Same problem I've been skating my tablets for 3 years and I finally got my tres back it has to be so proper, there's no 340 flips on tablets! But on the tablets the pinch on grinds is so good feeling and way more locked in and I'm looking for new spitfire wheels now, so thank you, I'm trying these next!

The LockIns are good but i really prefer the full conicals. They lock in as good as the lock ins but have less friction in my opinion. Btw i tried inverted kingpin and I'm in love 👌
I prefer the OG Classics to the lock-ins. They're over all narrower than the lock-ins, but with a slightly wider riding surface, so it's a lighter wheel with grip as good as the conicals. For the edges they are a nice middle ground between the super hard edge of the tablet and the rounder edge of conicals.
Radials are one of my favourite shapes but these are becoming one of my top wheels as well! I don’t usually skate classics because the riding surface is smaller and don’t have as good of a lock in though

Bro I feel like Bones are the answer lol. Spitfires just seem like a lower quality version of all the bones I’ve ever skated. Every time I’ve stepped on someone’s board with spitfires I just feel so much more heavy & sticky & all that. I just suggest trying a pair of bones x99 or 97. I just got a x97 54mm X formula bones. I’m about to try out but I’ve been riding stf’s my whole life & have been riding a pair of decenzo’s for the past few months

The Spitfire Radials are probably my all time favourite wheel but the Conicals and these Lock-ins are amazing too! The 97 X formula's you just got will be sweet man. They are really nice on rough ground when you're street skating but they still slide really well too 👌🏼

Hi man🤟☺️ I saw that you use Spitfire 93 durometer, how do you like it? Do slides and grinds slide well with 93? or are they too sticky as they are softer?

Yeah dude, I'm keeping an eye out for when they drop here in AUS but I'll definitely be getting a set! These are just Bones Reds with the shields off. I wouldn't recommend popping the shields but I don't like having coloured bearings so this way looks better to me lol
@@LeonPaxton They aren't here in Canada yet either. I got a crazy deal on the Bronson Raws. I find the Reds faster without the shields. I could be wrong. Maybe its just in my mind.

i have some bones stf v2, which is their tablet shape. they skated alright i guess, maybe a bit harder to flip/scoop, but they look like shopping cart wheels and leave the axle nuts exposed to damage. plus they kinda chunk out like modern ojs, not a fan.
@@LeonPaxton yeah they were on a complete i bought off marketplace. i wouldn't have chosen them, but it's a good way to try new stuff at a discount. usually as long as i like the deck and/or trucks and the price is right i'll go for it. i got three completes each for less than the cost of a set of trucks, one had indy forged hollows ($40), one had thunder forged hollows($15), one had indy standard (usa made)($55)
So do I so it's weird having to have the graphic pointing out on these ones but flipping them around would defeat the purpose 😂 Depending on how much you turn, revert and slide your wheels they can definitely become coned by the end of the life of the wheel but it's very slightly and not even across each wheel.

They are narrower but the straight edge doesn't work for the way I do tre flips. As hard as I try, I just can't seem to pop my tre flips up without rolling the board over and scooping so I need a rounded edge to initiate that roll over or they just won't work, for me anyway lol
This is part of my wheel nightmare/fantasy life... Nothing is perfect... And I am on a wheel journey... So 80's conicals protected your axle nuts... I now ride these same SF Lock-Ins at 52mm after riding the Powell Nano-Cubics, which have a similar shape only the Nanos protect your nuts... But the Nanos are 97a Dragon Formula (🤮Slippery Marshmallows is a better name for Dragon Formula...) The Nanos locked in so nicely that I was hell bent on an asymmetrical wheel. And so then I got a set of the Spitfire Lock-In FULLS in the smallest size at 54mm because they do protect your nuts and they are 99a!!! However the 54mm size wasn't my jam, so I got these regular width Lock-In 52mm which DO NOT protect your axle nuts... I put an extra washer behind and still the nut sticks out some. They lock in perfectly though. Snot makes the Wide-Boys in 53mm 99a and those do protect your nut, I have them on my Heroin 10" Curb Killer but they feel huge on my 8.25 daily rider and they don't have a lock in side... Alas I wait for essentially the Nano-Cubic shape in 52mm 99a NON Dragon Formula... so I ride these SF Lock-Ins for now. (

I just set up some 54mm lock in fulls. So good for ledges.
