You will need to back up your presets before updating or they will get wiped.
Yes that is a very good point!!
Top notch explanation. I just did it (2024) and with version 2.6, presets are not wiped out.

Can you just clarify... did you connect the USB cable only after you'd started the process and got to the green Update screen bit? It's just that the instructions clearly say to connect the cable and then power-on the computer.

firmware update is good, if the USB port will not fail you. I was skeptical at first and thought it will never occur on mine, but sooner or later it will happen no matter how hard you take care of it.
Definitely feed that back to Headrush. 👍🏻
