But after some recent research, I had a change of thought. And it raised the question....Can Christians have crystals? What I found in the Bible surprised me.

My mom is an amateur geologist. She loves hunting for and collecting all kinds of rocks, gem stones and minerals and has a beautiful collection, all regularly dusted and organized with name plates. I admire the collection each time i stroll past. And yes, crystals too. Natural ones! They're beautiful!! And they have no more power than the petrified wood or marble sitting next to it. God said if mankind did not turn to Him the rocks and trees would cry out to Him. Enjoy those beautiful gem stones and rocks! God create them! 🙌🙏❤️🎺🙌

Crystals are beautiful and they reflect Jesus’ beauty. We see them and we thank Our Lord for creating this beautiful world for us, just because He thought we would like it. ❤
One thing to consider when you buy anything from a New Age or Wiccan or Neopagan store is that before things are put on their shelves that are useful for spell magick, they are anointed during rituals to do the work they are set out to do. I know this because I followed Wicca before I renounced it and gave my life to Christ. My only regret is that I gave all of my things away instead of throwing them away. The woman I gave them to could sense all the power that still resided in them. Demons attach themselves to objects.
Yes, I certainly did consider that, which is why I was very careful as to the store I entered. It wasn't new age at all. But thank you for sharing your experience. Its not talked about enough.

That’s exactly how I feel about them. They come from the earth which God created and they can be enjoyed to look at.
They have energy stored in them from the time of creation. Like anything, even prayer, they can be used for good or bad. Prayer is bad if you are trying to control an outcome that isn’t meant for the highest good. Prayer harnesses energy, and if some with bad or controlling intention, you summon the will of darkness and not light (God). I own them mostly as jewelry or home decor.

I almost didn't watch this video because all that new age junk makes me very uncomfortable, but you've presented the information you found in an accessible and intelligent way and I understand so much more now. I decided long time ago no one was going to keep me from having rainbow jewelry, clothing and my house has rainbow decor as well as large crystals in my home because it all reminds me
of God who gave us the rainbow as a promise and he created the beautiful colors in this world as well as the beautiful crystals which remind me everyday of his awesome handiwork. I do not
use them for any other purpose other than to stand amazed at Gods creation. I also am careful who I purchase them from and I will only buy them in their natural form.

One thing is that they are actually pizoelectromagnetic which is some scientific term that basically explains how they run our technology (all computers have a quartz crystal in them needed to operate and also even our old school watches), so in fact they still do have “ energy “ but that still doesn’t make them evil. God created plants that have healing beneficial properties. Why not rocks? There are a few smoothed rocks I have because I think they’re beautiful and I immediately feel calmer when I hold one of them. If God wants to heal me with rocks he created I’m open to it
Plants are living, ie we eat them for good health. Rocks are just rocks. You sound like you are trapped in new age religion. Only the path of Jesus is the truth.

I read on Google that in electronics, crystals are used for frequency control. Crystals are usually cut from quartz and resonate at a set frequency when powered. However, I certainly wouldn't worship them. I love their color!

I have a few crystals in my home. I have clear crystal quarts door knobs and crystal glasses and cutlery. I don't worship them, I have them because I like shiny things. I enjoy their beauty. Love this. Amethyst is my favorite. Love the color purple. I donated my crystal chunk of amethyst that my mom gave me, but part of it was because she was getting into some of the new age stuff- so that piece, I willingly let go. But yes, love that you found God’s use of his creative rocks in the Bible.
I believe crystals has a frequency but so does everything else in my household. Therefore I place everything that I own under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. But yes I am not going to place my sauce pan on my leg and think it’s going to heal my aching joints.

I'm a Christian, had a Godly message dream about a shop., but was unsure what it meant but definitely the feeling of something life changing. Two years later I went to a shop brought crystals for extra empowerment then realised days later it was the same shop in the dream. Concluded to myself that the dream must have been a message of blessing, so continued buying crystals. However, two members of the family thought something didn't sound right as I found myself talking to them and cleansing them. I thought they are fine they are in the bible. Asked crystals for help and YES they came true. Which made me realise that they are truly powerful and real. Many arguments with my husband about them. Decided to fast and pray about an issue. However, when I fasted and prayed God told me to get rid of them. Immediately I wanted them out of my house and succeeded. Yes, don't do things with them but since the wake up call from God, I have never returned to them. It's been 6 years now.

I don't "believe in" stuff like crystals having healing powers - in my head. But my old boss did crystal healing on the side and had a beautiful piece of citrine that I used to hold onto when I was stressed and I felt calmer. Maybe it's placebo effect but doesn't matter, it still works for me :)

Crystals are not meant to work for you, they are merely decorative, God's handiwork.. Your boss would have spoke spells of some description of their stones so that is why you felt something "positive." Seek Jesus when you are stressed, stay in His word and keep praying. Peace to you. I was in new age for 12 years. Personally I don't want crystals in my home because of the heavy link with my past but that is not to say I won't have them as ornaments in the future. God's stones are so beautiful!

