Congrats! It’s actually a lesser known “secret” feature of the 7 series, it can detect the age of anyone over 100 which automatically unlocks the “life force” mode quite literally providing up to 50% energy boost when you start feeling especially tired. The watch’s “Cupid mode” will make you feel sexy but the phone battery will take a pretty big hit. Enjoy & well done for reaching such an impressive age. Hope you make it to the big 200 to qualify for a state funded body mind transplant 😄 Next thing you know you’ll be good for another 3-500 years 🎉😄👋🏻🎈
I absolutely love my Apple Watch 7. I am 50 years old and I have never wanted to wear a watch but, this watch is amazing. I use it when I hike, it works so well while driving and navigating using Apple maps because I don't need to glance down at my phone to see where I am at in relation to my destination. I can glance on my wrist while driving, much safer. I went into settings on my iPhone (apple watch app) and set dock to favorites so I can quickly get to the apps I use all of the time. Nice video, new sub
@@DionMedia The only reason I brought up my age was to indicate how long I have been around and have yet to wear a watch until now. But as I mentioned great video and still liking the watch.
5:26 - The red flashlight mode is useful at night because it allows you to see while not resetting your night vision. Like when you get up at 3 am and you don't want to walk into the end of the bed or step on your shoes or something. It also helps a lot during stargazing.
5:28 the red color is not for an sos signal, it’s a softer flashlight that is less distracting to others. This is because red is the least distinguishable color for the human eye, while green has the most detectable shades for the human eye. This is so incorrect, I don’t know where to start.. light from stars is red shifted because the stars are moving away. Since the source is moving away the time between the waves is longer, which makes it appear that the frequency is lower when it reaches your eye.
I was thinking of getting the Apple Watch Series 7 but i was wondering how easy is it to get a scratch (talking about the aluminum version)? Im one of those people who like to protect my things and get screen protectors but is it needed on this? Thanks for this helpful video and have a great day everybody!
Hi, I am from the same school:). The body holds up quite well, but the screen is prone to scratches, so I suggest to at least take a screen protector. Unfortunately the number of options are quite limited. For your info I did a separate video on this
I’m the same way! I have all my old phone with no scratches or dings because I used quality cases right after buying the phone. They look brand new. But now I want to protect my watch also.
Got the watch series 7 as a bday prsent it is nice and all but I really couldn't find many specs on it that I really care. All these videos about the possible uses of Apple watch are far from changing my life. The only thngs I found useful are it tracking my sleep and waking me up with haptic without any noise but obvşously I need to wear it while sleeping which is kinda too much I think, being able to control the camera would be cool I thought but it literally lags and the screen is so small that you can't even tell if you are taking a good photo, I can't read a book with it at least not using the apple books app. Still figuring out for sure if you have any apps to recommend I'd be willing to try'em out.
Hi Dion!! I’m having some trouble deciding between the series seven and SE, I don’t think price is much of an issue. For the series seven I love how big the screen is and how small the bezel (I think that’s spelt right?) is. But then again, I think it has 4.0 Bluetooth and won’t be getting 4.3 like the SE has? But for the SE it has all the basics needed but I really don’t like how big the bezel (there is that evil word again) is!! Please send help soon!! I need what you think is the right! Ps. For xtra info, I’m a student who isn’t allowed an iPhone at school even tho I have one (school rules are crazy am I right??), I want to get fitter and I would love a water proof and scratch or crack proof Watch that I can use for school instead of a phone (hehe sneaky I know) please help me Dion!!
Hi Valerie, I see where you are coming from :). Ultimately I would go for the 7. One reason it has better and more health features (but do not go swimming with it btw).
I am 73 years old and often read "Dick Tracy" comic books when I was a kid. Fast forward 65 years and I HAVE BECOME DICK TRACY (only with less hair...but I can speak into my watch!)
WOW great work Dion. Great presentation and meaningful evaluation like the impact of haptic notifications “like a tap on the hand.” Clearly the Apple guys designed this to wear upside down! Wow brilliant ha - it’s a much shorter reach! I’ve only had my first iWatch 7 41mm black for 2 days but it is amazing - and the brilliant Watch app to quickly revise settings and Watch faces and “complications” more brilliance. I started with a used Apple IIe around 1989 and we even almost lost Apple around 1993? Just like in Talladega Nights “got it at Target - on sale!” So awesome to match with my new iPhone 13 and AirPods Pro. Yeah I approve of all these lol. New Sub!
My apple watch series 7 will start given me notifications and calls as soon as i install it to my phone as it’supposed to work..but after that i won’t be receiving nothing anymore..i have installed and uninstalled it bck and forth but still get the same issue..i need help please 😔
NOPE. I have a Series 7 and your "left to right" on the watchface didn't send me to different options. It merely blackened my screen. Also, you didn't show how to navigate out of certain screens and back to the main screen.
Hi Teru, that is not as it should be. My only advice is to really start the swipe from the edge. In practice the swiping function can be a bit fickly, also with me it can take a few times before I succeed (especially when my fingers are a bit wet for example)
@@DionMedia hey dion. Thanks for answering! I tried turning it off both watch and phoned, swipe it the way your described too but it still doesn’t work. I’m gonna take it to the apple store tomorrow. TYSM!

