For anyone looking for citrine, know that what's in the video is actually heat treated amethyst. Real, natural citrine is a pale yellow color with no white in it. It tends to be more expensive than imitation versions too.

Twice a day for nearly a decade I walked along the rocky shoreline with my dog. One particular day he seem to be obsessing near an area that didn’t seem to stand out for any reason. He was reluctant to approach while also desperately wanting to investigate. It turned out there were two pieces of amethyst he had found, maybe a small fist sized each. It looked as though it was a rock that had been split in two. He was a rather calm dog, not one to freak out or obsess about anything really. Any time I put these rocks on the floor he would lose his mind, he would never get close enough to touch it but constantly try to hit it with his paw or tap it with his nose, almost as if the rocks gave him a shock. Not unlike the behaviour you see with a puppy and something new. The issue is, that he did this his entire life and only with amethyst. If the rocks were not at least 5-6 feet off the ground he would know where they were and I would need to move them into the freezer or up higher on a shelf.
I’m a believer but I don’t participate in anything to do with crystals ...anecdotally I thought this was interesting at least 💜🐶 For whatever reason he was tuned to amethyst.
And yes he acted similarly to other amethyst when he would find it, other peoples homes etc.

Yes, it is very true. Crystals heal. I have experienced it myself, since I am wearing different crystal stones in my wrists, I feel very much better. I had problems with my colon and since I brought a Lapis Lazuli the problems with my colon went away, when I putted it in my hand, I felt like something moved away from my colon.

Really great videos they are very helpful, sometimes I feel I need a reminder to reconnect to my crystals, I have mine placed around my house, but I also wear them at times, I am often drawn to one for a few months and wear it and then as suddenly as my need for that crystal comes it can go. I love using them.
the crystal was calling out to your dog him & for you, animals pick up vibrations much easier than we do, I would guess there was some internal healing required at that time

I had a girlfriend who was a "witch" and so deeply into crystals that she sold them and wanted to start a store. She had lots of huge crystals and one day I visited her at home and she was laying on her bed and hat many of them around her pointed at her. I had to kind of chuckle. She declared she was absolutely positive she could feel all of their energy. Being an engineer, I was curious. So, I said, let's do an experiment. Let's see if your hands can feel the energy of these stones between them. So, we did a few tests... and sure enough, every time I put a big crystal between her hands she declared she could feel the energy! Amazing. Huh? Not so fast. Then I said, let's blindfold you and I will randomly place a crystal between your hands and then you can tell me again. When we did that and had about 30 runs at it, it turned out that she did no better than chance. Which would seem to align with a lot of the actual science on this pseudo-bull-hooey. She was rather unhappy with me and the result (I revealed each try as we were doing it after she made her guess).

So, the strangest (or maybe not) thing happened this morning. I've just started my crystal journey having recently started using some angel oracle cards; I want to setup an alter for meditation and connecting to the angelic realm using the crystals I've just bought to help. I went to bed having picked Archeia Faith from the deck (this was the card that made itself known while choosing) and used the rose quartz crystal on my heart chakra. I was filled with such radiance and calm, and a feeling of lightness. Anyway, this morning, last night's experience popped into my mind, I glanced at the clock without really thinking about the time and was exactly 11:11. Simultaneously, the song 'I feel love' by Donna Summer had literally started on the radio! I honestly believe things like this are messages (indeed proof) to give us hope and send us love, and confirm that our angels are there for support and guidance when we open up and come into their realm. @@jazalyn7163 I did do research. That calming effect is actually a placebo. The same thing happened to me when I rubbed a stick that I had peeled the bark off of when I was 10. If the same result can be accomplished by something that can be picked off the ground then you shouldn't spend money on it.

