It is more about inspecting the doors and areas around same for any damages before opening. This is one of the main responsibilities of the lead person when doing his "walk around" after the arrival of the aircraft and before departure. Also. The lead is normally the person with the most experience and can better identify any form of inconsistencies/damages to the fuselage.
How many hours do u guys work a day for a full shift. I just got hired and ill be doing this job very soon
