One of the best things about those forks is when you are turning around, everyone gets the opportunity to admire that amazing bike from multiple angles!!!
I never have Idol in my life excluding my Father and my mother(They're for sure), but you Le Dan, you are my IDOL, always will be... If i have enough courage and money, i'll be in touch(at your place) with you even just to see your face... I have never seen a human like you with low end budget(means individual; not from sponsored by a company) who can do this such kinds of this things... For last, I want to be like you with all your GREATNESS but will never come as I have made a family now... But will never miss your video like i use to... Hats offf... You are a dream what i like and want to be... Hats off
total winner Lee Dan , you made a chopper to fit in well with those of the 1970s in the USA , it is beautiful work indeed ( and I don't usually go for choppers) is a credit to your efforts , Allan from Australia
that looks great, very back to the 80's look and the noise the engine makes sounds superb, top class piece of work from the most original bike builder on UA-cam, great work and thanks for sharing it with us all
never clickbaits, always shows the clip of it running first... one of the best channels there is... i think hes blown a few neurons this time though, making those forks...
Watching this being built is actually quite relaxing. when you watch someone building something they know what they are doing and have a full understanding on how to do it, it becomes an artform. And I can appreciate the chopper as much as the next guy. Having said that, the style of suspension being used on the front forks, and the geometry of them, while beautiful and a serious nod to the past, is enormously impractical and seriously dangerous. The necessity to evade sudden roadside obstacles that eventually will crop up from time to time will make quick evasion very difficult to avoid. Add the fact that the suspension is unstable at higher speeds, prone to continual bounce, and the chopper frame style has placed the tank, handlebars and front suspension components directly into the rider's field of view, obstructing his forward vision of the road immediately in front of his front wheel makes the combination outright dangerous. Motorcycles are a far cry from four wheeled vehicles and the wheels of a motorbike act as a gyroscope, at any speeds above approx. 10 mph which facilitates the need to counter steer in order to properly handle the bike at any reasonable speed. and then pair that with the geometry of the chopper makes this bike, and any others built like this, a dangerous combination owing to the fact that the handlebar needs to be turned so far in order to make a tight turn, relatively speaking. Although this bike looks great, and sounds great, I can see and hear some obvious issues with it, and I for one, would never buy such a vehicle. it also seems to me that this chopper has engine issues at higher speeds, as it sounds like the engine cuts out at WOT or misses and could be a problem with excessive lash in the timing chain, also, the drive Chain is not properly tensioned and is all over the place when driving. SO, I think that while this is an excellent first built kind of engine, there is only so far you can go with a "just wing it" mentality of the motor build. timing will be an issue, high speed performance will be an issue, safety and maneuverability will be an issue and least of all, COMFORT will also be an issue, as anyone who is not used to holding their arms up in the air for long periods of time will quickly understand after riding this bike for any reasonable amount of time. My advice is to take the engine out of this frame, and construct a frame that is more comfortable and has a design that is within a minimum of 50 years to our current time. and make it with modern suspension components and geometry and this bike might actually be safe to ride around on, and show off to people as you travel around. after all, it's not every day that a person can say they built the bike they're riding around on, including the engine. Oh, and perhaps try switching to either a belt drive, which will give great throttle response or better yet, make your own SHAFT drive, which would also be an engineering coupe! Otherwise, you did an excellent job. No doubts you have a clear understanding of the engineering of a motorcycle and it would be very interested in seeing what you could do if you were to go to a technical university and become a solid engineer. You could do very well for yourself!
Wow that was a fooking encyclopedia response. Send the guy an Email I just wasted all my data for this month just reading that 75 page manifesto holy shit.... Lighten up Francis let the guy build and ride what he wants. I'm pretty sure if he can accomplish building this engine that he's aware of the risks and things that could arise from ona bike like this.... Keep on doing you LeDan. You are UA-cam's 3rd greatest fabricator and 6th in the world. Bravo!!
Hell yeah brother! Awesome job on the engine and bike! This forks are about the longest I've ever seen! But what you have going for you is how light the bike is overall, so I'm sure aside from Turning radius it's maneuverable... Either way cool as hell!
WOW!!! You have done it again my friend. I look to you for amazing projects and incredible engineering every time. I can't wait to see the next idea you share with us. 🤘😁👍
Absolutely incredible. Your imagination is boundless. You're a genius, and that motor sounds sooo good. If I lived near you I'd try to buy one from you.
Dude, you should have ten million followers. You are a highly skilled individual and you document the build superbly. How many camera lenses are you going through with all that metal flying around?
wow amazing, I like this, you have broken my opinion, that you can only build machines, it turned out to be beyond my expectations, you really built a motorbike... I really salute you, good job bro..., I'm your fan from Indonesia
Wow, it looks like this is a clue for the future, it will carry the chopper concept for content. Can't wait to see this bro modify/make a machine for the chopper genre. Hopefully the next content will create a Harley Davidson configuration model engine with a basic moped😂
I wrote before that I hate the very idea and looks of W3 engines. But this one shows off your craftsmanship really well (and sounds rather nice) - and thus, if you are putting it in a chopper, it needs go in longitudinally so everyone can see it even with the rider on the bike. Try to make an outrigger in front of the frame to mount the engine on, and the transmission directly behind it on the frame proper. Call it the Dubya Crown 👑
I predict timing chain issues, unless you installed a bigger chain. Spinning two more cams loads the chain more, so now it has 3x the load it was designed for!
Your skills and craftsmanship are amazing! Have you ever thought about attempting a wankel rotary build. The manufacture Sachs had some interesting aircooled designs they had on a few snowmobiles and motorcycles back in the 1970s.
im not sure about bike design bro, but congratulations anyway! you are incredible pro in engines design, hope you will create your own world famous company!🎉
As an engineer, you've done a fantastic job on that engine, and a lot of thought has gone into that design. I have seen these years before using H D engines. What a shame that no thought at all went into the rest of the bike.

