Do anybody else also find the winter videos to be the most relaxing of them all?
I find these videos so relaxing and positive! They keep my hope for moving out there and building a tiny home alive.
Very much!
yes
👍
I actually prefer him talking
Chad should be directing movies for netflix his camera skills are really good. You gotta love Coast to Coast playing too!!!
He is a film director. Check out MN8Films. He's no slouch in the camera department.
30 seconds in I was like "this guy knows how to make a frikin movie" the ambiance and the shots really draw you in... great stuff
Na, coast to coast has gone to sh1t recently.. the supposed anti establishment 'truther' community & its radio outlets fell right in line in with the great reset/NWO agenda in 2020.. they submitted to the pro mask, vax & towing the official Covid line just as quick as the normies did.. this Community should have been at the forefront of critical thinking and questioning this whole thing, yet they completely let me down… were they just play games all along in regards to questioning things? Amateurs.. art bell was the man! This lot these days are useless
Are these comments real? Hilarious. Brussel sprouts should have ends cut off. And the one time the overuse of bacon and garlic would've been perfect was with the broccoli rabe and brussel sprouts. . Coconut oil and montreal seasoning are a gross combo.
@@malcolmmcdonald3149 Art Bell was the best at late night radio IMO
I love how you changed things up in this one and let the video tell the story without any narration. Simply beautiful to watch. :)
I agree!
i actually didn't realise he wasn't going to talk till it finished haha was just mesmerized by it.
@@chungchan2678 I felt like I was holding my breath thinking.... "ok now he's gonna say something...."..... "or maybe now...." lol :)
I agree Jason. Simply brilliant !
Felt like we were there, beautiful
I can't even begin to fathom how long it took you to set up every one of these shots. You are an epic filmmaker!
I was thinking of that as he was working....listening to the weather radio then quickly packs it in and leaves. Well thought out and executed.
I know it’s really incredible! It’s freaking dark as a cave. It’s snowing. he’s all alone. I think Chad is one of the most creative UA-camrs out there
I'm watching a grown man go for a drive and cook dinner...yet I can't think of anything on regular tv more interesting...😂
Do people still watch tv

Why?
@@proto718 Becuae His Channel Is Great The Video’s Are So Well Made And He’s A Really Cool Guy
First 5 minutes was like i am watching movie on Netflix
I thought the same thing haha. This is so good!
I was thinking “Chad is gonna see Big Foot”!!!!!!
LTVL videos are like movies/docu actually. Like watching Netflix, Nat Geo, Discovery
Bruh its because chad is award winning videographer. He's on IMDB.
Chad DeRosa is an award-winning cinematographer and director working in the genre of action sports and documentary films. As a co-founder of MN8 Films, he has honed his cinematic eye while directing and filming content in unique and remote locations around the world. DeRosa's first feature documentary film, Out of Nothing, won awards such as: Best Cinematography, Best Director of a Documentary, Best Feature Documentary and multiple Audience Choice Awards in various international film festivals. His work as a director behind the camera is ever-growing in defining ways to capture the human element in extreme real-life scenarios with a cinematic touch.
Its actually better intro than most Netflix shows
Imagine how many times he had to go back and get his camera 😬
and act like he didn't xD

