The SE is a great option for those who don’t care about all the new features but still want essentials for a more cost effective price. I’m impressed with the watch.

Bought it couple weeks ago. It’s my 1st Apple Watch ⌚️ don’t need the extra features of the more expensive versions. So far I’m enjoying it. Very good choice for most users
Great video! I'm a new SE 2022 user, coming from a Fitbit. I love the seamless way it works, the integration with the iphone, and the workout options. I use it for workout tracking, sleep tracking, and keeping track of weather and notifications. Great tool!
Omg. I’m another soon to be senior who’s second fit bit versa 3 just bit the dust. Fit bit sent me a new one after the first one died after six months. The new one died 7 months after that. So since I got the extended warranty from Best Buy, they gave me a full refund for it and I’m using that to pay for my new Apple Watch SE 2022. It’s time for quality.
I just purchased my first Apple Watch, the S7 41MM and I love it. The SE2 is a great alternative, but the ability to actually type a message out is what made me go for the S7.
Favorite use of the Apple Watch is controllling media and music especially. Not having to fumble with phone to adjust and control music is a game changer. Using Apple Watch SE 1 and preparing to purchase with 7 or 8 soon.😊
I am new to Apple products. I do not have an Apple watch yet. I recently started using an Apple Iphone and am interested in a watch that could communicate better and more efficiently with my phone. Thank you for your videos as it will help me choose which watch would be the better purchase for me.
Hello from the Philippines❤! Recently got my ever first Apple watch (SE2). I just love the apple ecosystem and how it makes my iphone 13, apple watch SE, and my airpods work seemlessly.
I just got my Apple Watch SE 2 yesterday. I was confused about how to use and utilize it. Thanks to this video, I no longer feel alienated. Instead, I feel like an expert!
I just bought my first Apple Watch (SE 2 44mm) just a week ago and so far, it's been great. Having watched many videos on which one to buy, i went through with the SE because of its price, the updated S8 processor and the crash detection feature. Though it might never come to use but its nice for the peace of mind. Not being the health nut but still conscious about my health, its nice to have the essential features without going all the way in this price range. However, i thought not having an always on display wouldn't be that big of a deal but the slight delay for the time to show up on the display when you bring up your wrist and sometimes it not activating at all kinda builds up the annoyingness. I thought the bigger borders would bother me too but i don't notice it at all. Except for the lack of AOD, the screen's been great. It's bright enough to see in any lighting conditions and the touch sensitivity is great. The build is strong despite me hitting the watch on different surfaces. I am surprised by its scratch resistance. The battery life is great and it lasted me about 32 hours before dying out without the use of low power mode. But the most use I am getting out of this watch is the alarm feature. I used to have a number of blaring alarms on my phone to wake me up but now with my SE, it subtly wakes me up by vibrating on my wrist. It's surprising how well it works. I haven't been late to my gym since I got this watch. I found your videos on the apple watches and it helped me choose my first apple watch and I thank you for helping me make this choice. My instagram is @iam.samipya
@@arrnobroy7513 Well if you go for the 7, you’re only missing out on the crash detection feature and the S8 processor which is basically the updated S7 chip. Going for the 7, you get some more features on top of the SE, like bigger screen, always on display, better smudge resistance, blood oxygen and ECG sensors and a tad better battery. (also a few more niche features and functionalities) You’ll have to choose which features are necessary for you and which one you like. If you have the budget for it go for the 7 but realize that for $50 more above the 7’s price, you can get 8 so if you can get it, I’d recommend the 8 as it will get OS updates longer than the 7, the updated hardware can open up new possible software features in the future and the build is a bit better. My suggestion is: If you wanna save some money, are in a budget or won’t make full use of the watch, go for the SE. If you can afford the 7 in your budget, go for it. Its better than the SE (for the most part). And if you can push your budget, buy the newest series 8. It’ll go a long way.

I’ve been wanting an Apple Watch for a long time. I’ve been using a Fitbit charge 4 until it just died. I should be getting the SE 2 tomorrow or the next day. I’m super excited. I like they’ve made the new SE affordable and has the same chip as the series 8 and ultra. Every 2 years, my Fitbit dies and they won’t honor their warranty I paid extra for. They said they would get back to me but didn’t. It’s giving me the opportunity and excuse to try out an Apple Watch. I think this will make me feel safer when I’m out for a walk. Thanks for all your videos.

Helpful video. I will definitely be using some of your save battery recommendations. I’ve had my Series 2 for 6 days. I love it! Its my first Apple Watch too. I personally do not like the “Now Playing” app on the watch. I find the volume adjustment latency very annoying and when I lift my wrist for a time check the “Now Playing” is open. The app I like the most is the Sleep app. It’s cool to know when I fall asleep and how much sleep I get.
Thanks a lot, your video was very informative. But I do have a question regarding WhatsApp notifications, do you receive WhatsApp notifications on the SE2?
Thanks. You should. If not go to Settings > Notifications > WhatsApp > turn on Allow Notifications. Next, open the Watch app, select Notifications, and turn on WhatsApp.
which one will you think last the longest if i turn off all sensors, no music, prob just calls and text +cellular (so i can leave phone at home) maybe use the books app and notes app. 0 games. 0 music. 0 sensors 0 health monitors. what would the time difference be? and se2 doesn't have fast charging ?

