I watch your videos with interest and generally admire your work. But this is a terrible alteration. You should at least remove the waist band so that the final result doesn't have such lumpy darts on the waist band.
I do sometimes, it depends where the fabric needs to be removed and how much smaller the waist needs to be. On a pear shaped woman, sometimes darts and the centre back. For a man, normally I do centre back
Hello sir plzzz help me . I wanna buy a new sewing machine 4 my shop .. Which is the best from juki ddl8100e or juki 8700h ... Plz tell me sir .. I am confused....
I’ve tried altering men’s pants in this way, although I removed the waistband, took in the darts, then stitched waistband back in place. I did not find it acceptable. Darts above back pockets are usually minimal for a reason; if they’re too big, it creates an odd silhouette. Can’t imagine making a vertical waistband seam on an angle. Just from my experience.
I think loosing the band makes it neater and professional. Currently want to adjust a customer trouser but seeing this method am no longer doing that cos of time constraint in fixing it
I corrected/altered my pant today following this method. Worked like a charm. Thank you so much. ❤
Super idea. My son's uniform pant hip is too big. I adjust this method. Now it's working. Thank u so much sir.
Is there any possible to change 40 size pant to 34?
