About Sierra and Stephen IRL
Hey friends! I’m Sierra Schultzzie and this is my vlog channel with my husband, Stephen. We started vlogging 5 years ago to document planning our wedding and growing together as a young married couple, and the channel has now really become our passion project. We love creating travel vlogs, disneyland vlogs, showing behind the scenes of creating my fashion and lifestyle videos, and all the little ups and downs of our unfiltered, real life. We loved documenting our journey trying to concieve and getting pregnant, are now so happy to be sharing our experience as first time parents to our daughter, Grace.

I LOVE that Kenzie came to have a sleepover 🥺 your support group is so wonderful.
“I got 5 hours of sleep, so I feel really good!” Only a mom would say this. 😆💕
Accurate.
lol you gotta be kidding me, plenty of people only have time to sleep 5 hours a night, not just moms
Right! lol
I hope when I will be a mom, and this happens that I can say that.. because now I feel bad with 6 hours, but extremely bad with 5 hours or less. But I also have had multiple diseases like mono/Pfeiffer which made me very tired.. so I do feel like I'm more easily tired than most other people. But I hope my maternal instinct will keep me awake and feeling ok when the time is there for me.
@@Nunya-s1h Nope, that is not 'not having the time', that is just not prioritzing your sleep. And moms don't have a choice really. The baby wakes you up to be fed. And also : other people mostly do sleep 5 hours straight, but moms often sleep 5 hours in intervals.
Lastly: why do so many people want to make a contest out of everything? It's probably something younger people/Kids do, cause I know only one person abovr 35 who is like that, but still.. I never had that urge, so it's hard to understand for me.
English is not my first language, so sorry if I made mistakes
It was so fun to be pregnant at the same time as you and Rachel. And because you gave birth early, our baby girls share a birthday! Happy healing, sending you love
Congratulations ❤❤❤
How exciting for you! Congratulations!!💖💖
Omg no way about the shared birthday!! Congratulations 🎉👏🐣💕
I had my baby the same day too!!
@@katieboss3 that is so cool!! Congrats
I’m a postpartum nurse and repeat sections are usually much better! I’m so glad they listened to your concerns about pain control. So happy for you and your family! She is beautiful!
Most likely just because she's in influencer and could say something negative about the hospital or staff. Normal people would immediately be labeled a drug seeker these day just for bringing pain management up with the doctor.
As someone who also had a traumatic first birth, I'm so glad for you that you had such a happy and healing experience this time around. Congratulations on your beautiful girl.
Welcome to the world Alice! ❤ Congratulations Sierra, Stephen, and Grace 🎉❤
I also was a mom who had a 60hr labour that ended in an emergency c section with my first baby. There was also some medical malpractice and It was super traumatic and left huge emotional scars. I had my twins 18 months later via a planned c section. The recovery was so different, night and day. It was still hard because it was an abdominal surgery and of course having twins, BUT it was almost healing to have more control, more pain management, more support and less trauma with both knowing what was happening but also advocating for myself and my babies better.
All to say, what your feeling regarding a second c section, is super normal. Enjoy your family!
From someone who had such a traumatic emergency first c section, this makes me feel ready to try for baby #2. I’ve been so scared to go through all of the trauma again but seeing how healed you are and how at peace you are with this experience brings me so much peace and relief. Thank you so much for sharing ❤
I felt the same way after my emergency c section! My friend just had a baby and as I was holding her I felt like I wanted another one (my brain had been saying NO NO NO 😅). I think it helps to see new babies 😊
Same and I agree. I almost cried to have the hope that it can be positive ❤
I had my second via planned cesarean 3 years after my first with an unplanned/emergency one and the difference is crazy! So chill and calm! ❤
My sister had a planned C-section after two emergency C-sections for her third. She also had this same relaxing experience and healing was much easier!
It’s so comforting to see how having some experience and being able to advocate for your needs can really transform how your c section goes. Especially after following Sierra and knowing how hard her first birth was and how it deterred her from getting pregnant, it’s also healing for me to see she got much better treatment this time!
So so happy for you! I love Stephen being such a great dad...reminds me of my husband and I loved all of his words of affirmations and positivity he just poured into you. ❤
Stephen speaks to you and about you with such love and care! Thank you for sharing this with us, happy everyone is doing well.
our daughters were born the same day! so surreal that we were giving birth around the same time! she is so precious! so happy for your family🤍
Congratulations on your bundle of joy❤❤
Congratulations!!😊
That’s so cool!! Congratulations! 💖💖
Congratulations! 🎉💐🐣👏
Soooo glad to hear this delivery and postpartum experience has been a 180 for you. Welcome Alice!!!
