Hey friends! I’m Sierra Schultzzie and this is my vlog channel with my husband, Stephen. We started vlogging 5 years ago to document planning our wedding and growing together as a young married couple, and the channel has now really become our passion project. This made me laugh, as I was really sick over easter and it was raining a ton all week... So the easter bunny clearly did not want the eggs to get wet and waited for a day where the weather (and I) was better!
The best thing about little kids is they have no concept of time! My kids’ first five or so birthdays always magically fell on Daddy’s day off work. 😂

Ok but can we talk about how LUCKY little Alice is?! Not only does she have incredible parents, but OMG she has an amazing Big Sister in Grace!!!!! I’m looking forward to seeing Grace step into this new role.
Had cholestasis with 3 of my babies all boys my little girl I didnt have it with. My first child was a still born at 37 weeks my next one was born fine at 37 and my last boy was born 34 weeks in nicu for a week…make sure to keep an eye on your liver for the rest of your life. 13 yrs after my still born and my heart still dropped when you said itchy hands and feet I knew immediately 😢 glad your girl is here and safe

I teared up looking at your IG post so why I'm shocked that I'm crying watching this is beyond me. CONGRATS!! You did amazing! And I know you said you were apprehensive about your life changing but from my personal experience and that of many parents I've talked to, I think your best days are yet to come. I was induced last year unexpectedly at 37weeks. I suddenly was having terrible headaches and brain fog at 35 weeks and was hospitalized 3 times for stroke level blood pressure and was diagnosed with gestational hypertension. I was put on blood pressure medicine to manage it until my induction at exactly 37weeks. I delivered a healthy 7lb 14oz baby boy.
Stephen comforting words, not making you feel like you were over reacting but giving you the reassurance you need it is everything, you have such a wonderful partner, I'm so happy for the both of you ❤

Yes it was so bad for me I suffered a lot too and my daughter ended up in the nicu afterwards with a bad pneumonia infection for like 2 weeks, 😮
I am only a few minutes in and already tearing up over how emotional and scared you sounded Sierra, and then Stephen coming in being so supportive and reassuring was just 🥹❤️ so happy everything worked out and you all are happy and healthy!
Thank you for sharing this with us! My son is going to be 1 in a couple weeks and we're starting to talk about baby #2. The thought of him no longer being an only child is so scary, but we can't wait to give him a forever best friend. My boyfriend just broke up with me and I am so very sad. Watching you and Stephen’s love for each other and your children has made me feel better..as a single mom I don’t even know what it feels like to have that kind of continuous support you are very blessed and lucky
I’m watching this after knowing sweet baby is fine. But I immediately burst into tears when you did. My baby was in the NICU and I still get so emotional. But I’m happy that she was healthy and didn’t even need to be supported ❤

I’m sobbing watching this. If I hadn’t seen her on your instagram yesterday before I watched this, I would be losing my mind right now. I went through something very similar twice; once baby didn’t make it, and the second time he did. After that I was through having babies because my heart could not take this kind of breaking again.

I really needed this today… I’m 31 weeks pregnant and started itching like crazy this past weekend, so I’ll be going in tomorrow for testing. I needed the happiness and excitement that you guys were experiencing at the end of the vlog. Thinking about you and your family ❤

My baby is 5 months old today so I was just in your shoes! I was doing SO MUCH prep/nesting and had a super long list exactly like that. But one day I felt like mostly everything mandatory was done, and I told him to please come early and he did at 38 weeks 😅 And I was freaking out about who would look after our 4 year old but thankfully it all worked out. You got this! Also, I tested positive for Group B Strep both pregnancies and had to get super painful injections of antibiotics and I felt similarly, like “If I’m complaining about ONE injection and I’m about to give birth, that’s pretty sad!” haha but it’s all valid.
Being a family of four is so much fun and you’ll love it! ❤

Congratulations on your new little one! Our babies were due around the same time. My son also came earlier than expected, exactly 3.5 months early. So I definitely understand the stress that comes with the unknown.

My mom went to the ER at 29 weeks not feeling very well, she was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome and was induced and had me that night 😅 I’m now 25 and beginning to think about having my own children and wow… I can’t IMAGINE the stress that comes with your baby coming early! Especially when it’s due to a medical reason. So glad you and Alice are good ❤
Watching these types of videos after the events have happened just make you want to reassure them. I wish could reassure this version of Sierra that is so scared for her unborn daughter that in just a few days she's going to have a beautiful, healthy, baby girl. That she's going to get to watch her loved ones love and hold her just as she has the past 9 months.

Sierra, I don’t know if you are a believer or not, but about a week before Easter I suddenly had the urge to start adding you and baby girl to my prayers. So I was very glad to see on Instagram that she had arrived safely. I am glad that you are doing well now, and hope that you are taking time to soak into this new transition. I am sure that Grace is already proving to be an amazing big sister, and I look forward to when you return to the vlogs after your maternity leave.

Currently 35 + 2 and diagnosed with cholestasis at 32 weeks after me pushing to get tested after having intense night itching for weeks. I now get in office testing twice a week to make sure baby is ok + am scheduled to get induced at 37 weeks. Cholestasis is supposed to be super rare, but I honestly think it is underdiagnosed. Definitely can be scary with some of the limited information out there, but happy to see a positive outcome for you!

Sierra, I’m so sorry that you went through this. It’s incredibly scary. I can relate. At 29 weeks, I got told I cannot work anymore due to mild preeclampsia and had to do NSTs multiple times a week and by 31 and 4, we were in an NST and sent to Labor and Delivery due to his heartbeat dropping. Within two and a half hours, we had a baby. He spent a month and a half in the NICU. But he is home with me and okay now. I’m so glad your little one is okay.
