I really appreciate that you leave things in like when the soap got too cool, so we can learn how to fix these kinds of issues, and to see that it works so well! Thank you!! :D
Another excellent video. Like that there are multiple uses for the succulent mold - soap, candles, shampoo bar, bath / shower bombs. Thank you for providing such great instructions.
My succulent mold arrived yesterday! Made 2 practice soaps yesterday and will make more today. The first 2 are so cute. The video on succulent soy candles will be the next project. My 2 daughters will love the soap and candles. Thanks Anne-Marie and Bramble Berry!
I absolutely love your videos your energy and excitement makes me smile. I learned how to make lotion by watching your videos. I wish I lived close so I could take classes from you. Merry Christmas to you and your Brambleberry Family! 😊
Anne-Marie, thank you so much for sharing this information with us. I’m new to M&P soap making so I’m thinking I will try a white melt and pour soap base to make the succulent and a clear one like glycerin clear melt and pour soap base. I can’t wait to try it. I know it says it’s an advanced method but I’m willing to try and see what happens. 😂 I love all your videos. Thanks again! Now off to buy the second mold. Yay!
Thanks for sharing your skills. Would you please share the link to the 6 Cavity Half Cylinder Silicone Mold? I can't find them online. Merry Christmas!
Hi Hope, I'm doing some research about soap making, and I was wondering if people learn how to make soap to make it for themselves or to sell the soap. What's your opinion on that ?? Thanks.
@@jjrondonSuarez I think its probably evenly split. I believe most sellers started as just for themselves or a hobby and realized they could possibly earn a little stash cash.😃 That's how it is for me at least.
@@hopethomas1394 Hi Hope, Thanks for your answer., it's not what I expected. Some people told me that it can be hard to make homemade soap, it takes too long, requires too many pots, it's hard dealing with lye, it's a hassle to clean up, it costs too much to get started, something else. What do you think ??
@@jjrondonSuarez well I haven't made cold process soaps yet, that's my next adventure😃. I only do melt and pour. I don't find it terribly expensive, I bargain shop since currently I'm not working. I shop several different suppliers. The most expensive would be the moldings but you can find those low cost too. But again for me its a passion that can pay off.
@@hopethomas1394 Hi Hope, thanks for sharing your expertise and experiences with me. I wanted to do a 15 minutes Zoom interview and ask you a few more questions related to soap making. I always send those whom I interview a 25 USD Amazon Gift Card when we finish. Please let me know if we can do the interview. All the questions have to do with soap, nothing complicated. Please let me know.
I love your channel and thanks for inspiring me to make embedded soaps. Although I use rubbing alcohol as directed I still get some bubbles during the setting process. Do you have any tips or advice on what I can do to avoid this happening?
I'm really confused I just watched you elaborately put light accents on that succulent and yet when you pop them out a few hours later I don't see any with accents?!
I love it ..I have 1/2 of the materials the blue color it's with glycerin o alcohol 🙄🙄🙄📓✏🇺🇸🍷👍👍thanks I will show u soon some of my soap...😍😍Thanks again again (teacher)
I ordered everything to make this soap and I made the mistake of only getting one pound. I didn’t even think about it. So I ordered some more so I hope it doesn’t take too long. I already had to wait two weeks and I’m very impatient
It works well when the clear soap is 125-130° F to pour over the succulents, the full recipe is available here: www.brambleberry.com/articles-and-projects/projects/melt-and-pour/terrarium-soap-project/PS000215.html
We added a little bit of super diluted Brilliant Blue Lab Color to create a clearer looking soap. Bluing changes the tone of the clear melt and pour base from a yellow tone to a more cool blue tone. This creates the effect of a more crystal clear soap base.
Does this technique change with a hot or cold process imbed? I've been pouring clear melt and pour with glitter etc on the tops of messy hot process soaps to make them look prettier, and they (usually) stay stuck together lol.
Hi Linda, I'm doing some research about soap making, and I was wondering if people learn how to make soap to make it for themselves or to sell the soap. What's your opinion on that ?? Thanks.
We have lots of great recipes on our website for making melt and pour soap. We would suggest taking a look through those to find a recipe you would like to create. www.brambleberry.com/articles-and-projects/projects/melt-and-pour
Melt and pour is ready-to-use soap. It just needs to be melted and customized to your preference. We do not have a melt and pour soap lye calculator like cold process, because you do not need to formulate the recipe. But, you can use our Fragrance Calculator to find out how much fragrance to use in your melt and pour recipe! Fragrance Calculator: www.brambleberry.com/calculator?calcType=fragrance
I believe it's just blue soap coloring with water. You can most likely get it anywhere they sell melt and pour soap making materials. Correct me if I'm wrong.
It's diluted with water. We add few drops of the Brilliant Blue LabColor into a bowl, and pour some water until it looks highly diluted - it's okay to eyeball it, but about 1/3 cup should do the trick! Then add drops of the diluted LabColor until you're happy with the effect. You can always add a little bit more color or water to your dilution as well!
These look GREAT! I hope by now you have made some kind of attempt to improve on the labels of your products. Mine rub off and I can't read anything but the Bramble Berry "B".
It's not extra it's common sense, it's important to check the temperature often because if you're even like a degree off can ruin the correct consistency.

I'd love to see this as a round soap
My exact thought! I wanted to know if the half sphere mold could fit the succulent diameter.

I thought she said “wine colored succulent” and was so confused
Hell's Kitchen Kritter and Friends no she said “one ☝︎ color succulent”... lol 😂 it does sound like wine 🍷
What size are the soaps? I'd like to try to make them. If and when they come out right, I would like to put them in boxes.

Beautiful soap! I love the "bloopers" at the end 😆
Super nice idea of using the flower designs inside.
Buna, te rog mult sa mi spui de unde procuri (firma) Mult Pour transparent atât de clar multumesc. Vizionez din Romania
Does this soap really good for bathing? Or is it that type of soap that you put in your guest bathroom for decoration?
No matter how hard I try or how many different ways I try, I cannot get these to stop trapping bubbles in the leaves of the succulents
Do you make antibacterial soap? And if so could you show us how to make it?

What is the correct temperature for pouring the soap over the succulents?

@@bramble-berry what did you mix the blue with ? Oil ? Alcohol ? More soap ?
I have several cured cold process succulent soaps. Could I use those in the same way?

Why does the microwave look like it’s wooden? It’s tripping me out. XD
it's probably a vinyl sticker...
Is there any other way to do shipping besides priority? The shipping was more expensive than the item I wanted.

Yes the mould is Cool but is the £40 ($50) shipping to the uk necessary 😐
Can you add apple cider vinegar to melt and pour soap
What do you dilute the blue color with?
We used water to dilute the LabColor.
My embeds tend to dissolve in the outer soap
Your second layer may be too warm. Try lowering your temperatures by 5 degrees and that should help!
@@bramble-berry thanks. Will try

Do mo soap also has calculator like cp soap? If i want to do in large scale of mp soap?
