I m not no professional, but at 1:10 mark wield isnt it running a little hot? The wield looks good but at the top and bottom of the bead it looks like it bushed the steal away making it weak at both points just a question?
Как-то по окончанию техникума бал направлен на монтаж ТЭЦ. Зачислен в бригаду монтажников трубопроводов испарительной установки. По чертежам собирали Ду 200. После подходили сварщики и обваривали наши стыки. Вот это сварщики. Они были обвешаны электродами как матросы лентами к пулемёту Максим.
I wouldn’t be pleased with the under cut! Under stress test the break or tear with start at the under cut like tearing a check from a check book! Retired AWS Certified welder since 1976! Thank you for the video
@@ashwindsouza5273 The weld is pleasing to the eye! The electrode angle is to flat having a blowing effect.The “flame” is oscillating wildly. For me I would change the angle of the electrode two ways: raise the horizontal angle to close to a 90 degree angle. Adjust the vertical angle to a 45 deg angle. Keep the “flame” to the metal near as possible the same diameter of the electrode away from the metal thus controlling the oscillation to a more circle rotation. Long arc (flame) causes undercut on the top side of the weld. Undercut is the weak point when put under stress. In the same token I have to give credit to what is nicknamed “Gorilla Snot Welds” they will hold up a ship in a “Hurricane”. I have always urged my welding craftsmanship to improve every time I strike an arc! After a while I learned looks,sound and feel while laying a bead!
@ The arc needs to be shorten to the same diameter of the electrode. As the arc oscillates it cuts into the metal the molten weld fills the cut in. If the electrode has a short arc on the backside of the electrode and a long arc on the front of the electrode the long arc causing a gouging effect.

It depends on what type of electrode. 6010/6011 should be whipped above the work piece no comtact 7018/7014/6013 just run it as smooth and steady as possible
@@wheresthej03 certain steel alloys can't be welded. If you do "weld" it, it's temporary, as two dissimilar metals or tempers of metals will not bond depending on what type is to be fastened to another metal. Under the weld bead is where it will separate and fail.
@@wheresthej03 I work full time in the trailer service industry and it really has the look of an old broken leaf from a spring. Slight curve, rounded edges, and about 1.75"wide. It can work for now but won't for long.
@@eduffy4937 i got to ask. If you have 1/8 steel, do you want to use 3/32 rod or 1/8? I have an old miller thunderbolt with the crank adjust on the top.
If using flux core welding and use other gass . It's omitted . Only flux core with no additional gass for extra protection on the weld . Slag should fall off with no chipping hammer. Or little chipping hammer. Ok no hammering needed slag should fall off . I'm back to music. Cool vid .

Если сварщик, на простейшем положении сварки (в данном случае "нижнем"!), с такими толщинами металла, "подрезает " шов, не говоря про катит, который для них положен, - ему надо ещё учиться и, к этому стремится! Ни в коем случае не хотел обидеть! Но это сварка первокурсника СПТУ.
With thin metal, I use my MIG welder. If it's very thin, they learned me to slow the wire-speed, so far that the molten metal "drip" onto the workpiece. But you can start with low power, and short bursts of welding. Wait until it solidify and do the next burst. In this way you don't create extra holes.
Te recomiendo qwe hagas un curso de especialización o de homologacion de soldadura el electrodo debe de ir a 45 grados con respecto a la pieza no acostado
Can we just appreciate he got a slag peel from a 6013 like it was a 7018? 6013 in my experience are a nasty rod to run. Use a 6011 on rusty metal like this is better, but they're hard to find in some countries.

rule #1 Never weld rust on rust.. always clean the surfaces to bare metals... otherwise it will be a weak weld and fail.
The key to supreme welding: wag your finger at the metal, the rods, the welder, the grinder, the filler, and the paint.

Para una soldadura de calidad la limpieza del metal y un pre calentamiento son fundamentales
Pre - heating is not necessary for material up to 15mm😉
Si la limpieza es fundamental pero eso no es lo único para una soldadura de calidad, la verdad estas soldaduras le quedan feas al amigo, realmente no es soldador, mas lo considero un balconero, pero para soldador le falta mejorar sus cordones, estan feos.

If you want good welds, don't weld rusty poorly prepared metal.
7010 will take cere of it.

Надо еще потренироваться, а после показывать качественные сварочные швы(розжиг электрода, заварка кратера катет и внешний вид шва)...
Поддерживаю сварка не ахти.

If doing coupons or coupins on testing make sure metal is clean in school or not .

The first one you did not clean it completely, your angle was bad it should be directly on the wall with a slight tilt for max penetration.
