  • These Terrarium Soaps are created by embedding succulent soap into clear melt and pour soap. They are perfect for any plant-lover! They are an intermediate project - we recommend getting a few batches of melt and pour soap under your belt before creating these bars. They require a good understanding of temperature, and a little patience.
    🌿 Find this project here: bberry.studio/TerrariumSoap
    The bars are scented with Lush Succulent Fragrance Oil which is a fresh blend of cucumber, bamboo, oakmoss, and sandalwood. It's the perfect fragrance for this project. Not only does it complement the green design, Lush Succulent Fragrance Oil does not discolor. The fragrance oil itself is also clear, which is important for keeping the base as clear as possible.
    🌿 Lush Succulent Fragrance Oil: bberry.studio/LushSucculentFO
    Have fun when creating your succulent embeds. You can use an opaque base (such at white or goat milk), or a clear base (such as clear or aloe) for a more saturated color. This project comes with three shades of green Color Blocks so you can create custom blends, make more than one color per batch, or create a multi-colored succulent.
    🌿 Kelly Green Color Block: bberry.studio/KellyGreenColor...
    It's important to keep an eye on temperature when creating this soap. We recommend melting the clear soap to about 140-150 degrees F initially, to allow bubbles to rise to the top. This helps the base to be as clear as possible. Then, it's important to allow the clear soap to cool to about 125-130 degrees F before pouring. If the clear soap is poured too hot, it can melt the succulent soap.
    🌿 Terrarium Soap Recipe:
    Embeds:
    Succulent Silicone Mold
    6 oz. Goat Milk Melt and Pour Soap (or Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base, depending on preference)
    99% Isopropyl Alcohol in a Spray Bottle
    Hydrated Chrome Green Color Block
    Kelly Green Color Block
    Green Chrome Color Block
    Base:
    6 Cavity Half Cylinder Silicone Mold
    26 oz. Clear Melt and Pour Soap
    0.4 oz. Lush Succulent Fragrance Oil
    99% Isopropyl Alcohol in a Spray Bottle

I’m new to M&P soap making so I’m thinking I will try a white melt and pour soap base to make the succulent and a clear one like glycerin clear melt and pour soap base. I can’t wait to try it. • @hopethomas1394
      @hopethomas1394 3 роки тому

      @@jjrondonSuarez I think its probably evenly split. I believe most sellers started as just for themselves or a hobby and realized they could possibly earn a little stash cash.😃 That's how it is for me at least.

      @jjrondonSuarez 3 роки тому

      @@hopethomas1394 Hi Hope, Thanks for your answer., it's not what I expected. Some people told me that it can be hard to make homemade soap, it takes too long, requires too many pots, it's hard dealing with lye, it's a hassle to clean up, it costs too much to get started, something else. What do you think ??

    • @hopethomas1394
      @hopethomas1394 3 роки тому

      @@jjrondonSuarez well I haven't made cold process soaps yet, that's my next adventure😃. I only do melt and pour. I don't find it terribly expensive, I bargain shop since currently I'm not working. I shop several different suppliers. The most expensive would be the moldings but you can find those low cost too. But again for me its a passion that can pay off.

      Melt and pour is ready-to-use soap. It just needs to be melted and customized to your preference. We do not have a melt and pour soap lye calculator like cold process, because you do not need to formulate the recipe. But, you can use our Fragrance Calculator to find out how much fragrance to use in your melt and pour recipe!

      It's diluted with water. We add few drops of the Brilliant Blue LabColor into a bowl, and pour some water until it looks highly diluted - it's okay to eyeball it, but about 1/3 cup should do the trick! Then add drops of the diluted LabColor until you're happy with the effect. You can always add a little bit more color or water to your dilution as well!
