Hello Keith, it's been a while. I am having great difficulty getting the screws loose on the arm so that I will be able to oil. As a matter of fact, I haven't done anything else since you last helped me. The machine is still intimating Ugh! However, when I get up the nerve the problem is the oiling in the arm area with getting the screws loose. I see that you are using what they provided however, that tool does not work for me. Can you please help?
Hello! I’m sorry to hear you are still intimidated by the machine! But it’s definitely understandable. It’s always hardest to break the screws loose the first time you have to do it. You can also get a tool set like the one in this link and it will give you more leverage to break that free other than using the simple tool they provide. I believe the first time I broke the screws loose I ended up using a wrench on this small tool to break them free. a.co/d/hC32tId
Where can you get our screwdriver for the bobbin plate. lol. Might want to let them know where to get the screwdriver. Just saying. other than that, good tutorial.
Good point 😅 I appreciate the feedback! And this actual angled driver came with the machine, but you can find similar ones on Amazon. Look up “mini ratchet set” and these tools work amazing.
I don’t change my needles very often at all, only when they either continue to present an issue or the needle actually breaks. most issues due to a dull or spurred needle is the top thread shredding continuously
It’s an air compressor from wal mart. And the spray head I had to buy separate from wal mart as well. You can also get a moisture filter to keep from spraying in moisture into your machine. Definitely recommend the investment! Air cans don’t last long and don’t provide much pressure
It can be hard to get the plate off for the first time. You really have to apply pressure into the screw as you pull it. If you have a small enough ratchet wrench you can put a Phillips head bit in it and it works a lot better
Thank you again Keith. I needed more muscle. I will say it will not be tight like that again
Always good to have some muscle around the house! Lol pleasure is mine!
I check thread tensions with the Letter “I” test after oiling the bobbin and plate area. It’ll draw up any excess oil. Nice Tut!!
Perfect idea! Kill two birds with one stone

Thanks for another 🔥🔥🔥 tutorial Bro..How do you check/adjust your tension?
Appreciate you bro! Glad it’s helpful 💪🏽
I’ll do a video on tension adjustments ASAP
Where can I purchase an air compressor like you have in the video? Thank you.
I got the compressor from Lowe’s, it’s a craftsman. Then I bought the air sprayer connection from wal mart.
@@AWGCreationsLLC Thank you.

what's that air thing you used to blow out the bobbin im asking because I use an air can but that looks way better

Hi! Could you tell me what tool to purchase to get the plates off if the tool provided with the 1010 was lost?
Look up a right angle screw driver on Amazon. They make little right angle ratchets with different bits that come with it that would work perfect
I’m having a hard time removing the screws off the plate. They won’t loosen. I feel like I’m stripping them
