game with the visuals and mechanics of New Dawn but the QOL improvements that came with FC 6
Primal should be top on the list. It’s gameplay and the mechanism is awesome. I guess many didn’t play it.

blood dragon will always scratch a certain gaming itch for me especially when i would run a stealth archer build and only use the bow and takedowns
It ain't cheesy, Blood Dragon is an amazing game with an equally amazing soundtrack
Farcry primal is my absolute favourite. Playing on permadeath is one of the most wild experiences in gaming. I once got attacked by a bear and had to put the game down for three days afterwards. Kiting it around a rock while on 1hp, knowing if I die then I lose everything, it was so exhilarating that it shredded my nerves and I had to take a break. Just from a bear attack, which in any other FC game is a run-of-the-mil experience. Permadeath in Primal is something else.
New Dawn was pretty good.
Underrated for sure.

I've always loved the shangri-la missions, but boy how can I never thought about it as it's own game
Blood dragon was awesome specifically because it was just designed to be fun and corny. They leaned hard into the 80s tropes and it worked. The mechanics of farcry gameplay just work with it.

For me Shangri-La and Primal is my favourite. These two feel different some kinda different experience. Playing as Takkar is amazing he is the most strongest protagonist in my opinion and the missions are so beautiful. New dawn is good but the villain Rabbit girls couldn't make an impact like Pagan ,Vaas and Joseph. If New dawn had a strong villain it would be another great spinoff . Vaas dlc is so amazing too

I’ve only played/ beaten FC 2, 3 and 5 but despite playing 3 I never bought and played blood dragon and now I really really want to play what I missed out on and forgot about I love 80s action films and B movies so I’m sure it’ll be a great ride
Blood dragon is short and repetitive but still pretty good.

Blood Dragon is one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. Because it is utterly dumb, overly stylish, and just about having fun. It was and still is a total blast from start to finish. Short but never overstayed it's welcome.
Primal is just good fun, the villains are not the best but it is just good fun

Far Cry new Dawn is AMAZING. The only problem is it’s too short. I actually love it more than 5. It’s open word is much more beautiful, it has a much bigger and better weapon selection, I love that you have to utilize crafting to get weapons, the takedowns are 5x better, and the gameplay feels great. People just love to complain.
Honestly, I like Primal. Might just be that I'm a sucker for video games and stories in general set in pre antiquity.

I'm having issues with Farcry primal. For some reason the spoken language is in Italian but the subtitles are English. And I can't find a way to change the spoken language to English
