I find this video excellent for me. Not many videos are catered for the very low handicapper. UA-cam videos are basically for the golfers who are double digit handicappers or above. This post is an absolute gem. Thank you so much .
Adam is one of the best instructors on UA-cam. His approach, knowledge, and instruction are outstanding. My favorite golf channel now and a new subscriber. Thank you for sharing the awesome content!!
I had the “leave the club behind and pull with the body idea” fit ages and wondered why I felt my swing was disconnected and wild. The small detail of it being the club head you leave back not the handle is so key to getting the hands into the correct delivery position. These downswing vids are helping me so much👍
Hi Adam, I came across your instruction videos on you tube and now am hooked. I’m 58 years old living in New Zealand. I have watched 100s of other instructors videos and they don’t come close to your exceptional knowledge and presentation. Easy to follow, not rushed and great demonstration of the breakdown and faults of swing. Exactly what all us need to improve. Wish I found you earlier. Please keep up the fantastic you tube videos and thanks for sharing your amazing content and expert analysis with us.
Thank you so much Keith! That means a tremendous amount to us! It is our goal to help change a generation of golfers for the better and you are living proof we are doing it! Thank you for watching!
Took so long to come across your content. Ive seen all the golf instructions and instructors UA-cam has to offer and I have to say you are among the best of them. Id love to one day get a lesson from you in person. Much love and respect from Korea
Thank you so much! It seems that we have a fair following in Korea! We have an incredible full swing master class we offer that we would love to get translated into Korean. If you know Golf and would want to help us with the translation please let us know at info@porzakgolf.com ! Thanks for watching!
... I'm large man with a big belly. Doing this move makes so much room for my hands to get through and I feel like I can really keep my chest over the ball. $$ -- Matching the hands to the hips helps with the syncing as well. I've got the master class, but these YT vids have diamonds in them.
Adam absolute gold dust everything thing makes perfect sense when explained and demonstrated so expertly , thanks for the videos I wish I lived closer for some 1-2-1.
Another brilliant video Adam. This lesson made me tighten my swing up and explained so simply what you need to do in the swing and more importantly…..WHY!!!! 👊
Sending this gem to several golf buddies! So much in this one (as always). Don’t know how you see all nuances of your students swings…….it all happens so fast 😊. BTW: love how you maintain your energy and excitement (and fun) for the process after so many lesions…….it makes your videos special and different.
Absolutely love this! Subscribed! I’ve been struggling with the right hip/early extension and over swing. Your demonstrations and breaking down the different steps totally makes sense. Next time I’m in SD, I’m booking a lesson!!!
I really appreciate the great content, thanks. Love the right hip back feelings, more videos like this combined with correct way and wrong way to then move the left side, i.e. does left hip push away from target line vs rotating around and back vs posting up on left leg to create vertical force.
i have the problem at times of the right knee and hip popping out and i can kinda see it in the corner of my eye but did not understand what was happening except for the bad shot. now i see the fix, thnx.
Just gained a sub! I feel like I’ve learned the most from watching you and I watch a TON of teachers. My dream is to play pro but I’m already 21 lol. What’s the latest you can start🤣
Adam, love this video and your patient instruction is a joy - you are a natural communicator. Can I check one thing? You talk about "fast hands" on the downswing, is this the case throughout the bag?
Oh yes! But you can make the adjustment for the more lofted clubs your hands feel faster and for a longer less lofted club the club head may be what feels faster as the longer have your club needs a little more effort to get past us and we want to present more of the natural loft of the club to the golf ball instead of delofting it like a short iron.
I love your videos and I don't know if you edit them but a lot of times it seems like you give them something to work on and then a very nice swing you're telling them something else to work on It's like they're not getting into the groove to work on the one thing you tell them but you must edit the videos
Eric Cogorno just reposted a video he did with Mike Malaska on how the hips should work in a straight line (not just turning) as though walking away from the ball. I looked up this video of yours to verify what you teach. Seems very much the same concept.
when i come down i key on pulling the left hip back and that works a lot of the time but i guess the hip bone is one big piece of bone and it seems what ever one hip does the other hip does the opposite so at times the right hip and the knee pop out and ruin the shot it seems. so i have to work on keeping the butt back. thnx again for the help.
Hi Adam, I'm a little lost on down swing. Should I be using my left hand to pull n relax my right or just rely solely on my weight shift ? Any advise as I'm always using right hand alot on down swing n creating chic wings . Thanks kin advance.
right around minute 8:20 you spoke really quickly that Frank "chunks" it when he does this. I find myself doing the same. The cure to that is just getting your hand through more quickly? Do you another video that goes over this point specificlly? How not to chunk when keeping your hips back?
At 6:05 Adam suggested he use a 9 iron vs. a 7 iron to start when practicing the swing sequence. At what point would it be time to "graduate" to longer clubs? Thanks.
A lot of things could cause lower back pain, early extension and lateral movement in the golf swing or two of them…. We always say however the proper golf swing stretches your body doesn’t hurt it
I am going through the master program now, I do get lower back pain when I swing now, I want to change my swing so I can eliminate my back issues, which drills do I focus on first? Unfortunately what I think I’m doing right however mostly doing wrong.
Totally off topic- I put you on 1/2 speed playback to get a good look at that last swing (yes, it looked great) and you all sounded like you were three-sheets-to-the-wind. 😂
I find this video excellent for me. Not many videos are catered for the very low handicapper. UA-cam videos are basically for the golfers who are double digit handicappers or above. This post is an absolute gem. Thank you so much .
watching old videos and finding golden info. wish more coaches talked about this
This video is top 3 results for golf hip rotation drill and now I can see why 👌
Love it!! So glad it has helped you!

Thanks Tony, we appreciate the acknowledgement, means the world!

Yes! This is a game changer!
Your teaching has me feeling like I could go pro and I have no shot in hell lol that’s how good it is
Great vids of your private lessons… happy to see you clarifying misinterpreted golf instruction.
Every golfer needs to see this video. LIKE EVERYONE.
Thanks Sean means the world! Thank you for the support!
Like the hand and clubhead discussion and what they do in the downswing. Would like to see more of that in these videos.
Great content as always.
Thanks Bryan, will try to do more of in future, thanks for the feedback!

Wow! Light bulb moment! I'm probably standing up in the backswing, because I don't turn my shoulders down enough! Thanks!
Man, I can't even begin to tell you how much your tips help me. I only hit 8-10% of GIR. Yesterday I doubled it to 16%. More power to you.
Let’s go!!!
One of the best instructional videos I have seen
Hi Adam, your instruction was great and enjoyed it very much. Hope to see contents on solving driver slice and pushed right. Thank you.
Frank is awesome! My son played a practice round with him. Very respectful and had a great attitude.
Thanks Lee, yes, Frank is awesome!
Every time he gives a little compliment, Frank says, "thank you". Excellent manners.

Greg Norman didn’t start golf until age 18!!! It’s never too late, just matters how bad you want it!

best little comment ever @5:15 "13"
By doing this move incorrectly will it cause lower back pain?