I have been watching videos on how to tell the authenticity of a crystal. The one thing I have seen is that some of citrine resembles are actually heat treated amethyst. So when wanting to use "citrine" for your solar plexus, If it is only heat treated amethyst, it wouldn't give off the same vibrational healing?
I enjoyed this video very much, I am into crystals and some people think I am a bit weird when I talk about their healing qualities as a matter of fact. But they really do have healing properties. I also got into crystals quite naturally when buying my first pointed clear quartz necklace and could feel an energy when I wore it, knowing it was coming from the crystal before I even knew it had healing qualities I thought it was just a coool necklace. I now have different ones mostly on jewelry that serve different purposes and I am drawn to at different times. Sometimes I am not drawn to one for months but then there will come a time I need to spend time with it. It's an angelite! You have inspired me to keep talking about my crystals! (Probably with people who don't think I am strange) Don't ignore if I am being to drawn to crystals! And maybe even get an encyclopedia! Love it :)
Actually, what has "healing powers" is the placebo effect, but not to the extent of fully healing, just mentally helping
Like Miguel said, the placebo effect is the closest thing to healing these crystals will give you.
Mechanically speaking, there’s nothing in them that will actually help you.
Some minerals like silver can help with very specific problems, (such as getting rid of bacteria by blocking it’s cell wall and generally wreaking havoc on the bacteria in question.)
Other than that, simple rocks can’t help you.
These facts should be obvious, and over the past 2 years, I’d assume you’ve come to this conclusion aswell.
In case you are still under this delusion, do think about these things.
Learn real science instead of silly magic. It’s way more interesting, and practical.

A lot of crystals can't go in the sun for long periods of time. Such as amethyst, rose quartz and smokey quartz. Also there's a quite a few crystals that can't go in the water. Mainly because they will degrade or release toxins. I recommend smoke cleansing you do this with incense or different herbs. And as for charging them. You can charge them with the moonlight or by simply holding the crystals and charge it with your intention and positive energy. Also you can selenite which is both cleansing and charging. Lastly the "amethyst "you were holding is actually spirit quartz or cactus quartz. This is high vibe stone and can help you connect to your spirit guides or just help you grow spiritually. I'm most attracted to the quartz Clear & Rose for their healing type properties due to my personal situation.

haha, I literally did fall in love with the cashier at a stone shop whilst holding a big rose quartz in my hand! I only realised when I got home what had happened and that the rose quartz may have played a role.
I’m going through a lot of stuff right now in Life and just need like some recommendations. What crystals I should use for reference last weekend my uncles dog got killed in a two car accident and both vehicles were autonomous so I mean just going through a lot of stress right now. That is actually amethyst that is heated and turned into a honey color and now called citrine. It is commercial citrine, but its still beautiful. Natural citrine is more like a light green yellow color 🙌🏻

I love this video especially where you take the lapis and rub it on your cheek because lapis is a throat chakra stone so I would say you rubbing your cheek with it is absolutely a healing technique not just a silly thing to do but healing to your throat chakra! Don't wash any stone in water ending in -ite (sodalite etc). It messes with the stone's energy.

I'm new to using my crystals I got gifted to me, your video helped me to understand more about them and how they can impact yourself. But I do have a question are you supposed to cleanse your crystals before you use them or can you just jump straight into using them? Thank you so much!!
The easiest way is to use a selenite plate to clean and charge them but you can also use smoke (from sage for example or Palo santo) to clean them or Water (but not good for all crystals) you can bury them overnight …

The citrine cluster she has isn't true citrine. It's heated amethyst. Citrine doesn't grow in clusters.
All citrine is amethyst that’s undergone extreme heat... there are man made citrine where we apply heat to amethyst which has a different color than natural citrine which is amethyst that has been super heated by the earth.
They also have almost the same properties as true citrine :)

@@filiz5837 that's just something I've heard and now i stick with it :) i feel like in the end, the most important thing isn't what exact properties your crystals have but what they mean to you. you can charge any crystal with any intention and even if you citrine is just a heated amethyst it can still help you in the same way a real citrine would :) but I'm no expert and I'm sure people might disagree with me on that haha

I found more help in the power of my mind, NO IM NO GOD! I am a human being & human beings have incredibly powerful minds. Look at people who train their mind to handle pain. Who can go months without eating, who can stand on hot coal, with not one burn mark! That’s the problem that you think “I’m just human”. Humans are incredibly specimens. I’ve never claimed to be a God, but I do know I have not only cured depression & anxiety with my mind, I also lost over 100 lbs so far, I have cured an abscessed tooth, where my jaw was swollen & I was in tears in pain. I’ve helped myself in the past 3 or 4 years now, more then any doctor, therapist or shrink ever helped me.