I’m the same way! I have all my old phone with no scratches or dings because I used quality cases right after buying the phone. They look brand new. But now I want to protect my watch also.
I would still like to have this watch despite the new series 8 and apple ultra. It is still sleek with its wonderful display and functionality wise.
Finally someone who wears the watch on the right arm! Haha 🙏🏽😍
:). left handed
@@DionMedia Yeah, me too! :)

@user-wv2vd9jd5b thanks
Love this video thank you for your help ❤
Hi Ivan, my pleasure
I have the Apple Watch series 7 45MM I love it
Anyone else have an issue with Siri not downloading when you get the watch? I’ve tried letting the voice download but it just won’t finish.
It is so complicated i cant do the weather and cant download games i need help
Thanks for sharing. I profit most from the series of small features that are part of this watch, all together they make for a great experience
Gonna be getting this watch within the next 2-3 years time can’t wait
This video is ❤..
Really useful video and also very usefully concise! Thank you.

Nice clarification (y)
Hi Abu, my pleasure
Thank you!
Best introductory video I’ve seen yet!
Hi Darrin, thank you, appreciated!
Where i can get that display on ur time
I got a question does the actual charger make the Apple Watch charge faster or is it because it’s the series 7 and not like the SE?
I mean is it the charger making the Apple Watch charge faster or is it the electronics inside?
The fast charger only works on the 7 and 8.
Basically both
Ok quick question will the Apple Watch connect to my 2020 iPhone se?
Yes, it will and it should :)
Good job dude really appreciate it
Hi Davis, thanks!
Can someone tell me which watch face is he using ?
I’m getting mine today my first one I’m new to apple have an air pad 4 iPhone 12 pencil and ipods
Sounds great, sure you will not regret it. Enjoy!
Does it not do the thing where you slap it with your hand and shuts off the screen? My screen is always on and I feel like it’s killing my battery
Hi Ames, if you have an Apple Watch 5 and higher you have the option of turning off the “always on” display
New Sub!
Hi Dave, thanks for sharing your experience. You are indeed a consistent Apple user :)
My apple watch series 7 will start given me notifications and calls as soon as i install it to my phone as it’supposed to work..but after that i won’t be receiving nothing anymore..i have installed and uninstalled it bck and forth but still get the same issue..i need help please 😔
Hi Saddy, I would suggest to check the notifications settings on your Iphone App and be sure that they are turned on
Pretty cool 😎
Thanks Abbey
To get back to the watch screen you can also just simply cover your watch face and it will go back to the watch screen. You’re welcome
Can you do face recognition with the iwatch 7
I’m 44 and got my first smart watch
Hi Aisha, enjoy!
@@DionMedia well I can now after watching your video, normally I keep forwarding the video but I watched all of yours!!
@@DionMedia and I learnt how to put the straps on properly as it fell off twice!!
Brave of you, watching all of my video, but glad it paid off :)
what size watch do u have? :)
Hi Sophie, 41 mm
Brother I buy Nike series 7 can you do video for Nike series
Hi John, perhaps in the future
I just love my green 41 nm Watch never had apple before best thing I did was swap to pro max 13 apple phone 🍎and watch always been Samsung for years !
You are not alone in being happy with the pro Max 13 :). Enjoy!
Is it upside down?
Where did you get that watch face
Hi Maryann, either you phone has it or does not have it. It is not hidden somewhere
Straps mounted on wrong sides? The watch looks upside down.
Hi, in my next video I will make clear that I am left handed :)
Apple Watch ⌚️💕
NOPE. I have a Series 7 and your "left to right" on the watchface didn't send me to different options. It merely blackened my screen.
Also, you didn't show how to navigate out of certain screens and back to the main screen.
Hi Dennis, apparently an earlier suggestion did not work. Sorry. For your second question start by pressing the crown
HI, for some reason I can't swipe left nor right. Any advices?
Thank you!
TYSM!
good luck!
Very helpful. Thanks.
Hi Lonny, thanks!
hello, is this a 41 mm or 45, i just want to know since im going to purchase a series 8, they are the same size. thanks
41
@@DionMedia thanks
I thought all the controls were on the right side of the watch
HI, this is how you orient your watch. I turn the watch around so it is more accessible and in my case it means on the left side
Faster charging, YES PLZ.
Can you read blood pressure on the apple watch series 7?
Hi Charles, no
Didn’t realise you could use it the other way around.
Yes, that is also an option :)
try mobile outfitters
Iphone 16 pro 🎉
Why hasn’t Apple supply a wall usb plug
Hi Shirley, slowly but surely Apple is getting there!