Yup bro..that's what I think...it's so hard working person...awesome cinematography...
@@glogrann8562 in a couple of clips you see the shadow of a tripod and then the sound of the VW rushing by.
dude freakin love the radio audio on the intro.
George Norry is no Art Bell but I loved this also
Look up David Palides and missing 411 and go down the rabbit hole brotha
What's the name of the radio station ?
You are a master for creating ambience -- the radio voices were genuis. Thanks from a long-term fan.
The first 8-10 minutes were completely mesmerising and they seemed like watching a movie. So much effort in shooting these videos, keep it up man! Completely chilled out watching this. Greetings from India, Chad.
I am a big fan of your video shooting skills. Leaving the camera behind on the roadside and driving and coming back for it again in such a snowy night. Its just incredible amount of effort! Love from the Himalays 🇳🇵
Something cozy about this way of life that brings me peace - even if I’m not living it - just seeing someone do so brings me joy
Ill never be a van lifer or do anything that you do, but I love watching everything you post due to the video quality and time you put into production with all these shots. It's fascinating to see how you live your life out of a van and the places you go to. Keep doing what you do and living your best life!
This video helped me calm down before bed. Heavy thoughts on my mind. Thank you Chad🙏 I needed some peace and this video helped me with that. The attention to detail is mesmerizing. Much love from NYC❤
I hope everyone finds peace of mind✌
I don't know why I love this type of camping man. But have a desire to exactly do the same damn thing.
Very simple but also enjoying letting the environment call the shots. Camping, snow, good food and drink without all the noise and light pollution that happen in a city environment.
Amazing vid. Not one word said in the whole thing - just letting natures sounds do it all - luv it !
Seems I was watching the movie “Cast Away” with Tom Hanks. Not a word spoken? I was wondering when Wilson would show up?🤣🤣🤣
The gold standard of van life - everything he does is done to perfection - impressive stuff.
The drone scenes over trees and snow was absolutely amazing
I hope this year things turn better for all.
All the best for 2021.
Stay safe, mates.
The angels dedication is unreal
The best beginning to one of your videos yet. So good.
Yes..👍
Such a talented cinematographer, fascinating to watch...
It's like the Bat symbol came out and Chad goes to work. "Bad weather; yes please!".
lol
This time he kept himself very calm ..He didn't even speak a single word👍
The drone shot over the trees is just awesome,I so wish I was there, complete peace!
"Coast to coast" is really giving more of the vibe and atmosphere there. You're becoming real pro. Excellent !
Damn props to Chad on this one, it's hard enough to know what will click with your audience, and doing something as experimental as this is a big risk, but it definitely paid off, this is beautiful
This is my favourite episode.love your show Chad, thank you ♥️🙏
This was an absolutely EPIC performance and videography! Thank you so much for all your hard work in the making of this for us in UA-cam land. I don't believe words can express how wonderful your work is and how it captivates me.
chad you are the best on living in the van life style . you taught me a lot of survival techniques . i've been watching you for a while. your camera skills are great . i appreciate every thing you do .
The new van seems to be coming along well
Unbelievable how much effort goes in to making these videos. Bravo!
Peace descends upon me as I watch this. Thank you.
Bro, I loved that video. Absolutely loved it. No talking. Just the sounds of Van life.
Dude the way that you film and edit, I’m surprised that you didn’t hit 1M subscribers yet!🤔, but don’t worry, it is not going to take long...keep it up!!
Been watching your chann for a couple months now and I must say in my worst days and on my best days your videos really do something for my soul. Thank you man for the work you put into them to share it with people.
The last thing I'd want to listen to before going off into the wilderness is a David Paulides interview...
i dont go in the woods alone
Oddly I love listening to Coast to Coast while boon docking. It adds to the fun 😀
@@GiantMeteor2024 No, what adds to the fun is hearing noises outside a tent at 2:30, shining a light and seeing a bear 20ft away. No vehicle for miles..... That adds to the fun of wondering....where'd that bear go. It keeps ya up the rest of the night with no plan to hide.
@@josh3326 Add in the screech of a Barred owl 😀
My thought exactly!
"Snow may be heavy at times..." *HOLD MY BEER*
Something about you videos and content make me feel like I can take on the world. I appreciate the videos and your content. Most of all I appreciate you. Lets kick 2021's ass.
So much effort in making the video! KUDOS! Wish you the very best and a great year ahead. God bless.
Setting up those night shots in the rain is unbelievable. Most people have no idea what it takes for Chad to put these videos together. He is Awesome !
Last scene was amazing ❤️
That’s what I call a real movie-telling a story through movement. Talkies ruin all. Nice job Chad.
Love that winter night driving with the spooky stories on the radio. Coast to coast.
I love hearing your narration normally Chad, but this format was also thoroughly engaging. With headphones on I was so much more along for the ride on this one. Brilliant work mate!
😒😒😒
Love your winter videos. It's so nice to see a youtube video without blaring music and pointless narration.
I shall sleep to this tonight my friend, and i will dream about livin in a van one day

I think it's one of the best content available on UA-cam right now. Keep it up sir👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
*It’s always nice to see how you direct the videos. Knowing that you give so much thought to what you want to show is awesome. This is as usual an awesome video. I also listen to “Coast to Coast”* 👍🏽👍🏽 *I was seriously trying to see the title of the book though.*

David Goggins You Can Hurt Me
Excellent book!
The production value is off the charts! Love the David Goggins book plug.
I love when the snow was going toward the windshield. It looks so cool 😍
Try driving in it for long and you an experience a kind of blindness. Scary and dangerous.