Hey, I just recently started using crystals, in combination with Vitamins. Used vitamins, about 2 years before discovering the healing crystals...just started using them but, honestly first impression over this week, its helping me. I'm A believer and got more lol. Personally, I like to take the lessons I have learnt from Buddhist techniques (like yoga & Chrystal meditation) and apply them to my life as a modern Christian. This does not mean that I myself am a Buddhist by any means - but I like that I can appreciate it for what it is, and take something from it! The world is a wide and wonderful place - keep your mind open, you might be surprised what you find there 😊💛

The beliefs about crystals within the Buddhist tradition are incredibly varied. There are numerous references to crystals in Buddhist texts, manuscripts, and mantras (phrases which invoke power or are used for prayer).
The most widely known of these is the Tibetan Buddhist mantra, “Om mani padme hum.” This roughly translates to “The jewel is in the lotus” (Silver 11). This jewel is thought of to be the wish-fulfilling jewel of enlightenment, the goal of all Buddhists.
I don’t know whether there are any direct scriptures saying that you should use crystals in a religious practice, but I do know that they are deeply rooted in Buddhist history. For instance, the companion stones of Rose Quartz, Amethyst, is also used by Buddhists. Tibetan monks used Amethyst beads in meditation malas. “In Tibet, Buddhists think of amethyst as a sacred stone and commonly craft rosaries from amethyst crystals” (Kenner 11). Similarly, it is said that, “Tibetans consider this stone to be sacred to Buddha and make prayer beads from it”
I mean no hate, and again, I am not a Buddhist by any means myself. Despite that, I like that I can take lessons from Buddhism and apply them to my normal life. These are just some of the facts I found along the way as I attempt to educate myself more about this religion! Personally I don't mind people or myself having things to make oneself feel closer to a divine being or some other worldly state of being. I have objects which make me feel close to divinity but I don't invest such objects with special powers or make the object as the only means by which I can come to divinity. Understanding oneself and then knowing oneself are the paths to divinity.
I suppose it depends which school of Buddhism you subscribe to, the major schools being Theravada, Vajrayanna and Mahayana.
I'm more familiar with Theravada which uses the Pali canon as its main collection of Buddhist teachings and its adherents view it as the true and most complete teachings of the Buddha. So I've never come across the use of crystals as part of its practice. There's Tendai which is the school I most identify with and I haven't come across the use of crystals mentioned in the Lotus sutra or if there is a reference I didn't pick up on, the school at the very least hasn't developed it as part of its practice.
There are mentions of jewels in Buddhist texts (stories about the disciples of Buddha or stories about the exploits of Bodhisattvas) but these are literary devices to show adherents the value of enlightenment and helping people let go of material attachment. It's just like how in Christian texts how Jesus uses a parable comparing heaven to a treasure buried in the field and a man sells all he has to buy the field to claim the treasure. Jesus isn't saying to Christians 'go and buy as much gold bullion as you can and earn as much money as you can' because these things will show adherents god's favour and take them closer to heaven.
Jewels and treasures are metaphors to show how much more valuable the state of enlightenment or being with the divine than unhealthy material obsession.

@@gives_bad_advice Crystals do indeed provide an aesthetic quality and may have a certain molecular property that stands out to us as the human species, However the point i was trying to get across was that it is an inanimate object that provides no further outcome or any natural 'miracles' (e.g. healing) as it clearly cannot have the effect on organisms. Its just a mineral or rock that has been around longer than us

cactuskatee I think they can be really nice in jewellery if you work with an intention associated with that crystal because then each time you notice your eg necklace, you can reaffirm and reconnect to your intention 😊 it’s also I think an accessible way to begin exploring crystals if you’re feeling skeptical as at the end of the day it’s still a pretty piece of jewellery!