Shoutout to Kenzzie, seriously, you get it. Your help is so valuable ❤ it's so sweet to see yalls friendship in every aspect of life
Kenzie is such a good friend 🫶🏻 I love that she came to spend the night with you two!! So excited for your little family! Congrats
It's so crazy how different every hospital is. With my c section with my son (he was a nicu baby) I was determined to be with him and left 24 hours after my surgery. So many people were shocked and I didn't know why cause I thought that was normal but a lot of them said they stayed at the hospital for 5 days after their c section. It's amazing what our bodies can do. You're doing so great. Congratulations ❤
Aww Kenzie being the most supportive friend 🥹
I needed to see this. I’m TERRIFIED of having a traumatic birth and postpartum experience. This was just as comforting to me as it was healing for you, Sierra. Thank you for sharing 😭❤️
I love all of the support Sierra and Steven have as well as best friends. Kenzie is the best. Everyone needs a friend like Kenzie ❤
Congratulations Sierra and Stephen and Grace!!! ❤ Alice is going to be in such an amazing and loving home with yall ❤️ I can't wait to see how life from 1 to 2 turns out 🤱
Congratulations! So happy for you all and so glad you were surrounded by so much love!
Gosh, I am so happy for you. For the healing experience of the c-section, for you two to be parents to two sweet daughters, for your support system of your family and friends. This vlog just made my day
This video is so encouraging! I had an unplanned (nonemergency) c section for my first baby. I just was not progressing after my water broke. I believe I will be having another c section with the baby I am currently pregnant with but my first felt so painful and emotional. Seeing that the second time around can healing and beautiful is so refreshing!
Alice really wanted to be here for Easter 🥰 So happy for you all!
I’ve been waiting for this vlog! Welcome, baby Alice!!
You're birth story with baby Alice gives me so much hope. I had my first daughter March of 2021. We went in for an induction and wasn't successful so we had to have a cesarean. The whole experience was super traumatic (I ended up with a uterine infection in the hospital then had 2 more surgeries 2 weeks after). Fast forward to now, I am now 11 weeks pregnant and have been so scared since 4 weeks when we found out. You're experience brings me so much comfort knowing that the second time could be healing for me as well. Thank you for sharing your journey. It really means a lot to me. Welcome to this world baby Alice! ❤️
I stayed the night with my bestie in the hospital last month for her second. The clips with Kenzie made me so sentimental of that time I got with my bestie❤❤❤❤❤
I love your positive attitude! I would be glad if I was half this positive and happy when I’m postpartum. It’ll be right around the corner for me, I’m 36 weeks. Fingers crossed! I can’t wait for our 2 year old to meet our little boy.
Such a sweet video Sierra! So glad this experience was more healing for you. Sending you and your family all the love!
It’s honestly healing for me to see you have such a successful scheduled c-section after a previous traumatic one with Grace. I had my daughter in Nov. and had a traumatic induction ending in an emergency c-section with a rough recovery. This makes me feel hopeful for my next baby, whenever that is. So thank you! And congratulations on another beautiful baby🤍
you look fabulous...your skin is absolutely glowing....congrats to mama and daddy and to grace as well ( the most gentle big sister ever)....another beautiful addition to the family
Thank you for sharing this! You’re easing my nerves as I approach my ‘redemption’ c-section after an unplanned c-section with my first. Due in less than 6 weeks! Enjoy that beautiful little girl ❤
Hooray! I remember being emotional when you announced your pregnancy on insta 🥺 congratulations to both of you! What a wonderful birth experience ❤
So happy for you Alice, you were born into such an amazing family with such great role models. Congratulations to you and your whole family Sierra! I have been watching you so many years and watching you grow your family brings me so much joy. So much love ❤❤❤
congrats on baby girl number 2!!! so happy that this experience was so much better for you 🫶
Congratulations!!!
This gives me confidence and hope as I'm currently expecting our second also. First c-section was traumatizing but had an amazing doctor! You're giving me the confidence that the 2nd time around could possible be a much better experience!
Welcome to the world, Alice!! Sending your family so much love!!
Congratulations, beautiful! So happy for you and Stephen and your sweet girls! 🤍
Sooooo happy for you!! You make me so excited to be a mother! I’m really glad you’ve had a healing experience ❤
The only explanation for your glow must be the strength of your love for your daughters because girl you look incredible for just having a baby! 😍🥹💓 so happy it was a healing experience for you! You deserved that so much!
