This is incredibly beautiful 😍 Thanks so much for the tutorial. You are a great teacher, hon:) I just started crocheting in October of 23. I've made so many projects since then! All of my Christmas presents were homemade last Christmas, and I plan on continuing that every year. Just seeing our grandson, who just so happened, didn't have a shirt on the day we brought him his blanket I made for him! He snuggled up in it and felt so soft to him..what a great feelig that must of been for him and for Ma'maw too🥰
A great tutorial. No fuss, no messing around, just a great "you do it like this" approach. I like that. I may just give this a try. It's a nice, comfy pattern that I can get on with in the coming autumn and winter months. Thank you!!😊
The way I understand this tutorial is once you are on your own it's a repeat of rows 4-6. It would have been nice though if it was explained at the end of the tutorial as many of us have not mastered reading patterns yet. Beautiful shawl & in the process of making it now. Hopefully I can continue on without getting frustrated. LOL. Happy hooking
I know you made this video in 2018, but I absolutely love this shawl. I made it for my Mom for Mother's Day and for my mother inlaw as well. Thank you for the video it saved me from trying to think of something to give them, so now I made them something. Have a wonderful 2021 be safe and God Bless.
Thank you for a great tutorial. I'm on row 30. Just started it,and couple days ago. I'm using Lion Brand Mandala, the color is warlock. Very easy to do,and very lovely. I know the more rows, the bigger it gets, and the rows will take longer,as I go. But it's fun and addictive. And because the Mandala yarn is a light 3,I'm using a J hook.
Very beautiful pattern, I made it with 4ply red heart in color black, and it still came out beautiful and stunning, I added my own twist to it, thank you for sharing this pattern.
Only took two days to make first time. The shawl turned out great. I played yarn chicken at the border but I won. Takes the full two skeins, unless you want it larger.
After watching the video, I'm ready to try to make this beautiful shawl. The colors are amazing!! I'm a beginner but the video is really helpful. Thank you so much!!
Love the pattern. I am a little above a beginner in crochet, but I think I can make this. The colors are so lovely. Thank you for this pattern. Jacque Dooley
Hi. Just wanted to say I kind of altered it a bit and it worked out nicely. I was a bit stumped when I started as you can see from my previous comment but it turned out quite nice, thanks. It’s super soft and cozy using Loops and Threads Charisma yarn!
Gorgeous! And yes, I am absolutely making this! I have tons of Caron cakes that I bought that need using up, so it’ll be a different size yarn/hook but it’ll beautiful nonetheless ❤️ Thank you for this beautiful pattern!!
Thank you so much for this pattern it works up so quick and is really fun. I especially love that you showed us the hook trick with the last stitch I’ll definitely be using that on many projects. 💕
Another beautiful pattern Tamera. I'll have to put this on my "to crochet list". I've used Red Hearts Soft Essentials yarn for a project of mine and it does work up well and is so very soft. They have pretty colors too. Thanks again.
Thank you for this lovely pattern. You speak so quickly I had to replay this several times. Would have been nice for us newbies if you could have done a couple of more rows to make it sink in.
This worked up beautifully and quick in the linen stripe colorway. It's so soft and drapey. I'm debating the decoratve edge because I ran out of yarn after 4 skeins. 😊 Thank you for the pattern and video instruction. Now I'm off to make another one in a different colorway.
Hi Jannette Anderson! Once you complete row 5, the first mesh row, it's a repeat of rows 3-5. Two rows of solid dc and then the mesh row. When working into the mesh row, it's a dc in every stitch and chain 1 space. I got a little confused on mesh rows 11 and 17 because working into the center or "marked" stitch became just a dc instead of the dc-ch2-dc. Around row 11 or 12 I opted for 2 dc at the beginning and end of the row instead of 3 to straighten out the curve of the shawl a little.
Thank you! The repeats are basically solid, solid, mesh, while the centers change quite a bit. There is a written pattern and chart linked in the description!
Love the colors. Is there a written pattern? Also, what is the best way to keep this beautiful shawl around the neck, so it doesn't fall off? Is there a way to tie it? Thank you.
In my experience with patterns by Tamara, all her patterns turn out smaller than I expect. I don't know if it is her tension or mine but I although have tried to swatch to meet her gauge, I still have to adjust the pattern. That being said, I still like her patterns.
Finally an easy crochet tutorial for a beginner triangle shawl! Thank you...
Was looking for an easy pattern for plane travel and this one fit the bill. Ease pattern to follow and looks great, so far. Thank you.
I'm LOVING the YARN🥰
Lovely, simple shawl, yet looks intricate. Love your instructions

I'm having difficulty with this. Since you've made one is this just a 3 row repeat? I really want to make this but getting frustrated.
