You are a life saver. I've been trying to figure out a great way to crochet a shawl for my nurse practitioner and this is THE best shawl for it. Thank you and God Bless you and your family, always.
Just started this shawl. It is working up so fast. Your instructions are spot on and easy to follow. Looking forward to more of your tutorials. Thanks for all that you do.
I purchased two It's A Wrap balls of yarn some months ago because I wanted to combine them like you did here. I tried different stitch patterns (knit and crochet) and couldn't make it work. This tutorial I can follow and the start of my wrap is looking beautiful already! Thank you so much for sharing.
I have become your biggest fan! You explain so well, go slowly, and repeat. I’m a beginner crocheted and I am making beautiful things. Made this shawl for my sisters birthday and she wears it all the time and gets many compliments from people. I have made other shawl patterns and this is by far my favorite!
I love this pattern and that yarn so much, I just ordered the Foggy yarn and as soon as it arrives I am SO making this! Thank you, Jennifer! You are totally my crochet sensei!
Thank you for this great shawl tutorial. I got some really great yarn for Christmas and was looking for the perfect project that would show the yarn off properly. I can’t wait until it’s done! I’m really excited! 🧶🧶🧶
Hi, this is a great pattern. i ususally stay away from granny shawls and i do alot of complicated ones and i love doing them. But i love the way this one works with the pattern going across. i plan on making a few as gifts for the spring. thank you so much. it is so relaxing doing this pattern.
I ❤ this shawl and the colors! As soon as I finish my rectangle granny square blanket I am making for a Christmas gift, I hope to make this project. Thanks again for the lesson!
I had so much fun doing this! Simple pattern....oh but the secret is definitely two strands and the 6mm hook. Loved it so much… That I bought the same yarn in the color way Sea-glass. Making the same shawl! Thanks again!!
Thank you so much , ,I love your easy to understand instructions for making this beautiful shawl . 👏👏 I’m a beginner crocheter ,& practising on some yarn I bought from the thrift shop before I use the good stuff. 🙂
Thanks so much for posting this wonderful sand dunes wrap tutorial! I grabbed a cake and a size 6mm hook (yes, I'm daring, right! lol). I started working right along and was so impressed at how straight forward this was. I had a Lion Brand MANDALA Baby yarn in the Magic Moon colours. Its a light #3 and recommends using a size 5mm hook. Looking forward to working on this and see how it turns out! Thank you Fiber Flux :)
Beautiful! I think, if I make it, I would reverse the color progression by unwinding the cakes and rewinding into balls so that I start w/gray and end w/cream.
It's the gradient of sand, White for the dry, and as the sand becomes wetter closer to the ocean it darkens, then when the water is 1 or 2 inches deep its darker, then the blue-tan is deeper in the surf and the blue for the ocean past the breakers.
Thank you for sharing , I hadn’t crocheted or knitted in years, and just started back again ....I tried other shawl pattern , ending with only frustration. Your tutorial was so easy to understand 🙂 ( new sub ) 🙂 I’m half finished this one after only a couple of hours. I’m using Caron cakes, only because I had it on hand.....I’m heading out today to buy the yarn you used it looks from the video to be much softer.
I love the neutral colors. That’s beautiful and a good way to use yarn cake. It’s a wrap is really hard to find in my area but I can substitute. Lovely pattern ❤️❤️
Thank you so much for sharing this. I love this pattern. I have followed your pattern to the tea and I am almost at the end but I need it to be larger. I’ve ordered more yarn but I just realized how do I continue on since I’m done with the gray do I start with the white I’m not quite sure I would really appreciate a response because this is a gift for my daughter for her birthday. Thank you so much.
I love this shawl. it's beautiful I purchased the yarn and I am making this for my sister-in-law. However she's kind of petite and I would like to know what do I do after I reach the 34 in . I want to use the remainder of the yarn but I don't want it to be too big on her. I started with an size I/ 5.5 needle
I have learned that if you put the strands through a plastic bead it helps to hold them together. 😊 Very pretty! Thank you!!!

Yes! I used a J hook, so you would be able to find lots of yarn with that recommended hook size! :)
Gonna try to find this yarn or similar, into a rectangle wrap.
I'm working on a shawl now & I'm quite happy over how it's looking. *Thank you very much!* I'm wondering how could I turn this into a scarf?
Thank you so much for sharing this. I love this pattern. I have followed your pattern to the tea and I am almost at the end but I need it to be larger.
