Richard scored his 24th head-to-head match today. Here's the updated accuracy leader board for the 7 celebs to have scored 3 or more matches so far: Orson - 100% (3 wins in 3 attempts). Betty - 50% (8 wins in 16 attempts). Jo Ann - 46.7% (7 out of 15 attempts). Charles - 40% (6 wins in 15 attempts). Bert - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts). Richard - 29.3% (24 wins in 82 attempts). Brett - 25% (5 wins in 20 attempts). *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 210, excluding the lost/missing episodes 31, 32, 33.
Trish Stewart is one of those classic 70s beauties... lovely, very very lovely... and upon Googling her, she worked with a certain D.Hasselhoff pre-Knight Rider days on Y&R...
I remember this episode, too, with Gene's microphone turning out to be longer than he expected, and Kaye Stevens describing Ontario Place as "the Disney World of Canada". Even as a kid, I laughed at that, because it was no such thing (and nowadays it is more or less derelict, and they are trying to decide what to do with it). We should credit Ontario Place, though, as being home to IMAX. The first IMAX theatre was built there - the Cinesphere - and it still stands, although I don't think it's currently in use.
Pretty good week this week with Richard winning for the regulars giving away 6,250 dollars in head to head and audience match matches. Trish gave away 5,500 dollars in head to head and audience matches. Jack gave away 600 dollars in audience match matches with 10 matches for the semi regulars. Charles had 13 matches for the regulars..
I was so sorry to see Shirley go. She was a good ol' Arkansas girl. She died on July 9th, 2010, at the age of 79, and she's buried in her hometown of Fordyce Arkansas.
I just made a comment saying that she had been on 3 times (21 episodes) and this was the only episode she was tolerable on The other day when she was hummin and Gene said to he "That's Enough Kaye," I'm glad he did that but I could tell by her face that she as hurt, so I'm sure that had a lot to do with it.
ROFL! Another fine after dinner episode! ;0) ROFL! Love ya Gene! ;0) ROFL! Love ya Charles! ;0) The sound sound different from the short mic to the long mic, at least to me.. ;0) But I just love it! ;0) Washington! ;0) Thank you Charles.. ;0) Santa? Well I guess he could handle it Trish... ;0) Charles beat Richard! ;0) Lassie! Frankenstein.. ;0) Rim Tin Tin, now I believe I have seen that cartoon now Gene.. ;0) There is nothing wrong with silent movies.. ;0) hospital? ;0) tamale?? ;0) I thought it was cute.. ;0) bladder!
The first appearance of Gene's phallic microphone. (And in case you missed it beginning at 19:21, Trish gives her answer as "bladder", and the brilliant Jack Carter responds, "That takes care of refreshments, too!" ROFL)
Bad news, meteor speeding toward Earth; good news it's heading straight for..."I said THE MOON!" I'd taken the safer option :) Then, I decided to play along and pause to type my answers before hearing theirs. 2. Scarecrow so scary she DIED! 3. Meanest bull in Spain...he has KNIVES on his horns! 4. Casey KASEM? Not sure if he was around yet. Welp, apparently not :) 5. Simple TIMES. 6. ...movie star, but it was rotten to say it was KING KONG! 7. A meatloaf in the shape of a STETHOSCOPE! I obviously woulda bombed, crashed, and burned my way to the "special gifts" backstage. Brett gave me 1 though :)
In the 2022 World; one feels that a good case of 'Profiling' towards the Police Officer and the Female contestant; good be made against the Panelist. Their answers were skewed to FAIL.
CB Farnsworth is still alive, he lives in Southern California, he’s now retired from law enforcement and works as a driving school instructor.
Cool to know. Seems like a nice fella.

I know he wasn't on this episode...RIP Orson Bean....

She's one of my all-time favorite MG champions!
20:38 "will Brett somers's nurse please report to the backstage"
lol, perfect ending
Trish is low key great. I hope she's on more times. Lovely woman.
I've watched a couple hundred Match game shows. I cant remember any guest enjoying themselves as loudly as Kaye. I love it. She makes me laugh.
It's too bad the "Best of 'Match Game'" DVD set didn't include the slates. The "Best of 'TPIR'" set has the slates.
travis7310 on you tube
I think Richard is getting sick of Kaye.
Aren't we all.
Who isn’t?
Why was she invited back????
We are ALL getting sick of Kay.
Who played with gene’s microphone it’s long
Believe it or not, she has toned it down last few episodes. Still out there, but they must have talked to her because I do notice a difference.
either change of 'Meds' or 'Therapists'....LoL.....
I just made a comment saying that she had been on 3 times (21 episodes) and this was the only episode she was tolerable on

David Fritz that long mic didn’t become permanent until late 74!
@@StLawrencePlaceRight, but that was its first appearance.
I’m so glad that the hypo CB won!
I hear Gene broke many a microphone using it as a sword!
C.B. Farnsworth
Surprised Washington and White House weren’t matched
Richard was specifically “White House “. Washington could imply the whole district or even the state.
'Fainted' -- what else is there????
Shirley is so 😎, hate to see her go. Too bad the fist bump wasn't a thing back then, CB coulda bruised Richard's knuckles too

Good answers, but the Moon isn't on Earth. It's 250,000 miles away.
You'd have received a Lava Lamp! 😂
I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who thought Casey Kasem.
Wolf Point, Montana, is a city in Roosevelt County near the North Dakota border....
It was rotten to say it was Edward G. Robinson.
It looks like Karen's shirt is made of mint ice cream.
"Meteor" question should have been thrown out, because of Charles' "NBC" comment.
Pay the doctor for a Baby? Thats USA!
Kaye has been on here 3 times (21 episodes), and this is the only episode that she was tolerable on!
0:13 Chair-ills Nelson Reilly??? WTH???
Kaye reminds me of a Human version of Pinkie Pie...
Was Casey Kasem around then?
Yes he was
Yes, he was very much around then.
'Gore' is my answer. Oops, contestant didn't use it.
God, now the damned woman is pounding on the set! Please, oh please! Let this be the last week Kaye Stevens is on the show!!!
NO, I believe 4 more..
@@generay4054, oh lord. Well, ...
Kaye Stevens has toned down A LOT this episode.
She's been on 21 episodes, and this is the only one she was actually tolerable on
Who the hell is Casey Jones?
Seriously?! he was an engineer

Old joke, not funny (rolls eye at repeat joke..)
