I’m two years into my curly transition and I foolishly gave myself a hair cut to trim off some of the damaged hair as it was so tangled at the back. Wellll it was a bad idea but it’s growing out. I will eventually have long curly hair so be ready world 😩😅

My hair is pretty long and I use a “ twist method” it works great on my hair the only problem I have is the last 4 or 5 inches is kit curly like the rest of my hair . I know I should trim it but I don’t want to lose the length 🌻🌻🌻

Ever since the quarantine and being generally on the outskirts of town (and surrounded by absolutely non curly haired people) I don’t go to the hair salon but have been wanting to cut my curly hair at home. The question is… how? Where or how do I even begin? I don’t like a lot of the tutorials I see on UA-cam because they seem very specific to the person/haircut…. I can’t trust just nipping at the end of my curls after I wash and style or straightening it and then cutting the split ends… what is an easier way?! 😭

Don’t worry, just keep taking care of your hair and your curls will come back, it may take you some time but if you are patient I’m sure they’ll come back.

I’ve been growing my hair for a year, and I’m not even close to your length! 😭 my bangs are finally about chin length, which is important because they are the curliest part of my hair, springing up to my eyes. So that can throw off how to cut my hair, where to put the layers. I just don’t trust anyone, so I’ve been doing trims myself for about eighteen months. I wish I could see your aunt.

I know you used the caviar one in the past so I wanted to see if there was a new one you currently use but I noticed no mousse in the new curly hair routine! I hve curly hair . How annoying it is to have to hold your head one way or another bc curly hair looks better when swooped to one side .. it’s beautiful. I’ve had curls for 33 years but I’m getting headaches lol