YES, WINTER VAN LIFE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES.
Hey Chad: you're like Captain Kirk working out at the Star base who can't resist one last flight in the Enterprise after hearing that winter weather advisory.
The production value of these videos is astounding. It looks so…professional.
That dude on the radio just throwing percentages around.
Yeah all the dudes on that show are fake. They always talk UFOs. I been in the military 6 years in all kinds of terrain. Never seen a single UFO.
its david paulides, he is an ex detective. He investigates missing people in national forests. check out missing 411
@@kennethvance8896 Somehow you being in the military for 6 years and never seeing a UFO discredits all of George’s guests. Interesting.
@@kennethvance8896 huh. I’ve had military Navy guys tell me they’ve seen them ... out there at sea. Might be why the went to live in the desert now.
The evolution of the modern story teller is both fascinating and enjoyable and allows us to gain insight into the imaginative and skillfull use of modern technology intertwined with living a simple life. The radio interview, loads of low angle atmo night shots and ritualistic hoodie donning are signifiers of a mature and accomplished story teller, so hats off to you Chad.Oh and the tantalizingly meditative sequence - the meal from the Dutch Oven served to the plate with the wooden spatula was a supreme lesson in delaying gratification !
Once spent a whole 9 days on a silent retreat and virtually the first sentence i produced was some form of disagreement as i recall.Your videography skills speak volumes my friend.
Chilling in the midnight watching this. Greetings from Indonesia, Chad.
I wish, I could go to snow wonderland, greetings from Bandung
Your vids got me and my kids through some horribly dark days last year with all that's going on in the world,,,, I'm glad others are appreciating your camera work as much as me truly awesome ,happy new year to you sir
Remember amigo, your father is always with you. You came from his body and you will always be a part of him. Thank you for all the inspiration, you do a good job and set yourself apart from the others on UA-cam. May god bless you and may you have success for the rest if your days. Take care.
So enjoy the winter ones best!! Like I'm on vacation. The content of your videos are entertaining, educational and sometimes thought provoking in a positive way. Really getting into your throwing down with the recipes!💜💜💜
Coast to Coast AM has some really interesting discussions!
Keeps getting better at his video production. Very good sir!
I also love how he never acknowledges that there is even a camera there.
His filmography is just next level, incredible work!

I love how you list all of your gear, BUT, the one thing that caught my eye isn't listed. Your chair!

I looked to see if his Living the Van Life sweatshirt was listed...no luck
Love the fact he's listening to some creepy podcast about hunters going missing while he's driving into the woods and also love that fact that not a single word was spoken the entire video!
Also looks like the new van build is coming along! Can't wait to watch it's first adventure!
Does anyone know what podcast that was?
Bruh, that hand clap at the end... The Clapper 😁
How can someone give thumb down to those brilliant videos and the efforts that this guy spends to make us feel like watching a real movie.
Hey Man don't go to shitty places and get hurt... We all want you to be safe Because you are an amazing artist and a wonderful person.
You have a gift my friend. Some of your photography is breath takingly beautiful. I've seen it in other of your videos too. I believe some of it is your personnel connection with nature. Your able to see or recognize things in a captivating manner. Very impressive.
Why is it so enjoyable watching Chad live the van life? Serious question.
Can live vicariously through him without the hassle of actually living the van life haha
Ending was brilliant. That clap. I am super impressed by your work. Keep creating this. I wish long life to you, so that we can watch more of you.
Thought a lost hunter was going to walk to the middle of the road while you were driving 😬 the suspense was real!
I watch this episode so many times.
That ending was so smooth
