Trust me, NEVER call an Asian person a Banana unless this person describes him/herself as a Banana first. My husband is Japanese but he was raised in boarding school in Switzerland and then the US, the UK, France etc, so although he is fiercely Japanese on the inside, he is also extremely western in his way of acting, but he is completely Japanese when it comes to his appearance and way of thinking, So he is like a boiled egg inside a banana.
It's funny they used a totally different take in the trailer, where Rachel is more aggressive with the "bok bok b----" and Awkwafina responds "okay, maybe not as aggressive." (my guess they did that for pacing)

I did know...but "Rachel" graduation from a nearby high school in central Virginia....I did research on this film....to speculate on how accurate it was/is.....per what I found....this movie is not even close....in a lesser way...they do it over the top....there is wealthy.....there is rich...and then there is Chinese over the top rich....🎉
