IIRC their creative director sadly passed away mid project, they ended up having to shift under new direction.

@@ibnakhal How did you find that out? I still remember the gameplay trailer for the original game where the bald space marine in this trailer wakes up in a church or something at the start. It was so bloody long ago. Been trying to find it for a long time but I think it got taken down

@@Detson404 the only thing that was good was the feeling of walking in a space marine shoes, otherwise it was not a warhammer game, but a god of war clone in warhammer clothing, I mean cm on, why does every character in every game has to have FOOTSTOMPS, gears of war was more warhammer than this
If you want a "warhammer" game then you would have a civilisation like table top game, I think you're gonna need to give them some much needed praise for actually being able to translate the 40k universe into a non table top (video) game.
@@Chromecast_Eternal DARKTIDE is a proper warhammer action game ...but for some reason the lazy devs did not include space marines.....space marine arcadish combat does not belong in a warhammer game
