@@Mercury3312 it does but it only comes at idle when warmed up, I actually had to replace the iacv (I think) when the idle was too high. when I put a hose on the water pipe on the back of the block (poor man’s stethoscope, lol) and listen to it, the whining noise gets louder so I’m thinking it might be the water pump, it’s less than 20k miles but almost 6 years since I replaced it. I’ve ordered a new timing belt kit so we’ll see!
If it goes away when you open the throttle, it’s most likely IACV, clean it up, check it out, wtv you gotta do.

@@Mercury3312 plus the sound is definitely coming from the engine by the alternator, hence all the foolin’ around with alternators 😂
