YEAHHHHHH CONVIC SKATEPARKS ON TOP
Bros skating a boat while I'm out here skating a toothpick by comparison (8.5 Flight)
Looks fun tho
Ik i’m a little late with this comment but if you’re 11 yrs old and are like 140/145cm long and your shoe size is 32-38 what skateboard do you need too use
Using washers to push your wheels out more may not be the best for the axels.
Excellent explanation and tutorial 👍
My unpopular opinion is that thunders are the best looking trucks.
So expensive
Ah fun watching this for the first time. I’m about to try my 8.5 slappy hollows on a 9 inch Powell foil flight popsicle with a 14.5 inch wheelbase and 54mm 101 a spitfire conicles. I think (and hope) it’ll be pretty fun
Hell yeah, that sounds good!
First, and thanks dude this helped me a lot
Hell yeah, glad it helped!
Question why do my board do upside down when I try crook to fakie make a tutorial to keep that under you
Yeah dude, you still have to pop out a little to go fakie
Just getting back into skating ordered the tablets spitfire 52mm when I skated back I. The day I skated royal trucks and dark star light knight wheels
Hell yeah, welcome back!
@ thank you I was surprised how hard it was to find a 7.75 deck.
Dude, any idea if a store in Australia are stocking the updated Remind Insoles or planning to soon? $131 to get a pair shipped from the US 😅
Yeah I haven't seen this new range in any Aussie stores yet either!
@LeonPaxton damn! Who knows when it'll be then... DM if you/anyone you know want to split an order to Sydney
That look like a fingerboard
What size 6, 8. Ohh we are talking skateboards. Lol
What is your honest review of these compared to thunder trucks though? I have titanium thunders thought about converting them into inverted or try slappys
They are too different to compare man! Thunder's don't turn as sharp, increase your wheel base and make it a little harder to nose and tail slide because the hanger sits further out on baseplate. If you Like the way your Thunders skate and feel then you might want to just invert them
I used to live near here and I never even knew this park existed so yeah I'd say it's pretty forgotten 😂
So can i ride the 9” af1 on a 9.5?
Yeah dude! That's what I do 👌🏼
I was just going to ask you all of this because i have realised that to do crooked Easter i need to go as on nose slide
Why skate in the wet when you can watch Leon Paxton?
You legend!
@ Thanks ☺️
What trucks are those (brand and width)?
These are the 10" Curb Killer Slappy trucks 👌🏼
Just ordered a 9.5 heroin if you had any truck but only one to choose from what truck would it be and wheel ?
Sick! Damn that’s a tough one! Either Slappy or Ace hollow trucks in a 9” and maybe some 54mm Radials or 55mm Lock ins 🤔
Wow met with the big guy himself
Hell yeah, he’s a legend!
Looks very beginner friendly 😃
ive got this board, i never learned flip tricks, enjoying this one for slappies! would like to kick flip one day.
Hell yeah, it’s such a good board! Might be hard to learn how to kick flip on this one though lol
@LeonPaxton i got the 13inch swampzilla one, i went and got another pair of 215s for this craig questions board. I am sorta hoping i can find a replacment for this one incase i snap it one day. Nose and tail feel perfect.
What trucks do you actually ride
I have a few different setups but they main trucks I end up riding are the Slappy Inverted Hollow Lights and the Ace AF1 Hollows 👌🏽
i just put some 148 thunder hollow light hangars on some old thunder low, cast, 6-hole baseplates from the '90s with grindking inverted kingpins. the mounting holes are shifted in like 1/8" per truck so they give about 1/4" more wheelbase, more like ventures. and the heavier plates and solid kingpin balance out the weight a bit better. the hollow lights were almost too light. i made a video, scheduled the 4th
Damn that’s sick! I want to mess around with some of my trucks too and create something new 🤔
Crooked grinds are so clean 😩
I try to keep my weight over the front truck mainly but pls tutorial how to get out cuz i always primo
Part 2 is dropping tomorrow or you can watch the full video linked to this short 👌🏽
Really great articulation here. What about truck tightness?
My trucks are always loose so I can pinch this grind really well but the looser your trucks are the less comfortable you will be rolling up to and landing the truck so you have to find the right balance 👌🏽
What a no good name I can name 14 lives lost to herion no shame or respect for humanity this brand is trash never buy from them if you love your life and your friends life Making heroin and everyday word is absolutely dinteresting
I'm alright I will stick to my 7.75
are you going to be looking into the 11 inch slappy trucks!!?
Probably not, the Eggzilla’s are already hard enough to skate with 10” trucks 😅
Sick and chill little park 🔥
bigger surface area obviously means more control... thank you for bringing the obvious to the masses...
The guys at 7:43 and 8:02 got me laughing 😆
The eggzillas look so funnii 🥹
Popsicle boards are better for nose & tailslides.
ua-cam.com/users/shorts3MBlmlXa2_Y?si=Wj82tpQ7J8fFjb4_ 👍👍
I dunno man, personally I'm not a fan of these "look how different I am" boards. They are heavy and bulky. Even watching yourself skate it, it looks messy. It flips slow and lands like a brick wall. Skateboards evolved from this style to be more efficient and practical. Seems like going backwards is more of a statement from the skater or grab for attention. Artwork is awesome tho 👌🏼
Excellent lesson 👏
Thanks dude, thanks for watching!
Tomorrow I'm going to skate my new set up for testing reasons I'm using 56 mm 85A duro wheels because I skate street then ramp and bowl later then more street but most of my terrain I skate is brutal soo hopefully this new all terrain machines works out
Hell yeah, those wheels will feel so nice on rough ground!
@LeonPaxton insanely smooth I just got back from the test run I have never skated anything like this set up
Do a video on why wheel duro is important
🤝
❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
I skate a 8.5 and I’m 5’8 (sadly😂). And it feels perfect for me. Love the videos❤
That’s it man, as long as it feels most comfortable to you 👌🏽
Cool board 👍
It’s so fun!
I appreciate you making the thuds of you skateboarding match with the beat of the music at the end
Haha thanks man, I love editing to the beat 👌🏽
Crooked for rails please!!
Done 🤝
My go-to trick for 30 years now, lol. I remember seeing someone push these through a chunky ledge back in the day and thought it was so cool. Took me a minute to learn, let alone well, but I really think everyone can learn crooks. One thing I always tell people is to be sure to get on and over the ledge enough with their torso. People are often a bit apprehensive, and will lean away from the ledge and not really get their weight on. That's why I always say to focus onto the ledge in such a way that you CAN'T see the side of the ledge anymore. You really want your head and upper body to be over the ledge, not leaning to the side as if you're expecting to bail or slip over. Yes, you'll overshoot/slip over the edge sometimes, but you'll slip out harder if your weight is too much to the side than over the ledge.
Hell yeah, it’s such a good feeling trick to do! That’s a good point, you definitely need to have your weight over the ledge to lock in and hold it properly 👌🏽
