Just a quick job for a friend, not 100% sure how well engineered the strengthening plates are but apparently the race cars of the day did this so it must work?? Thanks for leaving a comment and I appreciate the feedback! 👍

As said, not my finest welding, MIG would have been far neater because the fit up wasn’t great and it was very sluggish especially around the previously welded areas. There shouldn’t be any issues with strength here whereas with MIG if the settings are wrong the weld can just sit on top…
