Big Z is a lovely guy and probably the best strongman ever, he is a legend and my favourite strongman and I am from the UK.
Most people support people from there own country in sports.
However, it is Pudzianowski who currently has the most titles of the world champion from all strongmen in history ;).Greetings from Poland.
@@SebastianPolakk no it is not, he has no Arnold title, no IFSA title. Why do you only count WSM? Thats only one contest
IFSA was a competition only in years 2005, 2006 i 2007.
The title Arnold Strongman didn't mean much in those years.
Then only those wsm competitions in those years were important. Pudzianowski won them five times, even Savickas could not repeat it.
@@SebastianPolakk so IFSA only ran for 3 years what does this mean? All the stronger athletes left wsm to compete in IFSA and the Arnold classic had all the same athletes and was a heavier/harder contest. 1 extra wsm does not outweigh savickas 8 Arnold's and 2 ifsas that's just ridiculous
It's only once in a hundred generations that someone happens to be so immeasurably amazing, that the word legend itself is not powerful enough to describe this person.
If we're talking about Savickas, we need to find a bigger and more meaningful word than legend. He is mankind's pride.

I'm from the USA, and while I love our strongmen here, Zydrunas has always been a favorite of mine. I'm always happy when he wins. Not only is he a great strongman, but I really like his calm, collected attitude and focus. I hope he heals up well and is able to compete again. I would be very excited to see a 5th WSM title and another Arnold Classic win for him. Thank you for this great video and the subtitles!!

They don't know how lucky they are that BIG Z is working out around them. They can learn so many things from him.
zydrunas COULD TAKE ANYONE at his prime you name it. hes just old now and 2017 will show where he stands. brian shaw wouldnt beat a prime savickas and neither mariusz. this guy overhead is the king of overhead
He is king of overhead but Eddie Hall is like 26 years old and not for off on overhead lifting.
Eddie Hall is 29. He will never beat savickas overhead.
I never thought eddie would deadlift the 500 either, but he did
to be honest it wont be long before the main contenders lift it too, already 2 others tried it. big z is back this year, i think if hes fit enough he will destroy everyone else and have a great battle with shaw.
Emilios Powerballer Brian is a straight up better deadlifter though . Although he doesn't have he proportion and height advantage.

This is fantastic, just peppering him with good questions and pumping him for valuable information. You don't see that kind of thing in american or western european videos. Then they just traipse around the subject, as thought it would be "improper" to go straight for the jugular. But people want info, not ramblings!

He certainly looks different but to get back his strength he knows his weight has to increase.
I thought he was going to retire at 41 and reduce weight dramatically because carrying 160kg really becomes burdensome.
He is without doubt overall a great champion.
Yeah, he really knows what he's doing. You see, I weigh around 85kg, he's big, don't get me wrong, but he just doesn't seem like that much of weight :) I would never say he's 160-180kg

Can he come back?
I believe so, mate!
He is currently above 160 kilos even through his mass loss, he has pretty much only transformed to a better Big Z now. He also gained by his dramatic change around 13 kilos of muscle. What is more satisfying is, that he is going to compete in WSM and Arnold's again after his injuries are fine to go and will get back to around 175 kg for the competitions.
He was about 180kg, and yes that is very heavy to carry around, but he got a very bad back injury. Even so he still won Arnold Strongman Classic 2016, and that is crazy.
But bcuz of the injury he wanted to loose weight and rebuild his body.
And you have to remember one other thing, he is now a businessman and owns his own gym, he have done alot of photoshoots for his gym and to promote it. So if he have a very good looking and strong looking body like a bodybuilder, i think that is better for his business. So for him to go down to about 155 - 150kg and look very good, is great for his recovery and business. But he will gain weight to Arnold and WSM, i mean with Thor, Brian and Eddie at about 185 - 190kg. It will be hard to stay only 155ish kg
He said he will come back strong for Arnold this year and ofc WSM 2017, but we will see. He is still a legend and if this year will be the last or not. He is still in my book, the strongest person ever walked this planet. And i got to meet him in November 2016 together with Bill Kazmier, so i'm very happy :D

Looking good.. not as spent as many other aging sportsmen. Maybe it's because of his calm personality. I hope he will fully recover and make a comeback, although the competition has of course gotten much stiffer over the past couple of years.
