Cyberpunk 2077 The Board Game from Go On Board!
Real time tactical based combat scenario driven system
Is it right for you? No FOMO here, let's talk perhaps why you should or should not back it.
Also, if you are interested, what's the best value? What should you get and what should you avoid? I'll break down expansions and ranking them content wise for those interested.
P.S. - Sorry about the dark video, though I think I've got it figure out now...:)

Very true. Captain Sonar is intended to be realtime, but the developers offer turn-based mode mainly to help players learn the game and the rulebook strongly recommends to use turn-based mode to learn the game and then play it realtime.
In my experience, people hated the game when I used turn-based to teach them. Almost to the point that they didn’t want to play it again in realtime. But when I pressured them to try the intended mode, they went from hating to loving the game. So completely agree, trust the developers that have been studying their game for years.
I find it disgusting, that they added ALL IN Exclusive stretch goals. feels so icky to me
it's just Garry and a miniature, not really something that anyone should care about

Hey Chris.
What the Hell happend from 4:40 - 5:27 with SO MUCH BETTER Video quality!?
Edit: and from 18:34 to the end!
GZ! Problem solved. 🎉
I'm backing this one but sticking to the base game + edgerunners for character variety. I feel like the best value comes from the core game anyway and missions included in expansions often feel like side scenarios.
And if my group likes the game enough, we could always pick these later at retail.
I'm missing out on the prophet but I'm not convinced that something I wanted anyway or that I would often play with.
I like the core design of the game with the boosters, the simplicity of the cards and the time based element. That's enough for me to back it.
I love Bullet and since I played it, I want to experience more time based games.
I'm honestly happily surprised by the design of GoOn board because they come up with interesting gameplay design.
I'd say, if they have many ways to create a character, and many combos of characters, it could be fun to figure that puzzle out each time. If your using the same characters with a few abilities you can switch up, not as fun.
Another IP that I was very interested in, yet not interested enough to part with my money after reviewing gameplay details. Keep up the great work!
I'm so out of this one it's not even funny. The theme doesn't do it for me, neither the timed gameplay, besides Im immune to IP based games... well I thought I was until slay the spire, so yeah there is that ONE exception.
I'm indifferent to Cyberpunk. We played the RPG in college, but not a setting I really like. SO many stretch goals and kind of iffy on aspects makes this an easy pass.
I would end up playing this solo so this is a skip for me. I watched the GoB solo demonstration (only video showing the solo mode which is also a red flag) and it looked too fiddly for solo play, with pausing/unpausing of the timer and the crutch token replacing a second player. More money for other games, so that's a win in my book
He was only pausing it in that video to explain what he was doing, as was a new mission. Wait for someone on BGG to make a solo automa 😂 the witcher old world one was amazing and it's how I play that game all the time now
@@markwilliamson3043that’s me. I paid $650 for CMON cyberpunk and then finished their solo mode for them.
@@markwilliamson3043 I think they recommend pausing the game for shuffling. It's probably just a nit, but I found the idea of pausing the game for shuffling (which looks quite frequent) to be contrary to the whole idea of a real-time game as it snaps you out of the rush.
@duchypuchy He did say if you want to pause to shuffle. you don't need to. Not saying it's not perfect, cause it isn't, but hoping they can do something to make it feel better for solo
@@markwilliamson3043 okay, I didn't catch that, thanks!
The lighs look cool, it looks better!
I need a video for Harakiri Blades of Honor so bad 🤣🤣
This game looks super ultra mega awesome!!! I’m all-in!!!
I’m all out