Crystals are made by God himself and are mentioned in the bible many times. Crystals are used by shamans, healers, seers, prophets, witches and occult practitioners for centuries. It's not idolatry or demonic, it's up if HOW you use it, your intentions. A lot of mages and wise men in medieval ages testified the power of crystals. Crystals are just medium/instruments of faith just like using a rosary when asking for divine healing and protection.
And mentioning the Bible, remember the Bible was compiled by the church and many parts of it were twisted to align with the church's dogmas and to manipulate the masses. Humanity doesn't revolve on the teachings of the Bible, for example using crystals for metaphysical purposes is popular in Hinduism and Buddhism
I Love crystal’s colors and shapes.. they’re amazingly beautiful but that’s it. My favorite is opal grew helping my mother cleaning and admiring a whole jar 🫙 of them omg the mixture of colors and none of them were exactly the same. Just beautiful!! 💙

Some sect of people uses crystals, to pot different curses upon them, or strange unbiblical prayers or chants, then sell them. They do this with foods, clothing that haventvbeen sewn yet, shoes, purses..you name it. I pray and bless everything i purchase, even before i make the purchase.

I treated my stones and crystals the same as everything else in my house I sorted, organized, donated, or threw away- I discerned what should stay or go then prayed over what stayed. That meant some got thrown away because you don’t make a profit or transfer bad things to other people.

OK, I understand about the scriptural research, and I greatly respect what you do Kris. But what about the need for us to avoid the appearance of evil? Because so many people in New Age, witchcraft and the occult do wear them and use them or try to use them, and as someone pointed out about the Pizoelectromagnetics, there is some power or ability at least to spark something. But, the main point being avoiding the appearance, and not being a stumbling block. As Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, wrote "all things are permissible for me, but all things are not profitable. "
For instance, I was raised by a practicing witch… So it is still very hard for me to not look at someone wearing those things (just like someone wearing a pentagram) and not think they are involved in trying to usurp power and give credit for it to some thing other than God. In the interest of "come, let us reason together." I also hate religion and legalism, so I'm definitely not coming at it from that angle.
EVERYTHING IS VIBRATION AND FREQUENCY
Dear Kris. As a youngster, I was also fascinated by the beauty of crystals and had quite a collection of them. This was before New Age had acquired them in a big way to promote their agenda. Later, a friend who was flirting with New Age, invited me to a Fair selling New Age objects and Ideology. Naively, my then partner bought me a good luck crystal. Strangely enough Kris, it broke almost straight away to my consternation. When I became a Christian again, I renounced all these ideas. However, like yourself, I still find crystals beautiful, colourful and fascinating, particularly the way the light can play on them. So I decided to be careful about wearing them, particularly if the jewellery is claimed on its packing to have healing powers. I do still have a few small decorative ones in my collection. May God continue to prosper your ministry
I bought a ring pink Crystal ring from the hospital that I was working at few years back. The first time I wore it to church, I had my hands up and worshipping in song to the Lord Jesus.
My finger started tingling the one with the ring on it. I was kind of scary .. the time I wore it to church it shocked my finger.....😮. so I learned about crystals back then in the 90s. So I put it to the test. I prayed against witchcraft connected to it. I prayed about it.... so I got rid of it. Be led by the Holy Spirit about matters with crystals and if people give it to you and you're not sure its origin or connected with witchcraft. they're into something else get rid of it. Rather be safe then sorry later.❤

I have prayer beads from a project we did with the youth group (made out of pony beads). I used liturgical colors, which keeps me on track with the church season themes as I pray. I'm making myself an upgrade - a grown-up version where I selected gemstone beads (because they're real - like my faith and God's Creation - not plastic). For "ordinary time green", I chose moss agate (looks like growth, right?), and for Christ's death, lava (descended to the dead), etc... The cross has wood beads, and the center of the cross is clear crystal quartz (He is not here, He is risen). I can't wait for my bead order to arrive! 🙂 So glad to hear your take on crystals - I thought about that a lot when I was making my selections. I chose what would be meaningfully aligned to the prayer themes, not what some new age "magic" says about "powers" (does what God created need additional magic?). I remember as a young teenager that I went to a fabric store and bought the items to make a belt for myself. I picked the rainbow 3-4 inch cloth like strap thinking how pretty it was (never heard of gay or lesbian stuff in my life). Not until high-school did I hear that stuff. I got rid of it once I grew out of it. I think about how innocent people were back then, just not knowing or hearing of such turmoil.

Absolutely love crystals and all rock formations of any kind. My dad was a geological engineer and he taught very early in life to enjoy and appreciate these beautiful examples of God’s handiwork. He would bring me rocks from his travels and he left his collections and books to me. To this day I still collect and identify rocks on every trip and display them for their beauty and the stories they tell, in my home. I have never worshipped or thought they had magical powers. But I’m wondering if the many uses of rocks and minerals bc of their unique physical properties, might have lead to exaggerated myths about their abilities.

Ppl will always twist the truth to sway their way, manipulate to suit their agenda, change the narrative and distort the truth. That's how most myths and legends start such as the campfire boogyman stories as example. It's meant to scare and frighten but is it true ?!
We have to use our common sense and wisdom of discernment with the Holy Bible as reference. By living God's way we are on the right path ❣️🙏🏼❣️

God creates beautiful kaleidoscope stuff, like rainbows, different colorful cats, birds, flowers, people, fishes, etc. Crystals like diamond are creation of God.

Everybody has crystals in your home, everybody! Diamonds, birthstones, any kind of gemstones. Oh and don't forget salt crystals, and sugar crystals
I have been a crystal enthusiast for a very long time and this makes me feel better and a relief I don’t have to get rid of my crystal collection… maybe some lol but I know that before anything God comes first and though I did used to believe in the “healing of crystals” my perspective has changed since I have gotten closer to my faith and know that our only healer is Jesus