Just incredible work, how you plan out these engine build projects is beyond me
that looks great, very back to the 80's look and the noise the engine makes sounds superb, top class piece of work from the most original bike builder on UA-cam, great work and thanks for sharing it with us all

Awesome creation! Awesome machining.
Cheers from the U.S.
Incredible work as always... the end product makes a Lovely sound.... I love your take on the wild choppers!

Sounds great Dan you are a legend. Love the engine. Be safe in your safety sandals.
What an incredible engineer and builder you are. Fascinating.
Awesome chopper bro. Cheers from Australia
Fantastic work .Really great job. Thanks for posting .
That's really cool even though it may have the same turning radius as a bus.
😂😂😂❤👍
😂😂😂.
😂😂😂
Turning radius isn't that bad on a bus. I drive many of them
My favorite part besides the engine is the pointed lower frame rail. My eyes are just drawn to it. Admiring from the USA.
perfect from engine to body every thing made according to your own design truly a great achievement👌
Engine sounds wonderful, very snappy and distinct exhaust note
Best home made bike I have seen .. So much talent you have❤❤❤❤❤❤
Woa that is so cool, thank you for sharing the process. This is giving some ideas !
nghe giống Harley quá a ơi, good job !!!!!!!!!!! 💗💗💗💗
What a masterpiece build, thank you Le Dan
Gosh dude, you've nailed, i never get tired watching all of your results, n always save it to my playlist, hats down for you, greeting from Indonesia
Of course that engine has to be mounted in a chopper! Cool build. 👍😊

I love the riding boots. They must make your feet feel so safe !!!
Phải vậy chứ.anh phải chế tạo luôn chiếc xe mới phát triển được chứ chỉ làm máy thôi không ăn thua.chúc anh thành công trong mọi dự án ❤
Love it! Nice work my friend

Nice to see the engine in a bike.
Cool build.
Good job amazing man creative
Superb work man
Bạn rất thông minh và khéo léo nữa mình ngưỡng mộ bạn
😎 Sweet!
i think it needs tassels hanging from both ends of the handle bars.
I always enjoy watching your machining skills in modifying small engines into impressive creations. 👏 👍this one is a very cool creation!
Fine work young man, been a fan and follower of yours for years now

Dude, you should have ten million followers. You are a highly skilled individual and you document the build superbly.
How many camera lenses are you going through with all that metal flying around?
Blown away. Skill level beyond belief.
Very cool!
TDS Garage from Brazil did a V-twin bike too.

Sounds awesome and amazing build
Great job le dan, with love from indonesia
its awesome, i'd love to see it in a custom sport bike frame like Ducati does

Present Bro from the Philippines 🙋
im not sure about bike design bro, but congratulations anyway! you are incredible pro in engines design, hope you will create your own world famous company!🎉
Respect from Belarus!
Ustam eline sağlık süper olmuş
Nice 👌
WoW....Good job bro👍👍👍
Awesome build
For your next project, I’d like to see you try building an R.E.P. fan (semi-radial) engine and maybe put it in a cafe racer style bike.
Next level machining. When we can see radial engines? :D
fantastic sound !
Very nice. I like your work.
bro i am your big fan, i always wait for you to make a 150cc engine experiment with 4 cylinders
As an engineer, you've done a fantastic job on that engine, and a lot of thought has gone into that design. I have seen these years before using H D engines. What a shame that no thought at all went into the rest of the bike.
engine and sound is superb!
I am from Indonesia and I really like all the videos from this great guy, can I send you my 2 motorbike engines to be made into 2 cylinders?
