I awoke to one song, and immediately ran to my computer hoping that you had posted the songs at their times. Voila! Thank you SO much for sharing this music and the tunes that are being played.
In the '70s I lived in a communal flat in the Haight District of San Francisco. The flat came with a suite of Arte Deco dinning furniture including a large stand alone record and radio player. While everyone was into the music of the times, I would tune the radio to an NPR station that only played music of the 20's,30's, and 40's! Your channel brings back these pleasant memories! Thank you.
I'm listening to this music in these days to disconnect from the "unpleasant" times and it works. Incredible how this music too disconnected completely between two horrible world wars: an optimistic view. Sursum corda!
Cole Porter was a genus, Richard Rogers was a genus, Irving Berlin was a genus, Larnce Hart was a genus, Scott Joplin was a genus, George Gershwin was one of the greatest. There are plenty more I didn't list. Where are these people today ????
Oh my God, I have just found your cannel... I always get ready in the morning with Al Bowlly, Grappelli, Django, Coltrane, Brubeck... but this WOW. Im 39, how is possible this music brings me memories???
In these days I listen to this music in between the Agatha Christie series with Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple on this UA-cam channel. apparently this kind of entertainment is not controversial..
Many of these performers were still going strong in the '50s when I started work as junior stock-keeper, later sales assistant, in the Grammophone & Record Department at Harrods, Knightsbridge, London. What nostalgia!
Vintage means care and class and respect for those who came before us to bring us into the world to provide some a situation or the tools of scholarship to allow us to find our way. The journey more important than the instant here and now gratification which is just now becoming apparent to many. We have all learned and grown but few are living now and trying to respect the love life gives us in beauty. Will be nice to see the wheel turn round to traditions becoming more respected once again. Thank you very much for the remaster of these and the continual provenance of restoring a time where being out on in the park to sit and converse was a treasure.

My all time favorite songs of all time is ""Deep Purple" and I many recordings of it, but this is the first time I've heard the opening intro. Thanks for posting this beautiful album.
God how your channel relaxes me at a time when I really need it. Thank you so much for each one of your great collections. Makes me think of a time when people still cared at least a little anyway.
The old saying you can lose yourself in music is very true. In the 1920's this music was a major factor in the lives of many people. Afternoon tea dances were as packed as any nightclub today and it heralded in a change in social habits, dress and a less inhibited lifestyle. Dread to think what a modern feminist would make of a flapper but who cares!
See.. Her hair in a slick time. She pulls it over and wake the sound with Ralph in that moment her stockings is runtful but in that moment she has a drink of wine in her peach pearl system of love sitting there with her drink is her date for the night how do you do well in that day he goes off to get some yes a flower a flower of love and now he's into it no one is there to save her but when the night Ends her house is perfect. White white and maybe a trim of blue or yellow so now we are stalled a house a home and some love that is. dreamsofdreamsmakeitorlinewiththee*

I love this music, loved it as a kid and love it as an adult. Kids are missing out today on such great stuff from decades ago.

when the kids stress me out and I need my space I play this in my vintage setting room and tea or coffee I swear it's nostalgic and peaceful!!:)
that sounds so wonderful!
Maybe when you stress out your kids they also go listen this at theirs. So, maybe listen to it together and never stress out?
Oh my God, I have just found your cannel... I always get ready in the morning with Al Bowlly, Grappelli, Django, Coltrane, Brubeck... but this WOW. Im 39, how is possible this music brings me memories???

I love this music! Creates a sense of well-being, relaxation, and like everything makes sense. It's crazy how music can make someone feel so strongly!

Perfectly said!!
Yes, the introduction to Deep Purple is perfect, and I remain grateful.

ahh, Deep Purple, the perfect introduction, or whose is this melody originally?
I know it thanks to Art Tatum’s ’55 session.

That's great stuff! I'd love to buy from your site, but wondering whether the download will be lossless or MP3 (or any other similar lossy format).
Hi, thanks for the lovely feedback. Our downloads are MP3s encoded at 224kbps. We could possibly arrange other formats as required.
Cool, thank you. I bought 3 CDs, so I am good for now ;)