Thanks for this! I just got my Apple Watch SE 2 just under a month ago after upgrading from a Series 2. So far my impressions are great! It's good to have a guide on what features are best for actual use and for good battery life, plus to see what I've missed out on. Shame there's no always on display though, that I really wish this watch had, but I can live without it. I'll definitely be keeping this watch for 2-6 years. I used my old Series 2 from 2017-2022, and although it had some pretty major scratches on the screen, it never broke. Seriously, Apple Watches are tough cookies, tougher than a lot of people think, and I was pretty hard on that thing.
That's great! Congratulations on the SE 2 :) I'm in the market for a new apple watch, and it would be my very first one. How do you find the charging feature? Does it take a long time? :) Basically I'm debating between SE 2 and series 7. Passing on the series 8 though
This app isn't available on Apple Watch. You can download a third-party notes app, but the Notes app from iPhone isn't available on Apple Watch. You can find a list of built-in apps available in Apps on Apple Watch
Truly the only feature missing which is keeping me from jumping in, is the lack of keyboard. There used to be fully functioning app in the store but it’s been steady downhill reviews. It’s annoying that Apple withholds it from the SEs. I mean it’s only an app so it should not be an issue to add it.
Under the sounds, I tried changing my default to prominent for the vibration on my wrist it goes there when but within a few seconds it goes back to default by itself. How do you get it to stay on prominent?
Thanks for the video, it's nice to learn all this at my own pace. Your detail on all that is provided in the watch is amazing and just what I was looking for.

Hi Destinee, then the guide might be useful :)
As a beginner apple watch user, you are a life saver. Thank you so much!!
My pleasure
My pleasure! And yes, tough cookies indeed, but if you try really very hard...
Yes, they are tough cookies, but if you try hard enough....
That's great! Congratulations on the SE 2 :) I'm in the market for a new apple watch, and it would be my very first one. How do you find the charging feature? Does it take a long time? :) Basically I'm debating between SE 2 and series 7. Passing on the series 8 though
@@Time2ChooseYou The charging doesn’t actually take all that long, it’s able to charge pretty quick I find!
@@Happypumpkinboy Sounds good :) Thanks!
I have the SE 1 I love it it has good battery life it would last for 11 hours.
Can you use messenger call with iwatch SE?
Hi Joseph I do not know
Can I use Notes (king Notes)on Apple Watch se (2023)??
This app isn't available on Apple Watch. You can download a third-party notes app, but the Notes app from iPhone isn't available on Apple Watch. You can find a list of built-in apps available in Apps on Apple Watch
What size do you recommend?
Hi Sisay, with my wrist of 155 mm I chose the smaller version. But it is very personal
Merry Christmas , My wife just gifted me my first apple watch and your video was so informative thank you vert much
Thanks for your best wishes, glad the video was helpful. And, a great partner you have!
love the ability to do settings on my watch
Love your clear accent. I watched this to learn how to use my new Apple watch and test my understanding of English.
Thank you! 😃
Will Apple Watch SE calculate calories burned?
yes
Thank You
Truly the only feature missing which is keeping me from jumping in, is the lack of keyboard. There used to be fully functioning app in the store but it’s been steady downhill reviews. It’s annoying that Apple withholds it from the SEs. I mean it’s only an app so it should not be an issue to add it.
Winner Dm ..
How many iPhones can connect to an Apple watch?
One at a time
THE BEST VIDEO FROM UA-cam WITH A VERY GOOD EXPLANATION SO FAR!!! WELL DONE
Hi Bobby, you made my day. Thanks
Interesting how you have your Digital Crown facing your arm. It looks upside down, but I know you can set it up that way.
It is the way I like it, but I receive so many comments I am considering adapting :)
Under the sounds, I tried changing my default to prominent for the vibration on my wrist it goes there when but within a few seconds it goes back to default by itself. How do you get it to stay on prominent?
Hi, that is weird. Sorry, have not answer to this question
can you use applepay on this device?

Hi Alison, my pleasure
How do you access alternate sources of "Faces" for the SE 2 watch, please?
Unfortunately you can not
I’m finally getting my Apple Watch 😂, and coming back to watch this video again.
Good! Hope it is useful
@@DionMedia I think from your video you only talked about your give away on instagram right? Anyway someone is directing me through telegram so check that out.
This best and most thorough Apple Watch guide, thank u!
Thanks, you made my day
the cellular+gps version is nice to have if you run and don't want to chance dropping the phone plus with the cellular version say your iPhone battery dies you still have the watch to make calls T-Mobile is the way to go all day every day
Good points, thanks for sharing
thanks so helpful I am thinking to buy my first apple watch
Literally saved me hours of batterylife! Almost a day extra between charging
Hi Jonas, pleased to hear!
can this watch receive notifications from telegram and discord?
Hi, about discord I do not know, but about Telegram (with which I personally do not have experience) I see conflicting reports on the net. Apparently it was possible, but recently there have been problems and for now my conclusion would be that it is not possible. But I stand to be corrected
thanks @@DionMedia 🙂
My favorite feature of the Apple Watch is being able to see who is calling or texting me without having to take my phone out of my pocket
@danmcdan73
Great price and nearly all,the features of the Watch 8. All the ones I want actually
I have the Apple Watch SE.I love it!!!I use daily the work out,the music and the phone.❤
No crash detection though on that model
Duidelijk verhaal, dank je. Zojuist de SE besteld
graag gedaan en veel plezier met de SE
I’m a new Apple Watch user and I have watched many videos on this subject. Yours however is the very best one I’ve seen. Thank You!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks Dion for your research. Went to the Knightsbridge store and bought the 44mm today with the Milanese bracelet. I can wear the 40 with the silicon strap but couldn't get my hand through the 40mm Milanese. Crisis averted if I had bought on line!
:), good to hear. Enjoy your watch Michael!
Just purchased my Apple Watch SE 2. Followed your instructions and voila! It’s up and running as it should be. Hope to see more videos on tips & tricks for SE 2. Keep up the good work!
Thank you and enjoy your Apple Watch .
SE 2022 has fast charging??
HI Mateus, yes it does and it requires a power adapter with a minimum power output of 20 watts, such as the Apple 20W USB power adapter.