I’m sitting here trying to decide to watch this or not. I am so excited for you and your journey but I still have PTSD from my birth experience and it’s been 9 months. I’m so sad I can’t find joy in birth videos, but I am so happy for you and this birth being better. Congrats ❤I look forward to other videos that will be easier for me
ummmm all I can think about right now is how GORGEOUS Sierra looks??? Like that clear skin? That hair? Congratulations guys, I have been watching your videos for what seems like my whole life and I just am so filled with joy!
I went for a vbac with my daughter and I regret it so much. Seeing your peaceful repeat c section made me so happy for you and confirms even more that if I could do it again I would opt for the repeat c section a million times over.
You are a rockstar and a badass! I’m so happy for you and your experience this time around! congratulations on your new daughter! You have such an amazing and loving husband and support system around you 💛
So beautiful seeing the support from Stephen and Kenzie during this time! I definitely choked up several times! I'm so glad it was a healing experience for you! I had my second child by early induction six months ago and it was also incredibly healing, everything came easier with recovery and breastfeeding and much more confident and it is so beautiful watching the siblings together ❤️ so happy for you and wishing you well during this season! ❤
the sweetest family ever 🥹 so happy for your family!!
I’m so happy that your birth was so much better this time around!! Alice is so beautiful, congratulations! 🫶🏻
Thanks for sharing your journey with us. I love how involved Grace is in your pregnancy and in Alice’s birth. I think it makes it so much easier for siblings to get along and bond early on the more involved they are in the beginning.
congratulations guys! I can tell on both of your faces how much calmer and more healing this experience has been. ❤️
Loved this video!! I just had an emergency C-section 2 weeks ago and welcomed my first baby! This video really inspires me that another pregnancy is possible and that I could have a positive experience in the future ❤
So happy for y’all! Grace is already the best big sister!
Welcome to the world, Alice! Congratulations!
I'm just so happy for you and your family! I remember watching the videos before Grace and how you were dealing with so much. I wish you a quick recovery and hope you had a happy Easter!❤
I ended up having complications and had an emergency cesarean on April 1st at 37 weeks. By the looks at the comments, it seems to have been a popular week for having babies 💕
Watching your family grow warms my heart
The baby burrito 😂❤❤ absolutely loved this vlog! Congratulations guys!!❤❤

Much love from Australia ❤❤❤
Aww loved it! Congratulations!! Welcoming to the world Alice 💕
Congratulations!! I love her name! I'm a little biased as I also have a daughter named Alice. She was actually born a few months after Gracie. Congratulations again!
Same
So so so happy for you and your family. I have a 7 month old and had a similar experience to your first birth and this video was like a sigh of relief to me. I know every person and birth is different but it was nice that there's some hope for the future and this video just made me so happy.
Congratulations 🍾🎉🎈🎊!! She’s beautiful

so happy for you guys! God bless your family 🙏🏾❤️
You guys are just the best! Congratulations ❤
I know what Stephen was feeling about the baby being born early. Both of my sons were born 2 weeks early and it’s still scary, even if it’s technically safe. Grace was so good with Alice! 🩷 Congratulations! 💖
Congratulations! Alice is such a beautiful name!
You guys are so amazing!! So happy for all of you 💕💕
Congratulations again, Sierra and Stephen!!!
Congratulations 🎉🌸 beautiful family 🌸

Wow when the video started, I was in awe of you Sierra!, you look so beautiful and serene and just beautiful is the word that keeps coming to mind. Inside and out.
Congratulations to the whole family and best wishes for your recovery x
Congratulations! She’s beautiful ❤❤❤
What a beautiful family. Enjoy your new baby!
Congratulations!! Alice is so beautiful. It's great you had such a different and wonderful experience.
Absolutely amazing to see this!!! Looks like such a healing experience which is amazing! I had my first baby 37 weeks with a C-section as well and golly csection are not for the faint of heart!
How beautiful!!! Congratulations!!
Happy for you guys! Bless little Alice and Gracie ❤️❤️
I was also pregnant with you and had my boy two weeks ago 😇
He was my first and I was scheduled for an induction but went into labour on my own while waiting to be admitted. I felt like the doctors were trying to push me into a c-section because my baby was “big” even though my labour was going well, and in the end I ended up having a relatively easy vaginal birth. As you said previously, I feel like everyone has an opinion and the most helpful thing is to just try to block out all the noise 😅 congratulations ❤
As someone who is currently 4 months PP with my second and also had a redemptive second birth, it makes me so happy to see you having a redemptive birth. Congrats!! It’s the best feeling 🤍
So beautiful, congratulations ❤
Welcome to the world!
Congrats Mom and Dad!
