I bought a pair of 10’s because of his f-100 video. Been looking for a change from the old flowmaster 40’s. Video of my 900hp blown dart 363 foxbody will be coming soon :)
I have a 530hp 332" SBF that revs to 8500, and I drive it on the street occasionally. The cops have harassed me for the LOUD, for the last 25 years, and now that I'm getting old, I want to see less of them. Current exhaust is 2.5" dual, straight "scavenger style" pipes out under the rear axle with old school 3 chamber flowmasters. I love the sound of this guy's truck, but I'm concerned about how loud my car would be at cruising speeds. I'm installing a 2.5" x pipe and then possibly go into 3" mufflers, with downturns just before the axle. Will the widows be quieter at idle and low speeds than my current setup?? At 8500 WOT it's going to sound gnarly, and that's fine, I like gnarly, as I won't be WOT with cops listening, usually. p.s. Each muffler has to be able to flow 583CFM.
100% the nicest sounding Fox body Mustang I have ever heard. I have always loved the sound of an x pipe on same length headers. Giving it ''that'' sound :) Fuckin right!

Reminds me of myself years ago lol. I owned 3 foxbody poontang getters in my day. I had a set of insane looking nascar/trans am kooks headers on a 86 gt that made that car sound like an indy car. You didn't want to race me and be beside me, I'd bust your eardrums. Damn i miss that car and i miss that sound. Gonna go cry now, love the channel! You and the boys be safe!

The older I get , the quieter I want my cars.. I had a 68 stang with a 428 that I ran (practically) straight pipes.. My neighbor moved in nxt door when I was 11. She had the 68 stang with a black exterior & exterior. I told her not to sell it til I was old enough to drive... When I was 17 , and she now had 2 kids , she asked me if I wanted to buy it.. Paid $1800 for it . I didnt tell my dad for 2 months...He hated that car ! For a few yrs she (the neighbor) would back out her drive & shred her tires.. So I kept it in "her" drive until one day , I was working on it on our carport... He asked what I was doing , so I told him.. At first he took my keys , which pissed me off . I refused to talk to him. So , he let me have the keys on wk ends. I could'nt drive it to school . Big bummer. But , in the last couple months before graduation he threw them to me & said , If you get killed in that car I'll never forgive myself... I took it to the airport to see what she'd do... My dad was right... It was extremely fast & got there extremely fast... I never went over 100 mph after that.. I guess in my 17 yr old mind that speed was survivable...probably not . I kept it til I wanted to buy some land. I sold it , but have regretted it ever since. 68's are still my favorite stang... I've had a dozen stangs since... Bought a new 84 fox body & a new 95... Both GT's . But , they would'nt come close to the power my 68 had... P.S. Even on my dads insurance , my premium was more than my dads car payment on his Old Cutlass... I had to pay my insurance , gas , repairs , ect... I think if more kids got into cars , they'd have less time to do other things...like drugs !
The best my '92 ever sounded was with 2 chamber flow masters through 2 1/2 . I had home built equal length long tube headers. The engine was a 351w with Chrysler 6.123 six cylinder rods and short skirt fully bushed pistons ( I built a long rod torque monster ) The old school GT 40 intake extrude honed with a good ole Granatelli TB. Dart heads with 18 degree valves. It was fun to build in the 90's. Worst day ever was walking to the parking lot at the school I worked at to find an empty parking space. That was '97. The cops figured it was on a container ship going over seas. I've never heard about it since then. Loved driving that beast. The too small mirrors and super close to the wheel driving position aside :D Great to see yours. Thanks for sharing.
Great choice. I have had Venom 250 on my 88 for 2 years now. There is good and bad loud. In my opinion Black Widow mufflers are good loud and chambered with lots of drone are bad loud
Spintech is really good, just not everyone's taste. It does sound wicked. But after your F100, Blackwidow is your jam. I respect that. Just with my truck, engine and setup, I wont do anything BUT Spintech because its a tone and an attitude no one has. The clips I heard with the widows sounded too metallic but I'm not spinning 6200+ like you are which is where the Widows and the X pipe thrive.
Craig I really like the upgrade you made the car sounds truly badass now in my opinion. I am subscribed on UA-cam to your buddies you guys know how to have fun
My 88 had 1inch 5\8 long tube headers to 2.5 x pipe directly into 3.5 borlas with 3.5 dump pipes . It was the $hi#, ridiculous. The dumps pointed down at the road bouncing the sound off the pavement for even more bass in it's idle but crazy high notes
Hell yeah man that sounds awesome. Gonna get these for my corvette. Ive got a 350 with LTH, 3 inch pipes, X pipe, and dynmomax mini bullets. Gonna slap these at the end.
@@albertvenable4122 if from factory the rods are decent they can take a whole lot more than you think. Good fuel to avoid pre ignition and a good tune to keep afrs in balance can bring a stock engine far
you can put a new mesh filter underneath the PCV valve, it just slots into the hole, no need for rivets or anything, I just replaced mine a week ago on my 86
Sounds awesome! Dropping an 800hp 557 in my ‘79 Lincoln, it will run +6500rpm, can’t help but think these might sound pretty awesome on it, but I’m doing electric cut outs when I get to the exhaust!!
I am wanting new mufflers on my Fox. Right now I am on the fence between the Black Widow 10" and the Dynomax Race Bullets but leaning towards the race bullets.
Man I wish I would of recorded some of my exhaust setups, I have some crazy ones on my foxbody triple x pipes custom chamber mufflers, anti reversion chambers, steel packs, side exhaust behind driver door in the back seat, my favorite was. Long tubes into 2.5" steel pack mufflers up into the back seat into a 3" double x pipe out next to the license plate
every time the Cops says (1st I heard you , then I saw you!) Will Be because you need Quiter mufflers. You need to add some Dump tubes or Electric cut aways, so it can be Quit & Loud.
Wicked brother. Blue oval for the win! Sounds almost as good as my ‘66 fastback as it screams through the Canadian Rocky Mountains powered by a 12-1 351 Cleveland
I should get some of those mufflers and stick them right my long tube headers in my truck so I can piss my f$$$$$$$ neighborhood 😂😂😂😂😂😂 those sound really good
We love it thanks for the support Craig #SoundsAwesome

For me it's either Flow Masters or glass packs. It all depends on the year of the car/truck.
flowmaster 40 best sounding on a 5.0
