it is bcuz its technics, now if they made a new one and I hope they do, then it's all over.
Remove the to buttons on display and 2 screws un do. That's it

I like the vinyl on top I think that is a nice touch but actually these cdj were good without that as well. That face plat problem, my mates owed these for years never had that problem. He used these for multiple gigs never had a problem. But that being said I do prefer your version.
I wouldn't mind copping them already converted.

Yes I think the crucial question is are you developing this as a business or is it just personal.
Demos are great - but how about a step by step guide on how others could mod them to be just as effective?

What about putting the Serato Tone on a SD Card? Can you do that with your mod?
Yes I can put Serato on Sd cards for you !
If this had a midi mode it would be a beast. I'm sure this is great for DVS but the cue points and sampler pads are useless in DVS mode :-/... For the price you can't beat it PERIOD. I can still use my pioneer sp1 for program features...

@@p2dz86 how long ago did you get them done? How does this modification change the feel of the platter???? I heard they feel different because of a sort of slip mat that's installed.
@@bretmelton7116 about 2 years ago I still use them and I hand them install butter rugs in them so it's all good I love them
@@p2dz86 I'd like to have my pair done this year. Currently my platters feels sluggish, sometines they don't pickup the beat after a scratch the same way a real sl1200 does. They feel slow.

Do you do a kit where the display stays in the middle but the platter is upgraded?
Does it still have one of the worst vinyl sound simulation on the market ? That was the biggest issue of SL-DZ1200...
Anyway, this is a very good job !
The sound issue was solved on succesive software updates. The point is that when the updates were released, the product reputation was already destroyed. One the updastes were applied, the sound quality was pretty amazing.
What settings are you using on the DZ's? Mine sound artificial. I have the latest firmware. Thanks

Converting these old tables would just be an expense along with even buying the cd players. The Denon's have direct drive motors in them so they act exactly like your 1200 but they can obviously read all formats including flac have usb ports for sticks and for software integration etc.
Nobody is asking you to buy a pair then modify them.. of course there are better products out there.. but if you had a pair.. this would be a really a cool thing to do..

Hi, when I scratch slowly I get strange scratch sounds... Kinda distorted and off. Have the latest firmware any thoughts or settings that might be off? Burnt the Serato timecode if that matters... Thanks!!
Can this unit mimic the technics 1200's as far as beat mixing without any programs in the turntable mode?

Have these been tested with serato & do you need that display if using serato ?
Yes they work perfectly with any DVS. The version here is disconnected the latest version has no screen and is a perfect match for using with Serato/Traktor...etc I supply a SD card with 8 hours of timecode do you pop it in and forget about it. For further information please message via the Facebook page as it's easier for me to reply on time. I really should update this video as well Jesus it's slow and long!

we don´t need motor plater anymore, is just one more thing to break, i have 2 1210mk2 i love it but pionner cdj is so must easy to use...
If someone wants to be a dope scratch DJ then nothing beats a moving platter, that's what this & the NS7 are made for... but if someone is not getting into the whole scratching & juggling turntablist art form but they want to be a dope DJ that concentrates on mixes & effects then any good controller or CDJs will do!

Its only the screen and one cable extra to carry. Most people will use a flight case anyway.
